This research was conducted at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2017 with a population of 150 companies. Determination of the sample in this research is by non probabilaty sampling method and by purposive sampling technique, so that the research sample is 63 companies. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis which shows that all independent variables in this study, namely profitability, capital intensity, and inventory intensity have a positive effect on tax avoidance. Keywords: Profitability, capital intensity, inventory intensity, tax avoidance

This study aims to determine affect of size and leverage on firm value of BUMN companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2012-2017 either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study are all of BUMN companies listed on the Stock Exchange from 2012-2017, which amounted to 20 companies. The sample is in the form of selected BUMN company financial statements with certain criteria from 2012-2017. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination. Hypothesis testing uses t test and F test. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicate that firm size has a negative effect on firm value. Leverage has a positive effect on firm value. The results of the partial hypothesis test indicate that size has a significant effect on firm value while leverage does not have a significant effect on firm value. Simultaneously size and leverage have a significant effect on firm value. The contribution of size and leverage to company value is 43.8% and the remaining 56.2% is influenced by other variables.

This research purposes for determining the use of agricultural mechanization and its impact on rice farming in Sidomulyo Gapoktan, of Sananwetan District of Blitar City, which is expected to improve the living standards and welfare of its group members. The total samples which taken were 50 rice farmers of Sidomulyo Gapoktan in Sananwetan District of Blitar City. The sampling taken using purposive random sampling technique, which is deliberately chosed based on criteria which determined by the researcher. The Data analysis was carried out descriptively, using the Mann-Whitney Test and the Multiple Linear Regression Cobb Douglas model. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the mechanization of rice farming in Sidomulyo Gapoktan, Sananwetan District, Blitar City has not still optimal. This is caused by the farmers' perceptions of the results of unsatisfactory performance of agricultural machinery, a sense of humanity towards' farm labors, narrow area of farming and insufficient availability of agricultural machinery. The result of reseach which was used Mann-Whitney Test analysis, found that pesticide using and labor requirements were smaller and differed significantly in the use of full mechanization rather than partial mechanization. Harvest variable costs were lower in the use of full mechanization and were significantly different than using partial mechanisms. The Productivity of rice in full mechanization is 782,15 kg / 1000m2 while in partial mechanization was 682.87 kg / 1000m2. For farmers' income in full mechanization is Rp. 1,153,407, - per 1000 m2, in partial mechanization of Rp. 1,590,574, - per 1000m2. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis of the Cobb Douglas model shows that the land area (m2), seed costs and the use of mechanization have a significant influence on the income of rice farming in Sananwetan District, Blitar City.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of size, profitability, maturity, insider ownership and leverage on dividend policy using the LQ45 company object listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research was conducted for five consecutive years from 2015 to 2019 which included 27 sample companies taken using purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the size, maturity and insider ownership variables partially had an insignificant effect on dividend policy, while profitability and leverage had a significant effect on dividend policy. Simultaneously, size, profitability, maturity, insider ownership and leverage had a significant effect on dividend policy.

The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the influence of financial ratios on firm value carriedout in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013 to 2017. The samplingin this study used a purposive sampling technique. Based on predetermined criteria, this study uses multiplelinear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results of multiple linear regression analysis were obtained by the regression equation Y = α +β1x1 + β2x2 + β3x3 + ε. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that the variables of profitabilityand capital structure had a positive and significant effect on the value of the company, while the variablegrowth of the company was not significant towards firm value.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the bank’s image and trust on customer satisfaction, as well as the effect of the image of the bank, trust, and satisfaction on customer loyalty. The study used sample of 100 people who were taken by purposive sampling technique. This research utilized multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis. Based on the hypothesis test, the results show that the image of the bank was significantly has positive effect on customer satisfaction, but trust has no significant effect on customer satisfaction. In addition, the bank’s image has no significant effect on customer loyalty. Moreover, trust and customer satisfaction significantly have positive effect on customer loyalty. Mediation test shows that customer satisfaction mediates the effect of the bank’s image on customer loyalty and customer satisfaction does not mediate trust on customer loyalty.
Info

This study uses Lintner's (1956) dividend estimation model to test the effect of earnings and leverage on dividend policy. The population in this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2014 to 2016. Sampling research conducted by purposive sampling technique which further collected as many as 52 company samples with 139 observations. This study meets the pre-assumption test required as a requirement to perform multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that: (1) earnings has a positive effect on dividend policy, (2) leverage has no negative affect on dividend policy.

This research aims to determine the effect of Net Interest Margin (NIM), Operation Expenses to Operations Income (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Non Performing Loan (NPL) toward Profitability (Case Study on the Commercial Banks that Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2018).

In this research the sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique and managed to obtained 13 banks. Secondary data used were obtained from financial reports published from the official website of the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Methods of data analysis used in this study is the analysis of multiple linear regression with a level of significance of 5%.
The results showed that the variables NIM, BOPO, LDR, and NPL simultaneously have significant effect to Profitability. Based on the t-test results it can be concluded that the variables NIM and BOPO have significant effect while LDR, and NPL have not significant effect to Profitability. The results obtained by multiple linear regression analysis Adjusted R2 of 0.976, this shows that the contribution of independent variables in explaining the dependent variable is 97,6% and the remaining is explained by other variables that are not examined.

Before making investment decisions, investors need to analyze the pattern of trading days which change daily because of investors’ behavior in stock trading activity that affects the pattern of daily stock price movements. Changes in macro variables like exchange rates for instance, also can affect share price. To determine the influence of independent variables (day of the week effect and exchange rate) on the dependent variable (Jakarta Composite Index (JCI)), a research is conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The initial test uses a test of normality and is resumed by testing multiple linear regression analysis and classical assumption. The hypothesis test uses t-statistics and F-statistics with a significance level of 5%. A descriptive statistics implies that there is an effect of trading days on stock prices. However, using backward stepwise linier regression model and multivariate analysis, the result indicates that there is no effect of trading days on stock prices. Using multivariate data analysis, it is found that stock prices is influenced by exchange rate.
