This article, through the cylinder jacket break phenomenon which occurs to the diesel engine early time carries on the failure analysis, suggests that the cylinder jacket material ingredient control is lax, causes the cylinder jacket material brittleness to be oversized, the tool escape acute angle is the cylinder jacket break primary cause, and proposes corresponding regulatory measures prevent the cylinder jacket early tithe break.

This paper has developed a diesel engine cylinder liner and cooling water heat exchange enhancement device, including diesel engine cylinder liner, cylinder liner water cooler, hydraulic accumulator, check valve, diaphragm booster, centrifugal water pump, pulse valve and Conical tube. As well as the pulsating circulation system and booster system composed of equipment. The device heats the heat generated by the diesel engine cylinder liner in a pulsating circulation system through a cylinder circulator in a pulsating circulation system to exchange heat with the external low-temperature seawater. By controlling the opening and closing of the pulsating valve in the pulsating circulation system, fluid is generated in the pipe. Pulsing and hydraulically impacting the diaphragm booster connected near the pulsation valve pipeline, the fluid at the outlet of the diaphragm booster is subjected to hydraulic shock and circulates in a closed booster circuit connected to the diaphragm booster and passes through the cone during the flow. The shaped tube accelerates the fluid to return to the diaphragm supercharger, and the kinetic energy of the fluid is converted into the pressure in the pulsating heat exchange system by impacting the elastic diaphragm of the diaphragm supercharger, so that the pulsating speed is increased. The present invention is to increase the pulsating velocity of the diaphragm. Based on the design of the compressor drive, it improves energy efficiency, avoids the use of high-power water pumps, and saves equipment construction and daily operation.

To estimate oil evaporation from an engine cylinder liner, an evaporation model has been implemented and incorporated with an existing 3-D piston ring-pack lubrication model. In this evaporation model, oil is modeled as being composed of distinct hydrocarbon species. Due to the depletion of light species and temperature variation, oil composition changes with space and time. Great emphasis was placed on the change of oil composition caused by oil transport through the ring-pack movement along the liner. The model was applied to a gasoline engine, and it was demonstrated that due to the movement of piston ring-pack, oil can be transported from the lower liner region to the upper liner region during the compression stroke, which gives a continuous supply of light species for oil evaporation.

In order to deal with the small sample problem in practical reliability analysis of the diesel engine cylinder liner, the method and the steps of using support vector machine to build a regression prediction model to eventually develop the competing failure model of diesel engine cylinder liner are proposed. As proposed, more samples are generated by use of the regression prediction model and the quasi maximum likelihood method is used to separately estimate the occurring patterns of two failure models, including abrasion deterioration and pyrolysis. The scientificity and effectiveness of this method was demonstrated through calculation of examples and comparison of results.
