This research examines the attitude of faculty lectors, Information Technology students (IT) and humanitarian students (HS) towards the aspects of forced distance learning (DL) due to Covid-19. About 70% of the surveyed IT students and 50% of HS believe that DL can fully replace face-to-face classes and completely switch to DL, about 70% of lecturers have the opposite opinion. At the same time, IT had a 4.5 times higher chance of a positive attitude towards the transition to DL than HS. The majority of all respondents consider that their own notes are important and that classroom learning is better than online. At the same time, among IT that are ready to switch to DL, 69.03% believe that the perception of educational material is better in the classroom. Fewer IT students (30.1%) than HS (68.2%) and lecturers (100%) consider that printed textbooks are important. About 70-90% of students consider that the following DL disadvantages are important: communication difficulties, cocial isolation, the need of self-discipline and self-motivation and fears that the employer will not appreciate the knowledge gained from DL. This paper aims to identify the importance of Information Technology businesses and youth’s interest in entrepreneurial initiatives in connection with IT based businesses. The data was collected using questionnaire from final year students of entrepreneurship and computer sciences enrolled in Bachelors, so as to get a profound picture of their intention, motivation and ability to enter in IT related entrepreneurial ventures. As descriptive statistics was used to analyze the findings, the study depicts great motivation among final year graduates to enter in entrepreneurial ventures. They are found to be motivated to establish ventures of their own even at small level. Therefore, SMEs can play vital role in assisting and fostering entrepreneurial activity with special focus on Information Technology businesses. In addition, the research limitation could be the fact that data has been collected from top universities/ institutes in which intellect level of students is competitively high, thus their liking to entre and understanding regarding SMEs and entrepreneurial initiatives is better than students of ordinary institutes. Also, the results could have been deviated if same research was applied in countries with varying demographics.As for Practical Implementations the research may be vital for SMEs officials to foresee the entrepreneurial spirit among youth and to design policies accordingly. Also, it opens horizons for information Technology students to consider entrepreneurial careers other than simply applying for jobs in software houses/ organizations. Also, no prior research has been carried out in analyzing the mutual relation of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology businesses, neither the outcome/ joint effect of both has been studied together.

The training of future doctors should be continuous and organized at a high level, because medicine is one of the priority spheres of society. With the introduction of quarantine in the context of a pandemic, the question of changing the format of classes has become especially acute, which is associated with the need to exclude massive concentrations of medical students. In our academy, in the first days of quarantine, communication was organized by groups in the Viber and Telegram messengers. In the following days, training was carried out on the use of the Zоm service platform for video conferencing, online meetings and distance learning, and trainings were organized. The department’s website contained the contact information of all teachers, the schedule of classes, the thematic plan of lectures and practical classes, a list of basic and additional literature for students of each course. In the materials for downloading, students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with multimedia presentations of lectures, teaching aids developed by the staff of the department, methodological recommendations on all topics of practical exercises according to the thematic plan. It should be noted that new educational technologies contribute to the improvement of information competence, allow students to independently master the educational material, but training a doctor in practical skills requires the student’s traditional face-to-face contact with teachers and patients.

Time and space no longer separate learners from their instructors. The emergence of distance-learning technologies, especially the Internet and networking technologies connect learners with their instructors. Instructional resources such as training courses, instructional job aids, reference materials, training guides, and lesson plans, as well as teachers, trainers, and other learners that were traditionally available for traditional classroom settings are now attainable via distance-learning technologies by anyone, anywhere, and anytime. As the growth of new information in the digital age accelerates (Gagne, Wager, Golas, & Keller, 2005), the debate revolving around distance-learning essentials has become even more heated among the academic circles. One side of the debate, represented by senior faculty, indicates that distance learning is inferior to traditional classroom learning because it lacks the necessary “face-to-face” interaction. The other side of the debate, representing current researchers and junior faculty, contends that distance learning is no better or no worse than traditional learning, given the fact that distance learning offers both advantages and disadvantages. The same thing is true about traditional classroom learning, which also offers benefits and disadvantages. Regardless of the debate, distance learning is revolutionizing education and training, along with so many other aspects of our lives (Gagne, et al., 2005). Open any job ads for a faculty position and there must be a description requiring a potential faculty member to be able to use distance-learning technologies. Those faculty members who cannot use distance-learning technologies are truly at a disadvantage nowadays.

The ethical crisis in business and information technology is very real. Countering this crisis by creating organizational cultures grounded in moral character is the challenge people face as leaders if they are to regain the respect and confidence of the public. As educators of future business and information technology leaders, how can educators prepare their students to understand, appreciate, and contribute to the establishment of cultures of character in the organizations which employ them—and which they may ultimately lead? In this article the authors distinguish among four corporate cultures with respect to ethics —cultures of defiance, compliance, neglect, and character—and present a blueprint for constructing an organizational culture grounded in moral character. With respect to showing students how to contribute to such a culture, the authors then (a) describe how to establish an effective learning context for teaching about ethics, (b) proffer a number of practical suggestions for student assignments and experiences that can empower students to understand, appreciate, and contribute to organizational cultures of character, and (c) explain how to enhance experiential learning by conducting an effective debriefing session. The authors conclude the article by providing three examples from their own experience illustrating how these ideas can be incorporated into programs designed to show business and information technology students how to contribute to organizational cultures grounded in moral character.

Lack of new business and jobs has led unemployed issues. This problem can be settled by increasing the number of new technopreneurs, entrepreneurs creating new business and jobs through technological innovations. The study is to find out technopreneurship talent of the students of faculty of engineering, agriculture engineering and information technology of Universitas Andalas. Then, they are compared by four criteria or dimensions: [1] Entrepreneurial Characteristics, [2] Absorptive Capacity, [3] Knowledge and Learning Skills, [4] Business and Communication Skills. A set of indicators is developed for each criterion and assessed qualitatively using questioners as tool. The assessments are carried out in three stages: indicators, criteria, and technopreneur talent assessment. Attitudes measurement technique is used for indicators assessment while Weighted Sum Model [WSM] is used for criteria and technopreneur talent assessment. The overall technopreneur talent assessments show that engineering students are relatively better with information technology students and agriculture engineering students are adept in some aspects of technopreneurship.
