Pakistan is the world's sixth most populous country, currently facing the worst energy crisis. Although rich in renewable resources, Pakistan's energy system relies mainly on fossil fuels and imported energy for its energy needs. This study aims to use an analytical hierarchy pro-cess to prioritize six renewable technologies for Pakistan, with four criteria and thirteen subcriteria. The results indicate that solar power is particularly well suited for Pakistan, as it gained 42% priority weightage in the final aggregation. Wind energy is ranked second with a priority weight of 24%, followed by hydro 13%, biomass 9%, ocean 8% and geothermal en-ergy 3%. Solar and wind energies accounted for nearly 66% of the total weightage. This result highlighted the significance of economic criteria for the selection of renewable technologies in Pakistan, with around 43% priority weightage. Environmental criteria gained 19% whereas socio-political criteria registered 14% and technical criteria 23% priority weightage. During the potential assessment of the research, it was concluded that although renewable resource development has not been allocated sufficient attention in Pakistan in the past, if the correct decisions are taken regarding the exploitation of these resources, this can remedy the country's hazardous dependence on fossil fuel and imported energy.

This study aims to classify consumers in the selection of houses using Fuzzy Multi Criteria Decision Making (FMCDM) method based on data mining. Alternative houses provided there are four of the minimalist houses, contemporary modern homes, classical houses, and traditional ethnic houses. To generate these choices, there are five criteria: price criteria, home/type criteria, interior criteria, exterior criteria, and home environmental criteria. The results of this study can help system users in determining the choice of home type based on the user's tastes of the criteria available and also can help the investors and contractors in building houses, villas, hotels, and housing of the criteria.

The choice of the most beneficial road alignment variant is a multicriteria issue, based on transport, economic, social and environmental criteria. The criteria chosen for a multicriteria analysis can be expressed through measurable or immeasurable parameters. In order to compare and assess the variants it is necessary to normalize the criteria, which means a rescaling of their value, so that the criteria values fall into a specific range. The main aim of normalization is to assign an identical weight to each criterion in relation to other criteria. This article presents a review of the influence of criteria normalization methods and the variant assessment methods on the choice of the most beneficial road alignment variant on the example of the bypass of the town of Księżyno, which is a stretch of Regional Road 678 near Bialystok. Four variants of road alignment were compared and their ranking was created using six assessment methods. It was proven that the choices of the criteria normalization method as well as the variant assessment method both have significant influence on the result of the multicriteria analysis in the decision-making process of selecting the road alignment.

Selection of a particular agricultural crop for the food production is a complexproblem. This is usually conditioned not only by the financial claims, but also otherrequirements should be taken into the account, i.e. environmental criteria, sustainability, etc. Fuzzy Logicis one of the many appropriate tools/procedures forsolving such task(s).Such a procedure will be implemented within decision-makingalgorithm for the selection of an appropriate agricultural crop. The paper deals withthe implementation of the mentioned tool/procedure for selection and ranking ofthe particular sort of crops, regarding different decision-making structures. Withinthis, there is an intention to reduce all possible biases and subjectivities tominimum by using Fuzzy Logic. This will be applied with input parameters, whichare extracted and correlated with real requirements and conditions regarding actualneeds of the market and farmers. Along with the offered agricultural crops andpossibility of their selection, final ranking and selection of the most appropriatecrop can be supported for different possible scenarios (dry or wet period of theyear, accents on the financial, environmental of other criteria, available financialresources, market availability, etc.). Presented methodology will contribute to thefinal goal, which is systematic agricultural planting and sustainability of the foodproduction.
