This review contains analysis and generalization of data about aquatic ecotoxicity of metal nanoparticles study. This study showed the effect of their impact on the viability of protozoa, algae, microbial communities. A multi-level approach proves to be important as it considers the main characteristics of the studied materials: solubility, agglomeration, degradation. The transformation in the aquatic environment is important in the study of aquatic ecotoxicity. For assessing the state of environment in ecotoxicological experiments, the Great Daphnia (Daphnia magna) was used as a critical organism of the freshwater ecosystem, due to its high sensitivity to environmental pollution, small body size, and short lifespan. In this regard, numerous studies on the effect of nanoparticles on the state of aquatic ecosystem are carried out on Daphnia magna. The review presents some methodological approaches to test the toxicity of nanoparticles in aquatic environment and assessing their stability. It is proposed to carry out a total assessment of the effect based on the content of pollutants in water with different toxic potentials, given that organisms, including aquatic organisms, are rarely exposed to certain chemicals. A promising approach to the assessment of cytotoxicity is high-throughput screening (HTS), which offers the opportunity to quickly test the effects of nanoparticles on bacteria in parallel in several concentrations. Algae are the most important participants in ecosystem and main components of the food chain. It allows recommending them as a marker when monitoring the environmental pollution by metal nanoparticles. Particular attention is paid to perspectives for further wider use of nanostructured products as adsorbents in wastewater treatment and recultivation processes. Search and selection of sources for review carried out in open databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar and RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index) for 2007 - 2018 period.

The review conducted research of the Russian and foreign literature of recent years on the methods of using photo and video recording in dentistry in the databases of the Russian Science Citation Index, SCOPUS, Web of Science, Pubmed and others. The data of the possibilities of using the method of registration of the dental status and the state of the tissues of the oral cavity using photo and video fixation in the diagnosis, treatment and observation of patients are presented.

In the framework of the Risk Assessment procedure for the ecotoxicological evaluation of compounds used in the aquatic environment, tests with target species must be carried out. This paper reports the results concerning the evaluation of the acute toxicity of F-500 micelle encapsulator (Hazard Control Technologies Inc., Fayetteville, GA, USA) on cladocerans Daphnia magna, with the purpose to verify its compatibility for the aquatic environment and its adequacy for the remediation of soils polluted with hydrocarbons. The obtained results show that by adding F-500 to diesel-polluted soils, the toxicity on Daphnia magna decreases remarkably, indicating the usefulness of this compound to fight the environmental pollution consequent to hydrocarbon dumping.

Studies on stressor responses are often performed in controlled laboratory settings. The microbial communities in laboratory setting often differ from the natural environment, which could ultimately be reflected in different stress responses. In this study, we investigated how stressor responses differed between laboratory and natural conditions in Daphnia magna when exposed to single or multiple stressors. Daphnia individuals were exposed to the toxic cyanobacterium Microcystis aeruginosa and a fungal infection, Aspergillus aculeatus like type. Three genotypes were included to investigate genotype-specific responses. Survival, reproduction and body size were monitored for three weeks and gut microbial communities were sampled and characterized at the end of the experiment. Our study shows that natural environments have a more diverse microbial community compared with laboratory conditions, which was ultimately reflected in the gut microbiomes after inoculation. Stressor responses in Daphnia were affected by their bacterial environment for survival, but not for fecundity and body size. Fecuntiy and body size did show a main stressor effect, which could possibly be linked with stessor-specific microbiomes (for Microcystis and the combined stressor treatment). In addition, genotype-specific responses were detected for survival and fecundity, which could be linked with the selective capabilities of the Daphnia genotypes to select beneficial or neutral microbial stains from the environment.

This research is aimed to analyze and determine the 16th provision principle of the declaration on environment and development, namely the polluter pays principle, as one of the state’s form of accountability towards the polluting across borders between PTTEP Australia and Indonesia. This is a juridical research, which analyzes the issue discussed through the use of many realted sources. The Polluter Pyas Principle, as a form of State responsibility in environmental pollution, has some advantages and disadvantages when applied as a recommendation by the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development). From a legal perspective, this principle can be applied as a civil liability law, whereas from an economic perspective, it can be viewed as effort to control pollution by means which the polluter has an obligation to pay for the environmental pollution that he/she caused. Even so this principle also has its weakness, in an economic approach this principle is difficult to determine the determination of the cost of loss. In some countries themselves have applied this principle in handling cases of environmental pollution. In the case of cross-border environmental pollution, the principle of good neighborliness and the principle of state responsibility in dealing with pollution cases as a sign of State’s goodwill to comply with existing international law. The case of environmental pollution itself is not only the State that can sue, but a group of people or the community can also sue, if they feel harmed by the pollution that occurs. One of them is by carrying out Class Action in holding accountable for the consequences of pollution that has occurred, and is detrimental to a group or large number of people. Even though international environmental law is a soft law, it can become hard law depending on the pollution case that occurs. Even so, International Environmental Law contained in the Stockholm Declaration, Rio de Jeneiro, Civil Liability Convention and other related international arrangements have been very good in their regulatory fields. Only the state which ratifies the convention applies according to the pollution case that occurs.
