Objective Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is regarded as the commonest and one of most known inflammatory arthritis. Our study was to determine the effects of laser therapy and laser acupuncture therapy on RA elderly patients. Subjects and Methods Forty patients with age of 65 to 75 years were being randomly allocated to 2 groups. Group(A) included twenty participants having RA treated via low level laser therapy. Group(B) included twenty participants having RA treated via laser acupuncture. All the patients underwent treatment by methotrexate. Treatments were provided three times each week to the two groups for twelve weeks.Independent laboratory technician and statistician were blinded to the study groups. Results There was significant reduction in scores of RAQoL questionnaire pre as well as post treatments for both the groups, with p<0.05. For HAQ questionnaire, significant difference was in the group treated with laser acupuncture. The IL-6 inflammatory marker had a significant reduction in pre as well as post treatments in only the group treated with laser acupuncture, with p < 0.05. In the MDA marker, it had a significant reduction in both groups for pre as well as post treatments. There was also a significant increase to the ATP antioxidant marker in pre as well as post treatments for both the groups, p<0.05. Conclusions This study suggested that the laser acupuncture can offer promising therapeutic benefits to assess in rheumatoid arthritis treatments; those therapeutic effects might be from inflammation reduction and oxidation stress alleviation, in addition to improvements in the antioxidants and energy status for RA patients.


Molecular testing and the development of targeted therapies have revolutionized the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Despite the advantages of molecular testing in patients with NSCLC and guideline recommendations, there is no specific standard testing method, resulting in variable testing practices based on institution protocol and access. Pharmacists can help to improve coordination of care around appropriate testing as results are important in determining the most appropriate targeted treatment course. The majority of patients with NSCLC are tested for PD-L1, EGFR, ALK, ROS1, and BRAF mutations. These biomarkers and their corresponding targeted therapies are more understood than the remaining biomarkers, such as KRAS, RET, MET exon 14 (METex14), and NTRK. Multiple new and emerging therapies target these latter biomarkers, and this article will focus on these lesser-known biomarkers. As the treatment of NSCLC becomes increasingly biomarker-driven and more therapies are added to the armamentarium for the management of NSCLC, pharmacists will be called upon to assist the oncology care team to optimize NSCLC treatment to improve patient outcomes.

The security refers to online transaction safety. The previous researchers suggest that the lack of security on the website will make the customers to have doubt or serious concern about their credit card transactions and privacy of personal information to avoid cybercrimes.In spite of comfort and advantages of online shopping, e-commerce poses a few demanding situations and concerns amongst consumers on security and privateness problems. Thus, this phase intends to identify degree of situation in regards to these issues. In widespread, slightly extra than half of on-line buyers claimed that they are problem on safety and privacy at the same time as buying online. The regression analysis indicates fraud and security was found to have significant at 5% significant level (sig, t = 0.004). This study applies observational investigation and concentrates on two primary variables which foreign direct investment and tourism. Information from 1991 to 2019 was gathered from World Bank to focus the relationship among the variables. The tests used to decipher this result are Stationary Test, Co-integration Test, Vector Error Correction Model and Granger Causality test. First, the Stationary Test focused on the Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) test was measuring about the time series data’s stationary property. VECM similarly observed the relationship between the variables over time. Finally, the Granger Causality Test was performed to look at the causal relationship between the two variables which is the relationship between foreign direct investment and tourism

Brain tumour detection is very popular in the area of medical image processing. This is due to the sensitivity of brain functionality and inter structure. Any kind of ignorance towards the problems related with brain may cause serious impact on human life/life style. Therefore, early detection or diagnosis of abnormalities or tumours helps the doctors and patients to rectify the brain related health problems. The images are obtained through scanning techniques which are very common. Images obtained from the scanning needs to be segmented carefully for the future analysis and damage control procedures. In this paper, a detailed review on different types of segmentation techniques proposed by various authors is studied and compared for a clear understanding of existing segmentation techniques. They are tabulated to summarize different methodologies, segmentation techniques, and existing processes for further studies on Brain image segmentation. Finally, a brief understanding towards deep learning techniques is studied in this paper to understand their role in modern era for automated segmentation process
