The study was aimed at scrutinizing the effects of the Public Service Awareness Messages about breast cancer detection among women in terms of developing precautionary measures for the life-threatening disease in order to fight against it before time. Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among the women around the world and especially in Pakistan. The study has been carried out with a survey with 300 women of Lahore, Pakistan and found that Public Service Awareness Messages have been significantly perceived by them. PSAMs are important tool for providing information and spreading awareness regarding the disease. The fear appeal of the messages changed the behavior of the viewers for taking precautionary measures. Public Service Awareness Messages regarding healthcare make people conscious about their health and they believe that precautionary measures can prevent the dreadful comings of this disease.

Breast Cancer is the most dangerous and life threatening disease. Of all kinds of cancers, Breast cancer is the second major cause of deaths and especially the first major cause of deaths in women. In this project, images are taken from medical representativess in order to implement a real time project. This methodology aims at diagnosing Breast Cancer at an earlier stage by considering progressive algorithms. In this methodology, a mammogram image is considered. To this image sample, image segmentation technique is applied which separates fore-ground regions from the background regions. Later, Binarization technique is used to enrich the contrast of the image in order to make it more desirable for finding the tumour cell location within the affected area. Median filter is used for removing noise within the image. To the noise free images, some statistical parameters viz., mean, variance, Standard deviation, Mean Square error and entropy are calculated to analyze the performance

The study analyses strategies and persuasive appeals in the public service messages aired on Pakistani TV channels during 2016-2018, that measures the effects of PSMs on audience behaviour. The PSMs fails to deliver messages due to dissimilar socio-economic backdrop and scope of the audience understanding. The purposive sampling of six selected PSM is on the bases of health themed PSM’s. Objective is to investigate the characteristics of ads, role of the message, major health issues, sources of the message and appeals. The AIDA model, persuasion theory and social responsibility theory used to filter the textual analysis of the selected PSMs. It was found that the PSMs presented health issues while using celebrity endorsement and persuasive message appeals as persuasive techniques. The PSMs such as breast cancer persuaded women for self-care, calcium deficiency PSM to calcium intakes, heat stroke PSM to precautionary measures during emergency situations, the malnutrition PSM to women healthy diet during pregnancy. The study recommends that advertisers, producers and TV channels should adopt audience perception based important strategies for social welfare, while the state must promote them.

Abstract The significance of background parenchymal enhancement (BPE) on screening and diagnostic breast MRI continues to be elucidated. Background parenchymal enhancement was initially deemed probably benign and followed or thought of as an artifact degrading the accuracy of breast cancer detection on breast MRI examinations. Subsequent research has focused on understanding the role of BPE regarding screening breast MRI. Today, there is growing evidence that a myriad of factors affect BPE, which in turn may influence patient outcomes. Additionally, BPE could represent an important risk factor for the future development of breast cancer. This article aims to describe the most up-to-date research on BPE as it relates to screening breast MRI in premenopausal women.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women. The key to surviving breast cancer is early detection and treatment. Current technologies rely heavily on imaging of the breast, and although considered the gold standard, they have their limitations. There is a need for a more accurate screening test for women of all ages, which can detect the cancer at a cellular level and before metastasis. There have been extensive studies into markers for breast cancer including protein and nucleic acid biomarkers, but to date, these have been unsuccessful. A growing field of interest is the association between breast cancer (tissue and cells) and lipids, which is documented in the literature, and may be considered as a leading candidate in the breast cancer detection space.
