Purpose: The objective of this study was to assess the influence of strategic management practices and organization performance of deposit taking SACCOs  in Kericho county.Methodology: The study was based on a descriptive research with population of the study being sampled from DT-SACCOs in Kericho County. The study adopted a census sampling technique; thus, the sample size for the study was 80 personnel drawn from the 8 SACCOS operating in Kericho County. The study further utilized primary and secondary data. The research relied on questionnaires in collecting primary data. The study used SPSS 24 in the analysis. The data was analyzed using means, standard deviation, correlation matrix and regression models. This was presented using charts, figures and tables.Results: The findings of the research indicated that there is a positive effect of strategic management practices on the organization performance. The correlation results indicated that employee competency and organization structure had a strong effect on the performance of the SACCOs.Distinctive contribution to theory, practice and policy contribution: The study recommends that the organization should strive to enhance the professional development of the staff members as this will enhance the overall employee productivity. The research further recommends that the financial institutions should engage the personnel in

This study aims to determine the effect of customer satisfaction on buyer loyalty at Green Mart in Namrolesupermarkets. This research is quantitative. This research took place in the city of Namrole with the object of research at the Green Mart Supermarket. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques in this research were survey and literature study. Sampling was done by non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis in this study used regression analysis. This analysis is used to examine the effect of customer satisfaction on loyalty. The results showed that customer satisfaction has a positive effect on loyalty. This implies that, if customer satisfaction increases, loyalty also tends to increase, if a customer is satisfied with the value provided by the products sold and the services received from Supermarkets, Green Mart is very likely to become loyal customers to Supermarkets. Green Mart for a long time. However, if customer satisfaction decreases, loyalty tends to decrease. Increased customer satisfaction is influenced by several factors, including the product and quality of products sold by various stores and according to the market tastes of shop consumers, friendliness, speed of service, and ease of transactions.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational behavior on improving employee productivity at the Library and Archives Service of Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population of this study were 41 people in the Office of Library and Archives of Sidenreng Rappang Regency aged 17 years and over. The sample in this study were 39 employees in the Department of Library and Archives, based on the sampling technique saturated with this type of research is descriptive quantitative. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the influence of organizational behavior on the increase in work productivity of employees at the Office of Library and Archives of Sidenreng Rappang Regency, it turns out that the value of t count ≥ t table or 4.493 ≥ 2.026, and a significant level of 0.000. then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that it has a significant effect on increasing work productivity (Y). Y) with a yield of 39.8%. While the remaining 100% - 39.8% = 60.2% (influenced by other factors) which are not included in this study. So that 39.8% is still classified as low organizational behavior towards increasing the work productivity of employees at the Library and Archives Office of Sidenteng Rappang Regency.

This study aims to see the effect of branchless banking on financial inclusion. The sample in this study amounted to 96 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques using primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data. This study uses a regression test to test the hypothesis. This study found that branchless banking has a positive effect on the financial inclusion of the people of Kampar Regency, Riau.

Abstract. This descriptive research was conducted at Rantau Kopar village, Rokan Hilir District from January to June 2017. The reason for this study is due to the drastic declining of biodiversity of fish species at Rangau river despite the existence the local wisdom to protect the watershed in the area. It is aimed to discover the perspectives local wisdom in preventing the decreasing of fish biodiversity at Rangau river. The employed sampling technique was snowball technic sampling which involved 30 respondents. The primary data were obtained using observation and interview; the secondary data (documents). Data consist of community composition, livelihood, community participation in preserving the local wisdom, the synergy between the local wisdom and the policies of the local administration. The data were computed in percentage and were analyzed descriptively. The findings demonstrated that the local wisdom was compiled by the local community whose livelihood as fishermen. Conversely, in 2017, the local people did not comply with both sanction and the local customary law, there had been careless exploitation of the water across the watershed to be oil palm plantation area and the increasing number of oil palm farmers. This study concludes that the main threat facing the local wisdom is that the policies of local administration are not synergic with the local wisdom as stipulated in the regulations and conservation of the area across the watershed of Rangau. The implication of this study is used for the supplementary materials for the bioetnomalay subject in the Indonesian education

Bogor city has a natural phenomenon as a tourist destination. Therefore, until now when entering the holiday period, Bogor City is always crowded by tourists. To promote tourism in the city of Bogor, it is necessary necessary facilities that can support such as hospitality industry. The existence of hospitality industry in the city of Bogor becomes a very big attraction for tourists both for the purpose of seeking entertainment or for business purposes. Based on information obtained by tourists on the existence of tourist destinations in the city of Bogor, the tourists are interested to travel by spending time and money to satisfy curiosity.This research is conducted to learn more with the formulation of the problem as the factors of what hospitals can satisfy tourists who visit the city of Bogor?The research approach used in this research is quantitative approach. While this type of research is descriptive research. Descriptive research aims to describe or describe a research object.Technique of taking data using primary and secondary data. Primary data were taken using questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed to 100 travelers with sampling technique of cluster sampling, at Bogor Botanical Garden object, Taman Hat / Taman Ade Irma Suryani and Suryakencana Culinary Tour. Data were analyzed using factor analysis.Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that of the 24 most influential community hospital factors on tourist visit in Bogor City can be grouped into 7 components or variables.

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of schizophrenia in patients in the Inpatient Room of Soeprapto Special Base Hospital of Bengkulu Province.The method used is descriptive research design with cross sectional approach. Data were collected using primary and secondary data, primary data obtained from the questionnaires to the 67 families of patients treated in inpatient Special Hospital Mental Soeprapto Bengkulu province, while secondary data is taken from the patient's medical record. The sampling technique is by proportional random sampling technique. The analysis showed the majority of respondents, 39  who suffered from schizophrenia, the majority of respondents, 15 contained genetic factors, the majority of respondents, 24 Which there are psychosocial factors, and some of the respondents are 24 people that there are environmental factors. The results of the bivariate analysis showed no significant relationship between genetic schizophrenia in patients in the inpatient unit Special Hospital Mental Soeprapto Bengkulu province, there is a significant relationship between psychosocial with schizophrenia in patients in the inpatient unit Special Hospital Mental Soeprapto Bengkulu province, and there are A significant relationship between the environment and schizophrenia in patients in the inpatient rooms of Soeprapto Special Base Hospital of Bengkulu Province. ELECTRONIC BANKING ADOPTION AND FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF COMMERCIAL BANKS IN KENYA, NAIROBI CITY COUNTY   1*Priscah Jepchumba 1Post Graduate Student: Kenyatta University *Corresponding Author’s Email: [email protected] 2 Dr.Eddie Simiyu Lecturer: Kenyatta University   Abstract Purpose: This research was done to establish how e- banking adoption has improved the financial performance of commercial banks in Kenya. Methods: The study used descriptive research design and structured questionnaires to collect data.The target population was all the 41 commercial banks in Nairobi. The sampling design was census where general managers and credit managers were targeted in Nairobi headquarters. The source of data was primary and secondary data; Primary data was collected from source through questionnaires while secondary data was sourced from annual central bank reports, bank financial statements as well as periodical journals and reports. Results: The findings of the study has indicated that most of the respondents had served the banking industry for a period of at least five years and education level of at least a college diploma.  The study also rejected all the null hypotheses and concluded that electronic banking has positive effect on financial performance of commercial banks.  The study has contributed to knowledge through provision of scholarly literature on electronic banking and financial performance of commercial banks in Kenya. Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: The study’s recommendation to management is to implement strategies which: increase Speed in Electronic Services, increase investments in Electronic banking,  promote training programs to employees and adopt suitable techniques to reduce  threats to e-banking.  The study’s recommendation is that a similar research should be conducted with a moderating or mediating variable in the same industry.

This research aims to determine the management procedures, incoming and outgoing mail in the Department ofPopulation and Civil Registration Tanah Datar. This research was a descriptive research with qualitative methods.The types of data used in this study were a primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used:observation, interviews, and documentation. Technique authenticity of data used triangulation techniques.Determination of informants of this research used purposive sampling technique. The results of this research weremanagement procedures, incoming and outgoing mail was not optimal for the management of the mail was not inaccordance with the guidelines used by the Department of Population and Civil Registration Tanah Datar. Obstaclesencountered in the management letter that was often receive supplementary letter, the rediscovery of the archiverequires a long time, and archival storage room was not yet available. From these results Office of Population andCivil Registration Tanah Datar, it is advisable to carry out management activities in accordance with the letter of theguidelines have been used, as well as an effective complementary equipment in the rediscovery of the archives, andheld a special space for archive storage.Keywords: Procedures, Inbox, and Outgoing Mail

Purpose- This study focused on establishing the influence of voting in elections on responsive governance in Kenya. Its main objective was to establish the influence of voting in elections on responsive governance in Kenya. Methodology- Descriptive research design and positivism research philosophy were adopted. The study focused on a target population of 680 respondents from Eighty-five wards within Nairobi County, and data was collected from the following groups of respondents; Civil society representative, religious representative, ward administration representative, youth representative, women representative, the special interest group representative, a representative of the citizens’ anticipating county services and a representative of the old aged residents were targeted. A sample size of 139 respondents was determined though purposive sampling technique. Primary data was collected through questionnaires and secondary data through published materials. Data was analysed through SPSS and presented in tables. Hypothesis testing was done through the use of t-test. F test (ANOVA) was also conducted to ascertain the difference between groups on study variable. Findings- The study found that voting in elections has a positive and significant relationship with responsive governance. The study concluded that that citizen’s education influences their ability and decision to vote in leaders who are effective in service delivery. The study also concluded that incumbent leader performance influences achievement of county goals. Based on the study findings, the researcher recommends that there is need to establish, County, Sub-County and Ward Citizens Forums to enhance voter awareness of residents in local governance. The forums will specifically enable citizens to engage directly in the planning, policy making and monitoring of service delivery accorded to them. Originality/value – This paper fulfils an identified need in understanding how voting in elections can influence responsive governance. The study therefore recommends that all citizens should be empowered and given the rights to vote in their desired leader. Additionally, free and fair elections should be conducted to ensure that candidates with clear manifestos are elected.

The study sought to establish the effect of managerial autonomy on performance of project based non-governmental organizations in Kenya. Dynamic Capability theory guided the study. The study adopted a descriptive research design and positivism philosophy A total of 114 project based NGOs formed the study sample size. The study narrowed down the scope to those NGOs whose headquarters are in Nairobi due to the perceived heterogeneity of the same and the centrality of the location. The respondents included top, middle and lower cadre executives. The study employed the use of a structured questionnaire to collect primary data. A regression model was used to test the degree and respective significance of the association between the study variables. Managerial autonomy was conceptualized of political influence, security of tenure was found not to have a weak positive effect on organizational performance as measured by completion time, relevance/ suits purpose, sustainability and budget. The study concluded managerial autonomy will result to better organization performance.
