The Academic Management System of Higher Education is a component of the Institutional Management System of Higher Education, which is concerned with the overall management tools that have been designed and compiled in a systematic and rigorous manner. Nowadays, as technology advances and student generations change, educational institutions are encouraged to continually respond to the use of technology in their service systems. The aim of this thesis is to identify and interpret research results relating to academic management system alignment. A descriptive qualitative approach is used in this research. According to the findings of the study, while universities do have an institutional management scheme in place, its execution is not optimal. Universities do have an Academic Management System in place, but it is not yet fully implemented. The academic Management System also has some elements missing, such as academic calendar scheduling, new student placement, new and old student enrollment, classes, grading, thesis instruction, and graduation. Keywords: Academic Management System, Technology, universities.

Companies constantly thrive to enhance their performance in order to achieve their environmental, social, and economic goals. One way to achieve these goals is to integrate some effective management tools, such as an environmental management system (EMS), that can support sustainable development and value creation. Based on the literature, in this study some EMS integration dimensions were identified that can be used to assess its influence on business performance. The study was conducted on SMEs listed on the AeRO-Bucharest Stock Exchange that voluntary apply the ISO 14001 EMS, using a quantitative approach. To assess the EMS integration score, principal component analysis was used. Using logistic regression analysis, business performance probability (quantified by return on assets) was estimated for each company included in the final sample. Fuzzy logic was further used for modelling the influence of EMS integration on business performance probability. The research results showed that EMS integration has different effects on business performance probability, considering the influence of activity field and environmental management experience. This research assertion could be extended for all the listed Romanian companies or for major companies at the EU level.

IGraciass is an integrated academic and non-academic management information system from the Telkom Education Foundation (YPT). Based on the vision and mission, the strategy and tagline of the Telkom Education Foundation is "The Leader of ICT Education Provider" and the spirit of digital transformation for Indonesia, I-Graciass must be adopted and implemented in all higher education institutions (lemdikti) under the auspices. The YPT. However, the facts on the ground the adoption and implementation process of I[1]Graciass in each of these higher education institutions are not easy matters. Many features, ease of use of technology and the system interface needed to access the system are important factors in the success of the system. For this reason, this research was conducted with the aim of facilitating the adoption process of IGraciass in all higher education institutions of the Telkom Education Foundation (YPT) according to the respective needs of the educational institutions under the auspices of YPT. This research was carried out using the mixing method both qualitatively and quantitatively, then the researcher also developed a qualitative research instrument to conduct a survey of the users to determine which channels were effective in the process of transferring knowledge. The results show that to minimize the risk of failure in adopting a knowledge management system, companies need to select a system based on the functional, non-functional and transition requirements for the system, as well as the strength and capacity of the organization.

The market for the next-generation learning management system (LMS) for higher education is poised to grow by the US $3.04 billion during 2020-2024 (MarketWatch, 2020), creating technological opportunities in the higher education learning landscape particularly due to growth in remote learning due to COVID-19 pandemic. This rapid growth necessitates an urgent need to integrate technology with the instructional design in academic programs at the Higher Educational Institutes (HEIs) globally.  The existing literature on the LMS suggests a considerable resistance among the instructor group towards technology adoption in pedagogic strategy.  LMS has been in existence for almost two decades, however, they have not been leveraged to their full potential. An understanding of the nature of technology adoption among instructor group is even more pronounced for the HEIs of emerging market economies (EMEs). An efficient and technology-inspired educational construct will boost the overall competitiveness of the EME's in their respective population skill development and attracting foreign investments for industrial growth. Moreover, given the lessons learned from the epidemiological uncertainties, such as most recently, the COVID-19 pandemic, educators should be prepared to utilize LMS to their full potential. The purpose of this study is to investigate the barriers and motivators in LMS adoption among emerging market economy HEIs and to propose a technology adoption model based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (V. Venkatesh et. al., 2012). The results of this study suggest implementing a dynamic feedback mechanism of technology adoption by instructors, and the need for HEIs to articulate strategic plan goals that focus on faculty professional development in the use of technology to build confidence among instructor group to enable the adoption of technology for instruction.

Approaches to identification and analysis of risks and opportunities are considered using the example of an educational organization. The article presents the tools for identifying risks and opportunities that are used at different stages of risk management in an educational organization. The main approaches necessary for the functioning of the quality management system are highlighted. The application of basic risk management tools is considered. Examples of criteria for assessing the likelihood of risk occurrence - a typical scale of risk probability - are given. The results of testing the tools and methods for identifying risks and opportunities in an educational organization, presented in the article, can be used by specialists in quality management in higher education institutions.

The aim and objective of this research is to get a better understanding on the knowledge management system (KMS) practices and perception within higher education institutions (HEIs). This research will focus on three main aspects. The first aspect will be on identifying management tools used at the organizational level. Second, will be the supportive and hindrance factors on the adoption of KMS and the user perception and practices of KMS in the institution. A mix of methodologies is adapted to generate findings for this research. Both quantitative and qualitative methods will be used for this research through a questionnaire approach. The questionnaire is constructed in such a way that closed-ended questions and open-ended questions are included. The research has led to several important outcomes for the implementation of KMS in HEIs. This study has proposed a conceptual framework and support from other research outcomes (i.e., identification of the management tools used, the support and barriers for implementation, and user perception and practices for the KMS implementations).
