This study aims to develop and test the validity of a module on enhancing students' collaboration, critical thinking (2Cs) and writing skills. To develop the module, the researcher used ADDIE model which incorporates five primary phases, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The study used a tryout group which incorporated 20 participants who studied English at The General Foundation Program at a private college in Oman. The study employed a pretest-posttest quasiexperimental design. Paired Samples t-Test was used to compare the mean scores of both tests. Apropos of module validity, a total of 5 experts validated the module. The findings revealed that there is a statistically significant mean difference between the participants' scores in both the pretest and posttest. Further, it was found that the module has good validity and reliability.

Critical thinking (CT) is essential in many higher-order thinking skills and should be enhanced by higher education programs. The Model of Integrated Thinking Skills (MITS) was developed to help students developing CT, assist educators teaching CT, and satisfy the following three criteria: 1) completely and objectively describe CT, 2) distinguish CT from other skills, and 3) be used by all disciplines.  A validation survey determined how MITS is perceived with respect to the three criteria.  Most participants perceived that MITS meets the three criteria, suggesting that MITS can assist student development of CT.

The study aimed at developing and validating the mathematics test for 10th –grade students according to the Rasch partial credit model (PCM) by using the descriptive approach as it is appropriate for the study aims. To achieve the study's objective, what constructed the essay type test consisted of 25 items based on the (IRT) according to the Rasch PCM. what conducted the first administration of the test to verify the validity and reliability of the test. To verify the "face validity" of the test's objectives, they were presented to a group of 12 arbitrators who work as teachers and educational supervisors. They found that the contents are representative of the level of the goal, which is pursuing in theory. The empirical reliability was calculated for the test, where the value of person reliability reached 0.91. Moreover, the items reached 0.93. The study population consisted of all 10th-grade students at the schools belonging to the “Directorate of Education of Irbid District,” whose numbers were 7365, represented by 3612 male students, and 3753 female students. According to the class regarding their sex (gender), a sample according to a cluster as the test unit was the class section. The sample size of the study was 250 male and female students. According to the PCM, this study's findings have brought several issues concerning the mathematics subject achievement by verifying the tests and reliability and accomplishing the IRT's suppositions.

Reciprocal teaching is one of learning model which is consist of four strategies: summarizing, questioning, claryfying the knowladge, and predicting. Another type of cooperative learning is jigsaw models. Jigsaw is a cooperative learing model which create some expert learning groups to stimulate critical thinking of the student abilities. Jigsaw is a learning model that triggers student to have active role in group learning. This study was to know the effect of Reciprocal Teaching with Jigsaw learning model on student critical learning ability is important to be exposure because its study shows that the 10th grade high school students had a low critical thinking abilities. As pre-test and post-test statistical data showed the influence of prior knowledge on learning result has significance points of 0,443 > 0,05., so it can be conclude that the data is significant. Based on the data, there are influence between the prior knowledge to the crtitical thinking ability result. According to the statistical data, the influence of learning models on learning results has significance points of 0,060 > 0,05., so it can be conclude that there are diffrence effect in critical thinking ability by using Reciprocal teaching vs Jigsaw models. Based on the data, the significance points are 0,126 > 0,05., it indicates that the students learning results data is valid or significant and it can be conclude that there are some interaction between Reciprocal teaching with Jigsaw model learning method and aperception knowledge on the learning result of 10th grade student critical thinking ability at Islam Parlaungan High School Waru and Al-Muslim High School Waru.
