Applications of Information System (IS) have been instrumental in achieving Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Decision Support Systems (DSS) is an IS application that aids in decision making processes for many business concepts and CRM is one of them. CRM depends on firm’s tasks for developing and retaining customers while achieving their satisfaction and enhancing sense of belongingness for their products and services. Profit maximization, process of customer value and building strategic values for the firm are the three empirical benefits of CRM that are achieved through analytical, operational, and direction capabilities respectively. This research focus on applications of DSS models for CRM at analytical, operational and directional level (AOD). Three online retail firms of KSA are referred as data source for the analysis of CRM by DSS models. The research determined how a customer-oriented firm uses DSS to attain CRM and profitability at three levels namely; Analytical, Operational and Strategic.

This chapter introduces the framework and causal model of customer value, customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and customer relationship management performance in terms of the innovative manufacturing and marketing solutions. It argues that dimensions of customer value, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty have mediated positive effect on customer relationship management performance. Furthermore, brand loyalty positively mediates the relationships between customer value and customer relationship management performance and between customer satisfaction and customer relationship management performance. Customer value is positively correlated with customer satisfaction. Understanding the theoretical learning is beneficial for organizations aiming to increase customer relationship management performance and achieve business goals.

Various studies on customer relationship management are carried out with the arrival of the new economy because intensified competitions among companies highlight the unprecedented importance of the customers. Based on the literature review of previous researches, the authors first put forward the model of customer relationship management, which is based on customer equity, then verify how the key dimensions in customer value influence customer equity and also discuss the role of relationship quality- mediating. The authors finally come to the conclusion that customer value has significant influence on customer satisfaction; and relationship quality also exerts significant influence on customer equity.

This study tried to determine and analyze the deeper understanding of the influence of customer relationship management, brand equity, perceived of product quality, perceived value and price to the customer at the customer's purchase intention Philips light bulb in Batam.The population in this study are all users (consumers) electric light bulb philips brands in the city of Batam. Testing of the model in this study, with Generalized Least Square Estimation (GLS), analysis of structural equation modeling (SEM), proportional random sampling method and software assistance Amos 22, on 240 respondents from eight times the 30 indicators the study variables. The test results indicate the model (fit) seen from the GFI, AGFI, TLI, CFI, RMSEA and CMIN / DF, each of 0915, 0901, 0949, 0953, 0063, and 1,376 are all that are in the range of expected values so that the model can be accepted.The results showed that: 1). Customer relationship management influence on customer value, it shows that with good customer relationship management program, will increase customer value. 2) Customer relationship management influence on purchase intention, it shows that with good customer relationship management program, will increase customer value. 3) Brand equity effect on customer value, it shows that with a good brand equity, will increase customer value. 4). Brand equity effect on purchase intention, it shows that with a good brand equity, will increase customer value. 5) Perceived quality of product effect on customer value, it indicates that the perceived quality of a good product, will increase customer value. 6). Perceived quality of product effect on purchase intention, this suggests that the perceived quality of a good product, will increase purchase intention. 7). Perceived price effect on customer value, it indicates that the perceived price friendly, will increase customer value. 8) Perceived price effect on purchase intention, this suggests that the perceived price friendly, will increase purchase intention. 9). Customer value effect on purchase intention, it shows that with high customer value, will raise the purchase intention.

This study develops a conceptual framework for applying social networks in usual CRM models. Recent changing in customer relationship theme and putting new media and network-based paradigm into practice makes it imperative to find how social networks affect CRMs. Accordingly, this study explains the role of social networks in customer relationship management by using its analysis, tools and aspects of this concepts based on CRM models. We have provided a SCRM framework that is based on usual CRM models and incorporates Social networks and its tools, methods and analysis. The framework is combination of Social networks concept and traditional CRM concepts.

The importance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to help businesses acquire new customers, retain existing ones and maximize their lifetime value. This paper discusses the role of Customer Relationship Management in 4 bank units and the need for Customer Relationship Management to increase customer value by using several analytical methods in CRM applications. This paper attempts to identify the technological revolution witnessed by commercial banks and to what extent it has benefited banks to build better customer relationship management (CRM) services between public sector banks and private sector banks. The purpose of this study is 1) to analyze customer opinions about bank CRM in relation to service quality management. 2) To find out the customer's opinion about the bank's CRM on customer relationship management. This study uses primary and secondary data. Primary data will be collected by distributing structured questionnaires to conventional banks (Private and Government). Secondary data will be collected from records published by the financial services authority (OJS), standard textbooks and published research papers, and through web information. The primary data required will be collected from 6 banks in Bengkulu. In addition to collecting information from banks, it also collects information from the general public who have bank accounts.

Purpose: Despite the crucial contribution of social media on customer relationship management (CRM) strategies, how social CRM can be transformed into customer value, and economics returns for firms remain unexplored in the hospitality industry, especially in turbulent environments. As a new approach for dealing with both gradual and disruptive changes in the market, this study develops and tests the mediating role of dynamic capabilities in the social CRM - performance relationship. Methodology: Drawing on resource-based view and capabilities perspectives, a mixed methodology was applied. First, a survey was conducted to quantitatively test the proposed hypotheses using Structural Equation Modelling with PLS approach (PLS-SEM) on a sample consisting of 111 SEMs. Then, a qualitative fuzzy-set Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) was employed to look for the unique combinations of capabilities to achieve firms‟ superior performance. Findings: The outcomes indicated a mixture of expected and unexpected findings, including: (i) the direct effect of social CRM on firm‟s performance; (ii) Dynamic capabilities as the missing link between social CRM capabilities and firms‟ performance; (iii) the unique roles of social media technology use in the combinations with other capabilities for generating the best firms‟ performance. Originality: This study is among the few to consider the dynamic nature of the market when investigating how to implement Social CRM successfully. The insights and practical implications in this study can be useful for managers in SMEs whose desire is to build a dynamic system for improving customer value and firms‟ performance.

The purpose of this study is to explore the role of implementing e-supply chain management (E-SCM) on the competitive position of companies and whether implementing customer relationship management (CRM) can affect the relationship between E-SCM and competitive advantage. To achieve this objective, a quantitative approach was utilized. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed where 243 questionnaires were returned, with 17 incomplete questionnaires being excluded, leaving 226 usable questionnaires. PLS-SEM software was used to analyze the data. The results of this study demonstrate the imperative role of implementing E-SCM and CRM on creating a competitive advantage for firms. It also shows that CRM mediates the relationship between E-SCM and competitive advantage, suggesting that utilizing different technologies can help firms better communicate with their customers and thus better serve them which in turn will enhance customers’ satisfaction and thus boost the competitive position of the firm.

In community service activities that have been carried out in Tangerang City, the aim of this activity is to conduct training in retail businesses in South Tangerang, in building relationships with customers. Providing knowledge on how to build good relationships with customers is expected to increase customer loyalty. This activity refers to the results of internal grant research from PKM team members on customer relationship management (CRM). For retail businesses, it is very important to build customer relationship management (CRM) in increasing and maintaining loyal customers. The partner that is used as a place of activity is engaged in retail trading in eight traditional markets in South Tangerang, and has been in business for 6 years. With preliminary observations made on partners, several problems faced by these partners were identified, including a). Lack of knowledge of partners in doing good relationships with customers. b) lack of knowledge of partners to analyze customer relationship management (CRM) programs in maintaining customers. Based on the analysis of partner problems, there is still weak knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) so that partners have not been able to build relationships with customers. The method offered in this activity is training online retail business owners. The results of this activity indicate that the partners are very enthusiastic in listening to and discussing the CRM material delivered by the PKM TEAM. Thus the understanding of partners about CRM will be further improved. ABSTRAK:Pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan di Kota Tangerang, yang bertujuan untuk kegiatan ini adalah melakukan pelatihan pada usaha ritel di Tangerang Selatan, dalam membangun hubungan dengan pelanggan. Dengan pembekalan pengetahuan tentang cara membangun hubungan yang baik dengan pelanggan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan. Kegiatan ini mengacu dari hasil penelitian hibah internal dari anggota tim PKM tentang customer relationship managemen (CRM). Bagi usaha ritel sangat penting membangun customer relationship managemen ( CRM) dalam meningkatkan dan mempertahankan pelanggan yang setia. Mitra yang dijadikan tempat kegiatan adalah bergerak dalam bidang perdagangan eceran di pasar tradisional delapan Tangerang Selatan , dan sudah melakukan usaha selama 6 tahun. Dengan observasi awal yang dilakukan pada mitra teridentifikasi beberapa persoalan yang dihadapi mitra tersebut diantaranya a). Kurangnya pengetahuan mitra dalam melakukan hubungan yang baik dengan pelanggan. b) kurangnya pengetahuan mitra menganalisis program customer relationship managemen (CRM) dalam mempertahankan pelanggan. Berdasarkan analisis masalah mitra , masih lemahnya pengetahuan akan customer relationship managemen (CRM) sehingga mitra belum mampu membangun hubungan dengan pelanggan. Metode yang ditawarkan pada kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan kepada pemilik usaha ritel secara daring. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa mitra sangat antusias dalam mendengarkan dan berdiskusi tentang materi CRM yang disampaikan oleh TIM PKM. Dengan demikian pemahaman mitra tentang CRM akan lebih meningkat.
