Few studies have discussed the roles of parents towards addressing ecological crisis. Yet, discourses on these roles have always been approached from a secular perspective. To this end, this paper critically discusses the roles of parents towards ecological crisis from the Christian or biblical perspective of their responsibilities towards their children. Using a hermeneutic phenomenological method of analysis, the article argues that ecological disasters of tomorrow could be prevented today through effective ecologically centred Christian parenting.

Abstract Background: Proper transfer of professional values is an essential part of medical education. Real-life experiences in the educational process are one of the most effective methods for achieving values and assisting the student in developing his/her value framework. This study aimed to develop and characterize the concept of value-rich exposures in medical education to bring this concept closer to the practice. Methods: We used Walker and Avant concept synthesis method. In order to perform the synthesis, a combination of hermeneutic phenomenological method and literature review was used. Results: We defined the concept of value-rich exposure in medical education under five themes while implementing the steps of Walker and Avant's concept synthesis: probing self-inner values, value-rich program, value mentor, value-rich interactions, and value-rich environment. The elements and relationships of the themes were depicted in the form of a conceptual matrix. Conclusions:A value-rich exposure is a type of lived experience that occurs during a student’s professional life, a necessity that, with proper planning, can play an important role in shaping medical students' professional identities.

CRITICAL-PHENOMENOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF LEGITIMATE MISAPPROPRIATION INDIRECTLY IN THE LIGHT OF THE POLITICAL VECTORS 1988 CONSTITUTION

Summary: The research that track in this research is oriented towards an ontological questioning about the indirect expropriation phenomenon, in order to place the question of the legitimacy of this institution in view of the existing constitutional paradigms. Therefore, we have adopted in the epistemological sense, the hermeneutic phenomenological method. Strictly speaking, the methodological approach is the epistemological anarchism of Paul Feyerabend (2007), since the seizure of the complexity of the phenomenon is not static, but in construction, which makes it impossible to adopt a single method. The basic philosophical orientation to conduct this research is the criticism and the technique used is the literature and documents. As a gateway to the question now, we will analyze the Special Appeal No. 1,060,924-RJ (2008 / 6113189-7), which involves the problem of improper expropriation; we will cover briefly the history of property rights, and then we will use the doctrinaire breadwinner, so that we have enough information to wend the critical path, which will be stated the illegitimacy of the practice of this dispossession mode by the State, for showing up absent constitutional reasons therefor.

Keywords: State intervention in the property; Expropriation; dispossession; phenomenology; Legitimacy

Data da submissão: 01/05/2016 Data da aprovação: 12/06/2016

What does is mean to be the parent of a disabled child? This article explores assumptions which permeate the author's encounter with of a prominent Canadian newspaper text on "stress". Through a hermeneutic phenomenological method, the author opens up broader cultural meanings that contribute to and rely upon the category of "parents of disabled children". In particular, the author explores the prescriptions presented on disability, race, class, gender, nationality, and sexuality which emerge in the reading process. Additionally, the author considers how medico-scientific authority is asserted in this textual encounter, and examines the historical grounding of such interpretive moves.

Keywords

stress, parents, mothers, fathers, history, disability, gender, nation, race, class, sexuality, reproduction, children

Hermeneutic phenomenology is a research method used in qualitative research in the fields of education and other human sciences, for example nursing science. It is a widely used method example in Scandinavia, and Van Manen is well known for his hermeneutic phenomenological method. In many studies the hermeneutic phenomenological method is inarticulate or ambiguous. Researchers generally lack a common understanding of what this method actually is. One reason for that is that the expression “hermeneutic phenomenological method” is contradiction in terms. Hermeneutics and phenomenology have their own distinct history. Hermeneutics and phenomenology as philosophical disciplines have their own distinct aims and orientations. Hermeneutic is orientated to historical and relative meanings. Phenomenology in Husserlian sense is orientated to universal and absolute essences. Martin Heidegger connects hermeneutics and phenomenology in very sophisticated manner as hermeneutical phenomenology and he provides a very specific definition of his brand of phenomenology. For Heidegger, hermeneutical phenomenology is the research of the meaning of the Being as a fundamental ontology. However, this kind of phenomenology is of no use for educational qualitative research.
