In recent years, business education has grown rapidly at the university level, though there have been some critics who believe that this approach does not instill the outcomes that business schools claim.  One possible approach suggested is the expansion of business education to general education at the   K-12 level in order to better instill business skills among the general student population.  The validity of this theory and the proposal to add a business education component to the College of Basic Education at The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in The State of Kuwait was tested using the perspectives gathered through interviews of six faculty members from the College of Basic Education and the College of Business Studies.  The interviews revealed varying opinions between the two faculties on the usefulness of business education generally, the applicability of business skills, and the importance of teaching business ethics.  Though the hypothesis is ultimately not fully supported, the perspectives given provide a good start for considering expanding business education to the K-12 level.

Survey data from 1,095 PAAET students were analyzed to determine students' perceptions and evaluate their experience using e-Adviser. The findings indicated that students were aware of the features and advantages of e-Advisor. Overall, the participants had a moderately positive impression of e-Advisor’s UX. The system’s attractiveness, efficiency, and perspicuity were rated slightly higher than its dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Peer assessment refers to students assessing their peers' work and providing grades and/or feedback. This study investigates Kurdish EFL students' attitudes toward peer assessment. To this end, the peer assessment technique will be utilised in teaching academic writing to second-year students in the English Department, College of Basic Education. Participants will be trained on how to assess their peers' writing by using Jacobs et al 's (1981) writing scale as a descriptor grading model. This scale provides five subscales for evaluating a written paragraph, namely: content, organization, vocabulary, language use, and mechanics. After implementing this model for 16 weeks, the students have shown positive attitudes toward implementing peer assessment in their writing classes as a practical assessment technique.
