In this paper, we study some geometric properties on doubly or singly warped product manifolds. In general, on a fixed topological product manifold, the problem for finding warped-product metrics satisfying certain curvature conditions are finally reduced to find positive solutions of linear or non-linear differential equations. Here, we are mainly interested in the following problems on essentially warped-product manifolds: one is the sufficient and necessary conditions for conformal flatness, and the other is to find warped-product metrics so that their scalar curvatures are contants.

A. Gray presented an interesting O(n) invariant decomposition of the covariant derivative of the Ricci tensor. Manifolds whose Ricci tensor satisfies the defining property of each orthogonal class are called Einstein-like manifolds. In the present paper, we answered the following question: Under what condition(s), does a factor manifold Mi,i = 1,2 of a doubly warped product manifold M =f2 M1 x f1 M2 lie in the same Einstein- like class of M? By imposing sufficient and necessary conditions on the warping functions, an inheritance property of each class is proved. As an application, Einstein-like doubly warped product space-times of type A,B or P are considered.

We consider almost quasi-Yamabe solitons in Riemannian manifolds, derive a Bochner-type formula in the gradient case and prove that under certain assumptions, the manifold is of constant scalar curvature. We also provide necessary and sufficient conditions for a gradient almost quasi-Yamabe soliton on the base manifold to induce a gradient almost quasi-Yamabe soliton on the warped product manifold.

In this paper, we investigate the number of crossing limit cycles in a family of planar piecewise linear differential systems with two zones separated by a nonregular line formed by two rays starting at the origin. By studying the dynamics of each subsystem, a thorough study including the parameteric expressions and main properties of some section maps is performed. Especially, different to the case with a straight separation line, it is proved that each section map can be piecewise with two different pieces and can have at most one inflection point. In addition to this, for the existence of these inflection points, some sufficient and necessary conditions satisfied by the system parameters are obtained. Based on these results, the importance played by these inflection points in increasing the maximum number of limit cycles in such systems is verified by providing a concrete example having five nested limit cycles with two crossing one separation ray and the other three crossing both separation rays. So, the five limit cycles obtained here are different from that obtained in the existing literature, where all the limit cycles cross both separation rays.

The main aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the P − curvature flatness, P − divergence-free characteristic, and P − symmetry of a warped product manifold on its base and fiber (factor) manifolds. It is proved that the base and the fiber manifolds of the P − curvature flat warped manifold are Einstein manifold. Besides that, the forms of the P − curvature tensor on the base and the fiber manifolds are obtained. The warped product manifold with P − divergence-free characteristic is investigated, and amongst many results, it is proved that the factor manifolds are of constant scalar curvature. Finally, P − symmetric warped product manifold is considered.

If the potential vector field of an ?-Ricci soliton is of gradient type, using Bochner formula, we derive from the soliton equation a nonlinear second order PDE. In a particular case of irrotational potential vector field we prove that the soliton is completely determined by f . We give a way to construct a gradient ?-Ricci soliton on a warped product manifold and show that if the base manifold is oriented, compact and of constant scalar curvature, the soliton on the product manifold gives a lower bound for its scalar curvature.

In this work, we obtained new sufficient and necessary conditions for the oscillation of second-order differential equations with mixed and multiple delays under a canonical operator. Our methods could be applicable to find the sufficient and necessary conditions for any neutral differential equations. Furthermore, we proved the validity of the obtained results via particular examples. At the end of the paper, we provide the future scope of this study.

A new subclass Σp,q(α,A,B) of meromorphic multivalent functions is defined by means of a q-difference operator. Some properties of the functions in this new subclass, such as sufficient and necessary conditions, coefficient estimates, growth and distortion theorems, radius of starlikeness and convexity, partial sums and closure theorems, are investigated.

This paper studies colorings of patterns with multiple orbits, particularly those colorings where the orbits share colors. The main problem is determining when such colorings become perfect. This problem is attacked by characterizing all perfect colorings of patterns through the construction of sufficient and necessary conditions for a coloring to be perfect. These results are then applied on symmetrical objects to construct both perfect and non-perfect colorings.
