This study attempts to provide a better understanding of the functioning of television sponsorship and to determine the effect of the bi-dimensionality of congruity between a sponsor brand and a television program on consumer responses. We used structural equation modeling to validate the theoretical model. The final survey show that the relevant side of the association of a pair (TV program/brand) has a positive effect on brand equity, brand image and attitude towards the brand but the expected side of the association between a program and a sponsor does not influence consumers’ responses in terms of brand equity, brand image and attitude towards the brand. Our research equally showed that relevance is necessary for the consumer to make sense of the association between the brand and the TV program. The contribution of this research at the managerial level consists in providing supporting arguments for television sponsorship.

Leader humor plays an important role in organizations because it affects employees' attitude and behavior. The positive effect of humor in organizations has been widely touted; however, research on the effect of leader humor on employee creativity is still rare. This study addressed how leader positive humor affects employee creativity and whether work engagement mediates this relationship. Data were collected from 233 supervisor–subordinate dyads in 23 Chinese hightech companies. Results of structural equation modeling indicate that leader positive humor was positively related to work engagement, and that work engagement was positively related to employee creativity. Additionally, work engagement mediated the relationship between leader positive humor and employee creativity. Thus, organizations should encourage managers to use positive humor to enhance employees' engagement at work, which will, in turn, lead to creative outcomes. This research extends understanding of the leader positive humor–employee creativity relationship.

This study aims to investigate the relationship between social media marketing practices and customer response with consideration of the mediating role of brand equity dimensions through structural equation modeling in an empirical case study. Data are analyzed using structural equation modeling. The following findings are found: The results show that there is a significant relationship between social media marketing practices and customer response in the survey sample. Additionally, the hypothesis about the mediating role of brand equity dimensions is also supported. The results of our research augment our understanding of the role of social media marketing practices in stimulating customer response (electronic word-of-mouth and commitment) and the role of brand equity dimensions (brand awareness and brand image).

The questionnaire distributed 175 copies to the users of Kencana Truss light steel in Bali Province, but valid for processing 133 copies. Data were analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis technique. The results of this study found that variable product quality, brand image, and brand trust have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction variables have a significant positive effect on customer loyalty. Variable brand image and brand trust, significantly mediate the effect of product quality on customer satisfaction. Similarly, customer satisfaction mediates the effect of brand image and brand trust on customer loyalty. The implications of the results of this study indicate that product quality is found as a major factor in increasing customer satisfaction which ultimately results in customer loyalty. This paper aims to identify the functional, symbolic, hedonic and Islamic value constructs of Muslim consumers’ satisfaction with fine dining restaurants. In addition, it develops the role of religiosity in the relationship between hedonic and Islamic symbolic values in consumer satisfaction and examines the effect of such satisfaction on the willingness to pay more. The method used in the research is based on a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with data collected using a questionnaire; 281 valid respondents took part in the study. The results show that in terms of the influence of the dimensions of perceived value in explaining customer satisfaction, the functional, hedonic and Islamic have has a positive and significant effect, whereas the symbolic value variable is is perceived to have no significant effect on satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on the willingness to pay more. In comparison, religiosity does not moderate the effect of perceived symbolic value on consumer satisfaction. However, it does moderate the effect of hedonic and Islamic value.

Millennial generation is a generation born between 1980 and 2000. The number of millennial in Indonesia now reaches almost half of Indonesia's population. As a country with 87.2% of its population Muslim, it is a potential market for halal restaurants. This paper describes the behavior of Muslim millennial consumers in restaurants that have halal certificates in Indonesia. Research with the approach of the theory of planned behavior or planned training theory proposed by Ajzen (1991). The method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which analyzed using AMOS 24 program. The results of this study show that subjective norms and behavioral control have significant positive effect on consumer consumption interest. Interest in consumer consumption has asignificant positive effect on consumer behavior. While consumer behavior control does not affect consumer behavior.

Purpose Limited research has investigated the antecedents of halal restaurant’s brand image and its consequence to customer’s revisit intention empirically. This study aims to fill this gap by providing an insight into the relationship of halal restaurant brand image toward revisit intention, and the crucial antecedents of halal restaurant’s brand image, taking Rumah Makan Padang as a unit of analysis. Rumah Makan Padang (Padang Restaurant) is a type of halal restaurant in Indonesia originating from West Sumatra. These restaurants are widely spread in Indonesia and also in other countries where Indonesians migrate. Design/methodology/approach The research design was cross-sectional. Data were collected from various Rumah Makan Padang in West Sumatera, Indonesia. The proposed model was tested using structural equation modeling with a sample size of 450 respondents. Findings This study confirmed that halal restaurant’s brand image has a significant positive effect on customer’s revisit intention. Furthermore, the antecedents of halal restaurants brand image (i.e. service quality, health awareness and religiosity) were also found to have significant positive effect on halal restaurant’s brand image, Whereas, halal preferences do not have an influence on its brand image. Originality/value To the author’s knowledge, this study is among the first to provide a holistic approach toward the antecedents of halal restaurants brand image (i.e. halal preference, service quality, health awareness and religiosity) and investigated the effect of halal restaurant’s brand image on customer’s revisit intention. This study also proves the effect of religiosity on brand image, which has not been discussed in previous studies.
