Strategies for managing passenger car fleets applied on the Polish market - research results

Strategies used in passenger car fleets management are diverse in terms of choice of sources of vehicle financing, operational periods or service strategies, which is due to the specificity of individual enterprises and, above all, the industries they operate in. With this in mind, to develope a method for selecting vehicle replacement strategy, a survey regarding the fleet management strategy was carried out. Selected results of the survey are described in the paper. The questionnaires were filled in by 106 respondents people responsible for corporate vehicle fleets. The main areas covered by the questions are strategies regarding the usage period of vehicles in the company, human and IT resources for fleet management, as well as documents regulating the rules of using the company vehicles. In addition, the main criteria for selecting a car for a company were identified, as well as the methods of financing the purchase of vehicles and their maintenance strategies. The paper presents only selected research results.

Today, companies have to face new challanges because of the globalization, new technologies, globalization of markets and increasing competition. In this accelerated world, it is essential that the companies adapt to the market, which is only available through the necessary information. The importance of market research is undoubted. In our study we would like to prove that in case of a beginner company — in this case a confectionery — it is important to perform a market research like for a company in any other segment. To perform it, the qualitative market research methods were used. Our questionnaire examines several aspects in order to provide an indication of the company’s founding.

Abstract PT. COCA-COLA BOTTLING INDONESIA is a company engaged in the field of Agro-industry is bottling soft drinks and not sparkling. The products produced are Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, and Tea. To be able to compete with similar industries then the company implements quality control by Statistical Process Control method. In the development of this SPC many methods there are manual or who use the software. Currently PT. Coca-Cola Bottling Indonesia in quality control using Time Charting method, but since the transition from Minitab to Time Charting the tendency of the value of capability below standard, whereas production data is almost the same as using Minitab. The purpose of this research is to analyze the inequality of Statistical Process Control between Minitab 13 and Time Charting. Time Charting method is a new method that is given by the headquarters for the process of quality control can be fast and accurate. Quality control with the Statistical Process Control of Minitab and Time Charting methods after the results of the research results was found to be part of different LSL and USL charging, and Calculate Statistic Using different from Minitab method should still be 6 but in written procedure 3. For writing LSL And USL if the Time Charting is determined by the head office while Minitab analysts fill in based on experiments on the decrease of gas volume marketed in previous years. From the research results obtained Cpk data for Minitab method 13 is Sprite 390 ml 1.47, Sprite 1000 ml 1.90 and Sprite 1500 ml 1.38. The result of the research was using Minitab method and the Charting Time of Capacity that is above 1.33 average. The causes of the resulting inequality of both methods are the LSL, USL and Calculate Statistic Using values. The smaller the value of Calculate Statistic Using the higher Cpk produced. In this paper are proposed two new approaches to maintenance strategies for Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools. The analysis is done for different families of CNC machine tools from S.C. Elmet Bacau, a company specialized in aviation. In maintenance actions applied to CNC machine tools is very important to know the evolution of defects and critical state of electrical and mechanical components. The results of this analysis concludes that maintenance actions can be judged by the developing time period diagram, between failure appearance and interruptions in operation. It is also analyzed the financial impact, revealed from known maintenance strategies adopted on CNC machine tools, resulting in a positive approach of condition based maintenance.

Bazaars are important topic in historical and also modern market approach, as one of the basic marketing channals for sale of agriculture products. Perception of bazaar markets in the future is not real without usage of integrated marketing communications in comuniaction with costumers. IMC enable for bazaars to make an efficient contact with consumers and other public, for the purpise of fullfiling busines aims of bazaars on market. Research results show that the efficiency of bussines is manifested in tactical integrated marketing communications. By experience method and methods of marketing research, we came to conclusion that integrated marketing communications may promote bazaars on the market using sinergy of different instruments. The conclusion is that IMK are much cheaper in comparison to mass comunications and ti is possible to promote bazaars on the market and stress their social role, using IMK.

Competency is considered a crucial factor for an organisation to compete in a challenging construction environment. From an organisation perspective, it becomes a competitive advantage for a company. For the labourers, it becomes an advantage to compete in getting a job and earning a higher salary. The objective of this study is to identify what are the job specifications of Indonesian construction labourers in terms of KSAo (knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics) elements and to identify competency levels among 300 samples by using questionnaire as an instrument of research. Results showed that most of them are experienced, able to contribute by giving ideas, able to communicate in Malay, as well as competent. However, majority of them do not have a green card, having little to no education background and difficulties in communicating in certain languages. This reflects in their low salary.

A sales cycle that is reached out well in a company due to the role of an adequate intern control. The applied of intern control can be used as supervision and can increase effectiveness in sales activities in the company. The purpose of this study was to determine how the applied and implementation of intern  control of the sales cycle at UD. Sehat Indah Gorontalo. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The analytical method used in this research is a descriptive method, where the research results are described in accordance with the actual situation obtained directly through interviews and documentation. Research result obtained indicate that intern control in the sales cycle at UD. Sehat Indah has been quite effective, however the implementation is not yet fully adequate, because there are still weaknesses and incompatibilities with one of the concepts of internal control.

Dividend is profits generated by the company distributed to shareholders. Dividend sharing depends not only on company profits but also on the working capital it obtains. Many companies survive and develop, but the distribution of dividends is fixed and not in line with the development of corporate profits. Thus, this study was aimed to determining the effect of the amount of capital and dividends distribution and the effect of company profits on the number of dividends. The indicator is the type of working capital used, company profits and dividends distributed to the company during the observation period. Research results show that there is no effect of working capital on dividends distributed. Keywords: Capital, Company Profit, Dividend Introduction
