Introduction: Marital satisfaction is one of the most important signs of a favorable relationship between couples. This research aimed to survey the effectiveness of training using Bowen's family therapy approach on marital satisfaction of married women in the city of Aligodarz (In the west of Iran). Method: This study was a quasiexperi mental study using a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The statistical population consisted of counseling applicant married women in the city of Aligodarz in 2019. By convenience sampling, 30 married women were selected and participated in this study. After recording the subjects' scores in the pre-test stage, the experimental group was exposed to the intervention (training course), but no operations were performed on the control group. Data gathering was carried out using a demographic questionnaire and ENRICH marital satisfaction scale. Frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation indices were used to describe and Chi-square test was used to examine the homogeneity of the two groups in terms of study variables and multivariate analysis of covariance were performed in SPSS 24 software with a significancel level of 5%. Results: Descriptive findings showed that the mean (standard deviation) of the total score of the marital satisfaction variable in the pre-test and post-test stages was 131.60 (26.89) and 142.81 (25.24) in the experimental group and 132.66 (24.09) and 132.26 (21.92) in the control group, respectively. The inferential findings showed that Bowen's family therapy approach has a significant effect on some of the dimensions of marital satisfaction (religious orientation, equality of women and men, children and parenting, sexual relation, financial management, conflict resolution, and marital satisfaction) (p< 0.05). On the other hand, this approach was not practical in improving other aspects of marital satisfaction (relationship with family and friends, leisure time, marital relationship, personality issues, and contractual responses) (p> 0.05). Conclusion: The present study results showed an increase in marital satisfaction of married women using the Bowen family therapy approach. Therefore, it is recommended to use Bowen's family therapy approach to improve women's marital satisfaction with family problems.

The challenge faced by the incubators in India is finding good start-ups that solve theproblems in the market or in value chain. A well-structured incubation program may leadthe startup from idea generation stage to setting up the business and most crucial fundingsupport. Analysis of effectiveness of training programme was done using primary as wellas secondary data. Progress report of the institute and primary information from the traineeswere matched to reach usefulness of the training programme. The primary data was collectedduring August, 2019 to January 2020 with partial structured pre-scheduled interview. Forthe ICAR-BPD trainees there was no substantial variation in age or land ownership, implying that the comparison on certain dimensions could be due to the training programmerather than underlying human attributes. The ICAR-BPD trainees were mainly attemptingto obtain government employment and were often unaware of the training and otherresources available to help them establish their own enterprise. Almost all of the traineesattributed their progress to the RUDSET Institute’s EDP teaching.

Neural-symbolic models bridge the gap between sub-symbolic and symbolic approaches, both of which have significant limitations. Sub-symbolic approaches, like neural networks, require a large amount of labeled data to be successful, whereas symbolic approaches, like logic reasoners, require a small amount of prior domain knowledge but do not easily scale to large collections of data. This chapter presents a general approach to integrate learning and reasoning that is based on the translation of the available prior knowledge into an undirected graphical model. Potentials on the graphical model are designed to accommodate dependencies among random variables by means of a set of trainable functions, like those computed by neural networks. The resulting neural-symbolic framework can effectively leverage the training data, when available, while exploiting high-level logic reasoning in a certain domain of discourse. Although exact inference is intractable within this model, different tractable models can be derived by making different assumptions. In particular, three models are presented in this chapter: Semantic-Based Regularization, Deep Logic Models and Relational Neural Machines. Semantic-Based Regularization is a scalable neural-symbolic model, that does not adapt the parameters of the reasoner, under the assumption that the provided prior knowledge is correct and must be exactly satisfied. Deep Logic Models preserve the scalability of Semantic-Based Regularization, while providing a flexible exploitation of logic knowledge by co-training the parameters of the reasoner during the learning procedure. Finally, Relational Neural Machines provide the fundamental advantages of perfectly replicating the effectiveness of training from supervised data of standard deep architectures, and of preserving the same generality and expressive power of Markov Logic Networks, when considering pure reasoning on symbolic data. The bonding between learning and reasoning is very general as any (deep) learner can be adopted, and any output structure expressed via First-Order Logic can be integrated. However, exact inference within a Relational Neural Machine is still intractable, and different factorizations are discussed to increase the scalability of the approach.
