This study examines participating tutors’ four-year feedback on a faculty-embedded tutor training program using structural equation modeling. Data from 333 tutors across all four departments in the Faculty of Business and Economics was used. Results indicate that the quality of the training session directly influences tutors’ perceived need for further skills development training and that the partial effect of facilitator effectiveness on the latter is not significant. This indicates that tutors’ indication of their future need for relevant skills in teaching and use of technology is highly influenced by the quality of the training session and much less on the facilitator’s effectiveness in delivering it. This has implications for both the way the tutor training program is perceived and the redevelopment of the questionnaire in the future.

Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan bahwa Balai Diklat Perikanan Banyuwangi perlu pembenahan terhadap kriteria calon peserta pelatihan, kualitas bahan pembelajaran, peningkatan kualitas pelatih Title: Analysis of Factors Affecting Effectiveness of Aquaculture Training (Case Study on the Fisheries  Training Center of Banyuwangi)One of the solutions to pursue the lack of the aquaculture technology is providing a training program for fish farmer. This research was used using the Analysis of factors affecting the training effectiveness. Objective of the research were to measure the causality relations of the training equipment factor, the quality of the participants and the material, the provision of the training methods, and the quality of the trainers toward the effectiveness of training program. Object of the research was the Purnawidya of aquaculture training in the Banyuwangi Training Center which spread out in 3 provinces with over 105 participated. Data were analyzed by using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results shows that equipments have a positive significant impact toward the effectiveness of the training and the efficiency of the aquaculture performance. The quality of the training and the material, the methods, and the quality of the trainers not significant impacted the of effectiveness of the training program. The result recommends the Banyuwangi Training Center need to improve the criteria for selecting the participants, the quality of the materials, and to improve the quality of the trainers

Preference advertisement is a promotional system in which marketer claims the superiority of their product or brand over competing product(s) or brand, directly or indirectly. Preference advertisement helps in comparing alternative brands on bases of features, price, and other distinctive information. Brand equity is the total worth of the brand. Brand equity can be measured in two different perspective i.e. cognitive psychology is the attribute perception that is related to the awareness regarding the brand features and associations whereas another information economics is associated towards strong brand name which is created through the quality of the product and good quality generates a premium prices for the brand. In the monetary terms it’s the value that the organization expects from the brand. Preference advertisement can either be transferred directly to the brand. The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of preference advertisement in building the brand equity. Therefore to achieve the objective, different analysis tools used in the study are: mean, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling technique. The finding shows that preference advertisement has a significantly positive impact on building the brand equity.

Purposes: Women with diabetes (WD) are more severely impacted by the consequence of suboptimal diabetes control. This study aims to examine the impact of demographic and disease characteristics, baseline self-stigma, role strain, diabetes distress on Hemoglobin A1C (A1C) levels, quality of life (D-QoL) and 6-month A1C levels in younger WD. Methods: This study was a 6-month prospective study. In total, 193 WD aged 20–64 years were selected by convenience sampling from three outpatient clinics in Taiwan. Demographic and disease characteristics, self-stigma, role strain, diabetes distress, A1C levels, and D-QoL were collected at baseline. A1C levels were further collected 6 months later. Structural equation modeling was conducted to test the hypothesized model. Results: The final model supported that higher baseline D-QoL directly associated with lower concurrent A1C levels and indirectly associated with lower 6-month A1C levels through baseline A1C levels. Higher baseline self-stigma, role strain, and diabetes distress directly associated with lower baseline D-QoL, and indirectly associated with higher 6-month A1C levels through D-QoL. Conclusion: Improving self-stigma, role strain, and diabetes distress should be considered as promising strategies to improve D-QoL in young WD. D-QoL plays a mediation role between baseline self-stigma, role strain, diabetes distress and subsequent glycemic control in younger WD. Enhancing baseline D-QoL is fundamental to improve subsequent glycemic control.
