The formulation of the problem in this study is to find out how much the basic price per pack of tempe in the Tempe Pak Ali business if calculated using conventional methods and activity based costing method, what factors cause differences in the cost of production based on the system activity based costing with conventional methods in Mr. Ali's Tempe Business. The research method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The type of primary data obtained from interviews and direct observations on the Tempe Pak Ali Business. The results of this study are the cost of tempe production based on the activity based costing system of Rp. 8632.66 and conventional system based of Rp. 9,389.41. The conclusion of this study is the difference that occurs in determining the cost of production used by Tempe Pak Ali's Business with the activity based costing method due to the imposition of overhead costs produced by making tempe and conventional methods and ABC methods are different, so that the costs obtained can be greater or more small. The activity based costing method can be applied to Pak Ali's Tempe Business because using the ABC method requires lower costs than using conventional methods.

This study aims to determine how the application of the method of Activity-Based Costing in determining the tariff for inpatient hospital Husada Utama Surabaya and compared with a rate home services inpatient approved hospital with tariff services using Activity-Based Costing the approach of activity -aktivitas in providing products or services to determine the amount of the costs incurred. This research uses descriptive method. Research using primary data with a direct review of the research object, conduct interviews and make observations or direct observations. Inpatient services tariff calculation using the ABC method, performed in two stages. That is the first expense traced to the activity which raises the cost and the second stage charge activity to the product. While the rates obtained by adding the cost of hospitalization with the expected profit. The results obtained from the calculation of rates of hospitalization services using Activity-Based Costing namely to class Suite Rp. 1,434,298, Rp VVIP class. 1,141,516, VIP Rp. 757 680, Class I USD. 706 888, class II Rp. 643 385, and class III Rp. 616 269. So in the ABC method, has been able to allocate the cost of assets to each room is right by the consumption of each activity. From the results of this study using the assumption, researchers recommend that hospital is expected to reduce rates of hospitalization services in class suite, VVIP and VIP in order to attract patients to use the services of hospitalization. As for Class I, Class II and Class III, if the tariff wants to be maintained, it is recommended to class I order the tariff was increased to get a big profit, and for class II and class III is expected to add beds or full capacity.Keywords: Activity Based Costing, Hospitals, Rates services, Inpatient

This research aims to determine and analyze the right determination of the cost of goods manufactured based on the Activity Based Costing (ABC) System at the Dyas't Baubau Bread Company. This type of research is to use the descriptive method using the Activity Based Csoting system. Dyas't. The results of this study The cost of production with the Activity Based Costing system on Dyas't Baubau bread is Rp. 420.60 with a selling price of Rp. 650.00, obtaining a profit of Rp. 229.40 or 54.54% of the cost of goods manufactured. Meanwhile, if using the conventional system, the cost of goods manufactured by Dyas't Baubau Bread Company is Rp. 549.65 with a selling price of Rp. 650.00, obtaining a profit of Rp. 100.35 or 18.265% of the cost of goods manufactured, the cost of goods manufactured using the Activity Based Costing system. for sesame brown bread of Rp. 250.61 with a selling price of Rp. 330.00, obtaining a profit of Rp. 79.39 or 31.68% of the cost of goods manufactured. Meanwhile, if using the conventional system, the cost of production of sesame brown bread is IDR 244.25 with a selling price of IDR 330.00, you will gain a profit of IDR 85.75 or 33.11% of the cost of goods manufactured

Purpose: The cost of production is an important component in determining the selling price. The right and accurate cost of goods manufactured can provide the right information for decision-makers. Kelurahan Tanjung Raya is one of the sub-districts located in the subdistrict of peace. One form of a business carried out by the home industry is the chips business. The chip business is one of the businesses that can help the family economy. This PkM partner is the Dasawisama Women chip business group in the Tanjung Raya sub-district, RT 015. The main problem of partners is that they are still biased in calculating the cost of goods manufactured, while the production cost is an essential component in determining the selling price. The PkM method provided is in the form of training and mentoring. As the results of this activity, the respondent welcomed this activity with a positive response and increased understanding of the respondents in comparing the cost of goods manufactured with the conventional method and the ABC method. The purpose of this study was to increase the skill and the knowledge of participants. Method: The activities carried out were training and accompaniment. Results: Respondents welcomed this activity with a positive response and increased respondent understanding in comparing the cost of goods manufactured comparisons with the conventional method and the ABC method. Conclusion: This activity has a positive impact on increasing the skills and income of the participant group. Keywords: Cost of production, ABC, Selling price

      This study aims to calculate the cost of goods manufactured baby clothes garment CV Surya Surabaya with the ABC method for reporting purposes and objectives of decision making in gaining competitive advantage . Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis method . The results showed that the conventional cost accounting applied in the enterprise value of the difference of the calculation produces the ABC method. Calculation of costs by activity-based costing method is expected to assist management in making more informed decisions as to be benefit/profit. Data collection methods used in this study is documentation . Research subjects in this study is the production cost of baby clothes in CV Surya Garments Surabaya . The research object in this study is the data associated with the determination of the production cost of baby clothes. The difference between the production cost of conventional methods with activity-based costing method produces values undercosting conditions ( conditions in which a product has a lower cost than the actual cost is absorbed by the product ) and overcosting ( a condition in which a product has a higher cost than  the  cost of which is actually absorbed by the product ). Analysis undertaken in this study members advise the Company to undertake restructuring of the production process and production control for the results of each period more  evenly , because  the  fixed overhead costs is  greater than the variable overhead costs , it is most impact in the calculation of the cost of production.Keywords: Conventional Metode, Activity Based Costing Metode, Product costing

Determination of cost of goods must be applied appropriately and careful, because this can help entrepreneurs to compete in a manner well and in a relatively long period of time. The purpose of this study was to determine the calculation of the cost of production of the UD Taufik Jaya Makmur Samarinda Samarinda business which is used today and the calculation of the cost of production in the UD Taufik Jaya Makmur Samarinda Samarinda business according to the full costing method. Full costing is a method of determining the cost of production that takes into account all elements of production costs into the cost of production, which consists of the cost of raw materials, direct labor costs, and factory overhead costs, both behaving variable and fixed. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The variables of this study include the cost of production using the full costing method. Data analysis was performed by calculating the cost of production based on the concept of the full costing method. The results showed that the results of the analysis of the calculation of the Cost of Production of envelopes per kg in the UD Taufik Jaya Makmur Samarinda Endeavor conducted at present were Rp. 80,312.50 per kg. Whereas the Cost of Production of envelopes per kg in the UD Taufik Jaya Makmur Samarinda Business in Samarinda if calculated using the full costing method is Rp 83,068.23 per kg. The difference in cost of production of the UD Taufik Jaya Makmur Samarinda Amplang Business conducted so far using the full costing method for the UD Taufik Jaya Makmur Samarinda Endeavor is Rp 2,755.73 per kg. It is recommended that UD Taufik Jaya Makmur in Samarinda should calculate and charge all elements of the factory overhead costs in one production period (month). This is done so that information about the cost of production can be a good basis for the factory in setting the selling price of envelopes at UD Taufik Jaya Makmur in Samarinda.

This study aims to trace the absorption of overhead costs in the production process at Sabbena Soppeng's silk house, to identify appropriate cost drivers in allocating overhead costs to products that are accurate and do not occur distortion. This research uses descriptive method. Collecting data through interviews, observation, documentation. The analysis was carried out by applying a two-stage activity-based costing model. First, trace overhad costs to the “cost pool”. Second, trace the overhead costs to the product using multiple cost drivers. The results showed: a) the product category " Kain Sutera" shows a smaller difference of Rp. 3,253.62; b) product category "Sarung sutra ST-0 Standar" shows a bigger difference of Rp 10,997.4; c) product category "Sarung sutera ST-1 Standar" shows a bigger difference of Rp 22,420.49; d) product category "Sarung sutera ST- Sedang" shows a bigger difference of Rp. 28,352.51; e) product category “Sarung Sutera ST-ASL” shows a bigger difference of Rp. 278,342.75. The difference is due to the fact that the traditional overhead system does not use several cost drivers. Meanwhile, the ABC system uses a multi cost driver in charging BOP. So that with the ABC System it is considered that the BOP allocation is more accurate. Keywords : Activity Based Costing, Cost of Production.

ABSTRACT UD. Prima Bhakti is a food industry that is engaged in processing cassava into cassava chips which are located at Jalan Kemuning, Karangligar Village, West Telukjambe District, Karawang District, West Java. This factory experienced problems in the system of controlling high production costs which impacted on rising selling prices. The occurrence of production costs swelling due to the lack of good cost management. The costing used by the company is currently based on past cost data which is then made an estimated cost that will occur. From the above problems carried out a study of the design of the cost of production through the approach of Activity Based Costing (ABC). Activity Based Costing method is a method of calculating costs that imposes first costs on activities, then on products based on the use of activity by each product. Activity Based Costing System method identifies the activities carried out, tracing the costs to these activities and then using various cost drivers to trace costs, activities to cost objects. Key words: Cassava chips, cost of production, activity based costing ABSTRAK UD. Prima Bhakti merupakan industri makanan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan singkong menjadi keripik singkong yang beralamat di Jalan Kemuning Desa Karangligar Kecamatan Telukjambe Barat Kabupaten Karawang Jawa Barat. Pabrik ini mengalami permasalahan pada sistem pengendalian biaya produksi yang tinggi yang berimbas pada naiknya harga jual. Terjadinya pembengkakan biaya produksi dikarenakan belum adanya manajemen biaya yang baik. Penetapan biaya yang dipakai perusahaan saat ini didasarkan pada data biaya masa lalu yang kemudian dibuat taksiran biaya yang akan terjadi. Dari permasalahan di atas dilakukan suatu penelitian mengenai rancangan harga pokok produksi melalui pendekatan Activity Based Costing (ABC). Metode Activity Based Costing adalah metode kalkulasi biaya yang membebankan biaya pertama-tama pada aktivitas, lalu pada produk berdasarkan penggunaan aktivitas oleh setiap produk. Metode Activity Based Costing System mengidentifikasikan aktivitas yang dilaksanakan, menelusuri biaya keaktivatas tersebut dan kemudian menggunakan berbagai pemicu biaya (cost drivers) untuk menelusuri biaya, aktivitas ke objek biaya. Abstract.This study aims to find out how the application of hotel room rental prices by using activity based costing at de’Kayakini Bandung hotels. This study uses descriptive research methods. Descriptive research to determine the difference in activity based costing methods with traditional methods. In this study there is only one type of variable used, namely rent. The rental price is the amount of money that will be paid for something to be received, the rental price in this study is the selling price. The data sources used in this study are secondary data sources. Secondary data is obtained from Hotel De’Kayakini in the form of hotel cost reports. The results of the study show that from the calculation of the cost of rooms using the activity based costing method, the lower cost of goods is obtained compared to the traditional cost accounting method.Keywords. activity based costing; room rental prices AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan harga sewa kamar hotel dengan menggunakan activity based costing pada hotel de’Kayakini Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian deskriptif untuk mengetahui perbedaan metode activity based costing dengan metode tradisional. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat hanya satu jenis variabel yang digunakan yaitu harga sewa. Harga sewa adalah sejumlah uang yang akan dibayarkan untuk sesuatu hal yang akan diterima, harga sewa dalam penelitian ini adalah harga jual. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, merupakan sumber data sekunder. Data sekunder didapatkan dari Hotel De’Kayakini berupa laporan biaya hotel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari perhitungan harga  pokok kamar dengan menggunakan metode activity based costing diperoleh harga pokok yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan metode traditional cost accounting.Kata kunci. activity based costing; harga sewa kamar

Abstract Accounting information systems are needed by companies, because they help a lot, in the effectiveness and efficiency of business problems. Determination and calculation of cost of production is a very important thing to know the production costs incurred as well as the benefits to be obtained. PT. Barokah Sejahtera is a company engaged in wall paint products, where in its products depends on the policy of determining and calculating factory overhead costs, if factory overhead costs are the dominant cost, then allocation based on volume will cause errors in determining cost of production by calculating the overall cost raw materials issued with products produced during the production process. In addition, the process of recording and calculation requires considerable time which results in difficulties in analyzing profits. To overcome these problems, the application of Activity Based Costing System and Client Server based methods is carried out. All activities are intended to produce products with adequate costs. The main focus of company management on activity management, namely planning and controlling all company activities in producing products with the appropriate cost level. The research method used is the RND method / Reset and Development Accounting information system calculation of the cost of production is expected to be applied to the company so that it can be more effective and efficient in calculating the cost of production

<p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT:</em></strong></p><p><em>Strengthening middle-class prosperity in Indonesia raises the tourism industry, especially the umrah travel agency. Government regulations on waiting periods of pilgrimage have contributed to the increase of umrah pilgrims. In gaining market share, the umrah travel industry proclaims a low-price strategy. umrah travel industry is faced with the challenge of cost management and cost allocation so that the cost of goods calculation is more accurate.</em></p><p><em>This study aims to propose the calculation of cost of services by the method of Activity Based Costing (ABC) in XYZ Travel company. Activity Based Costing is a method of allocating cost based on activity so as to produce the calculation of cost of goods more appropriate. This study explains the basic concepts of ABC and compares it with the traditional product costing methods already applicable in XYZ Travel.</em></p><p><em>The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data used are secondary data in the form of financial statements supported by observation and interview with XYZ Travel management. The study was conducted on the costs incurred in the umrah travel industry according to 2016 financial data on the available umrah packages.</em></p><p><em>The results showed the difference between the cost of travel services industry umrah ABC method with the traditional price according to XYZ Travel. The difference between the cost of services for package type of two, three, and four of Rp 4,716,008, Rp 4,637,716 and Rp 4,502,774. The average cost of travel services umrah XYZ Travel increased after using the Activity Based Costing method. Increase or decrease in cost of services affects the difference in price offered to consumers.
