The main aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the P − curvature flatness, P − divergence-free characteristic, and P − symmetry of a warped product manifold on its base and fiber (factor) manifolds. It is proved that the base and the fiber manifolds of the P − curvature flat warped manifold are Einstein manifold. Besides that, the forms of the P − curvature tensor on the base and the fiber manifolds are obtained. The warped product manifold with P − divergence-free characteristic is investigated, and amongst many results, it is proved that the factor manifolds are of constant scalar curvature. Finally, P − symmetric warped product manifold is considered.

In this paper, some sufficient conditions of almost Yamabe solitons are established, such that the solitons are Yamabe metrics, by which we mean metrics of constant scalar curvature. This is achieved by imposing fewer topological constraints. The properties of the conformal vector fields are exploited for the purpose of establishing various necessary criteria on the soliton vector fields of gradient almost Yamabe solitons so as to obtain Yamabe metrics.

We investigate the spacelike hypersurface with constant scalar curvature (SCS) immersed in a Ricci symmetric manifold obeying standard curvature constraints. By supposing these hypersurfaces satisfy a suitable Okumura-type inequality recently introduced by Meléndez, which is a weaker hypothesis than to assume that they have two distinct principal curvatures, we obtain a series of umbilicity and pinching results. In particular, when the Ricci symmetric manifold is an Einstein manifold, then we further obtain some rigidity classifications of such hypersufaces.

The aim of this paper is to obtain the condition under which a pseudosymmetric spacetime to be a perfect fluid spacetime. It is proven that a pseudosymmetric generalized Robertson–Walker spacetime is a perfect fluid spacetime. Moreover, we establish that a conformally flat pseudosymmetric spacetime is a generalized Robertson–Walker spacetime. Next, it is shown that a pseudosymmetric dust fluid with constant scalar curvature satisfying Einstein’s field equations without cosmological constant is vacuum. Finally, we construct a nontrivial example of pseudosymmetric spacetime.

The objective of this paper is to deal with Kenmotsu manifolds admitting [Formula: see text]-Ricci-Yamabe solitons. First, it is proved that if a Kenmotsu manifold [Formula: see text] which admits an [Formula: see text]-Ricci-Yamabe soliton, then the manifold [Formula: see text] is Einstein and is of constant scalar curvature. Then, some important characterizations, which classify Kenmotsu manifolds admitting such solitons, are obtained and an example given which supports our results.

AbstractWe construct a broad family of thin-shell wormholes with circular symmetry in $$(2+1)$$ ( 2 + 1 ) -dimensional F(R) theories of gravity, with constant scalar curvature R. We study the stability of the static configurations under perturbations preserving the symmetry. We present examples of charged thin-shell wormholes which are asymptotically anti-de Sitter at both sides of the throat. We show that stable solutions are possible when suitable values of the parameters are taken.

Abstract We propose that finite cutoff regions of holographic spacetimes represent quantum circuits that map between boundary states at different times and Wilsonian cutoffs, and that the complexity of those quantum circuits is given by the gravitational action. The optimal circuit minimizes the gravitational action. This is a generalization of both the “complexity equals volume” conjecture to unoptimized circuits, and path integral optimization to finite cutoffs. Using tools from holographic $$ T\overline{T} $$ T T ¯ , we find that surfaces of constant scalar curvature play a special role in optimizing quantum circuits. We also find an interesting connection of our proposal to kinematic space, and discuss possible circuit representations and gate counting interpretations of the gravitational action.

AbstractWe consider, in the Euclidean setting, a conformal Yamabe-type equation related to a potential generalization of the classical constant scalar curvature problem and which naturally arises in the study of Ricci solitons structures. We prove existence and nonexistence results, focusing on the radial case, under some general hypothesis on the potential.
