Objective: to analyze the nursing care provided to pregnant women who abuse alcohol and other drugs. Method: it is reported that seven nurses from the Psychosocial Care Center participated in the research to treat users of alcohol and other drugs. It is detailed that the collection occurred through the semi-structured interview, the organization of the data followed the technique of Content Analysis and the study was based on the Theory of Imogene King. Results: three themes were evidenced: Looking towards achieving harm reduction, Integrality of being and Nursing Process x integralization of assistance. Conclusion: it is concluded that, although assistance is based on harm reduction, the study demonstrated that there is a failure in the care of pregnant women who use drugs, considering that one of the principles of the Unified Health System, comprehensiveness, is still far away to be attended to, as the pregnant woman is assisted only on aspects of the use of alcohol and other drugs.

ABSTRACT Objective: to evaluate the perception of the relatives of crack users in relation to the support groups offered to this population in a Psychosocial Care Center for Alcohol and Drugs in the South of Brazil. Method: the fourth-generation theoretical framework was used for evaluation, having as methodological device the hermeneutical-dialectic circle. Data collection occurred through 500 hours of observations and interviews with 12 relatives of crack users, and the comparative constant method was used in the analysis, generating the “family group” unit of meaning. Results: this group was regarded by the family members as a space for guidance on the management of users in their home environment. They reported the need for a basic structure to conduct the groups, greater duration of the meetings, confidentiality of information and diversity of timetables. Final considerations: investment in education and training of nursing professionals focused on group care is suggested to the education institutions.

ABSTRACT Objective To discuss the lack of coordination in the Psychosocial Care Network from the conception of professionals of a Psychosocial Care Center for Alcohol and Drugs (Portuguese acronym: CAPSad). Method Qualitative study conducted with professionals from a CAPSad unit. The empirical material was produced through two reflection workshops focused on care experiences, and analysis using the discourse analysis technique. The category of analysis was integrality. Results Nine professionals participated in the study. All of them reported being part of a disarticulated service network, in disagreement with principles of the national mental health policy, which directly affects the resolution of care provided in the unit. Conclusion The operating logic in the Psychosocial Care Network tends to reduce the care of drug users to the CAPSad assistance, hence compromising the integrality of care.
