With the rapid development of computer software and hardware technology, 3D technology and virtual reality technology is acquiring a greater growing space. Three-dimensional virtual campus environment compared with the traditional two-dimensional campus graphics more intuitive, vivid, true-to-life. More convenient to operate, you can choose a different camera pan any, the viewpoint conversion, angle rotation.

Virtual reality technology is a way for teachers and students to create a simulated three-dimensional world,a vivid and lifelike learning evironment for students in terms of vision, hearing and touch, having the students feel as participants of the virtual environment.A multi-user virtual campus system based on virtual reality technology is put forward in this paper, which includes the basic models, system structure and implementation scheme. The system is a simulation of real life in campus where students can take activities such as having class, doing exercises and making friends; and teacher can make lectures, review works of students and conduct examinations; managers can manage the daily teaching activities and students' affairs.

BACKGROUND Education and learning are the most important goals of all universities. For this purpose, lecturers use various tools to grab the attention of students and improve their learning ability. Virtual reality refers to the subjective sensory experience of being immersed in a computer-mediated world, and has recently been implemented in learning environments. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of a virtual reality condition on students’ learning ability and physiological state. METHODS Students were shown 6 sets of videos (3 videos in a two-dimensional condition and 3 videos in a three-dimensional condition), and their learning ability was analyzed based on a subsequent questionnaire. In addition, we analyzed the reaction of the brain and facial muscles of the students during both the two-dimensional and three-dimensional viewing conditions and used fractal theory to investigate their attention to the videos. RESULTS The learning ability of students was increased in the three-dimensional condition compared to that in the two-dimensional condition. In addition, analysis of physiological signals showed that students paid more attention to the three-dimensional videos. CONCLUSIONS A virtual reality condition has a greater effect on enhancing the learning ability of students. The analytical approach of this study can be further extended to evaluate other physiological signals of subjects in a virtual reality condition.

From the construction of “new socialist countryside” to the proposal of “full coverage of village planning,” rural construction has gradually been pushed to a climax. However, the current situation of rural landscape construction in China is not optimistic. On the one hand, the rural landscape deviates from its rural and regional characteristics due to deliberately seeking novelty and differences. Based on these two extreme development trends, this article uses virtual reality technology to construct a rural landscape virtual-roaming system, and randomly select 25 people, each group of 5 people, a total of 3 groups, enter the system in batches with a real reduction degree of 30%, 45%, 60%, 75%, and 80% for experimentation and score the system after the experience. The true reduction degree of the first group is 30%; the true reduction degree of the second group is 45%; the true reduction degree of the third group is 60%; the true reduction degree of the fourth group is 75%; and the true reduction degree of the fifth group is 80%. After analyzing the experimental data, it is concluded that when the true reduction degree of the system goes from low to high, people’s satisfaction is higher; when the true reduction degree is as high as 80%, the satisfaction is as high as 9 points; when the true reduction degree of the system goes from low to high, people’s sense of immersion is getting deeper and deeper. When the true reduction degree is 30%, the lowest score for immersion is 1 point; when the true reduction degree is 80%, the lowest score for immersion is 7.5 points; the true reduction of the system decreases from high to low; when it is high, people’s interaction degree becomes stronger and stronger. When the true reduction degree is 30%, the lowest interaction degree score is 2 points; when the true reduction degree is 80%, the lowest interaction degree score is 9 points; it can be seen from this that, with the increase in the degree of realism of the rural landscape virtual-roaming system, it is extremely difficult for people to find whether they are in the virtual or the reality, and their immersion in virtual reality is getting deeper and deeper. This test also confirmed the superiority of the virtual roaming system in rural landscapes, and the experience is extremely effective.

With the rapid development of computer technology, communications technology, and other related technologies, the Digital City has become a hot topic of current research. The traditional method of constructing digital city based on ArcGis is very complex, the type of computer software that related is much more, and the interaction between the software is poor. For the traditional method of digital urban design is difficult to design and visualization effect is poor, this paper builds the techniques of campus apartment modeling based on the skyline combined specific examples of campus apartments, realizes three dimensional (3D) visualization and query and analysis functions of the campus apartment system and proposes a simple method of creating 3D landscape efficiently.

Along with the rapid development,3D virtual reality technology has been applied more and more widely. In order to display the virtual scene better and make user an immersed body experience, 3D rendering engine plays a key role in this field. Unity 3d is a professional gaming rendering engine with strong compatibility and comprehensive integration. In this paper, we focus on the Unity 3D rendering engine, and describe the basic workflow of virtual roaming. We discuss the key technology to realize outdoor roaming through Unity 3D and optimization.

The rapid development of medical imaging and the invention of various medicines have benefited mankind and the whole community. Medical image processing is a niche area concerned with the operations and processes of generating images of the human body for clinical purposes.  Potential areas such as image acquisition, image enhancement, image compression and storage, and image based visualization also include in medical image processing analysis. Unfortunately, medical image compression dealing with three-dimensional (3-D) modalities still in the pre-matured stage. Along with that, very limited researchers take a challenge to apply hardware on their implementation. Referring to the previous work reviewed, most of the compression method used lossless rather than lossy. For implementation using software, MATLAB and Verilog are the famous candidates among researchers. In term of analysis, most of the previous works conducted objective test compared with subjective test. This paper thoroughly reviews the recent advances in medical image compression mainly in terms of types of compression, software and hardware implementations and performance evaluation. Furthermore, challenges and open research issues are discussed in order to provide perspectives for future potential research. In conclusion, the overall picture of the image processing landscape, where several researchers more focused on software implementations and various combinations of software and hardware implementation.
