Abstract We investigate rotating effects on a charged scalar field immersed in spacetime with a magnetic screw dislocation. In addition to the hard-wall potential, which we impose to satisfy a boundary condition from the rotating effect, we insert a Coulomb-type potential and the Klein–Gordon oscillator into this system, where, analytically, we obtain solutions of bound states which are influenced not only by the spacetime topology, but also by the rotating effects, as a Sagnac-type effect modified by the presence of the magnetic screw dislocation.

In this work, an analytical expression for the nonrelativistic energy spectrum of some diatomic molecules was obtained through the Bopp’s shift method in the noncommutative (NC) two-dimensional real space-phase symmetries (NC: 2D-RSP) with a new modified Kratzer-type potential (NMKP) in the framework of two infinitesimal parameters and due to (space-phase) noncommutativity, by means of the solution of the noncommutative Schrödinger equation. The perturbation property of the spin-orbital Hamiltonian operator and new Zeeman effect of two-dimensional system are investigated. We have shown that, the new energy of diatomic molecule is the sum of ordinary energy of modified Kratzer-type potential, in commutative space, and new additive terms due to the contribution of the additive part of the NMKP. We have shown also that, the group symmetry of (NC: 2D-RSP) reduce to new sub-group symmetry of NC two-dimensional real space (NC: 2D-RSP) under new modified Kratzer-type interactions.

In this paper, we investigate the behaviour of a relativistic quantum oscillator under the effects of Lorentz symmetry violation determined by a tensor (KF)µναβ out of the Standard Model Extension. We analyze the quantum system under a Coulomb-type radial electric field and a uniform magnetic induced by Lorentz symmetry breaking effects under a Cornell-type potential, and obtain the bound states solution by solving the Klein-Gordon oscillator. We see a quantum effect due to the dependence of the angular frequency of the oscillator on the quantum numbers of the system, and the energy eigenvalues and the wave-function of the oscillator field get modified by the Lorentz symmetry breaking parameters as well as due to the presence of Cornell-type potential.

We solve exactly one-dimensional Schrödinger equation for the generalized asymmetric Manning-Rosen (GAMAR) type potential containing the different types of physical potential that have many application fields in the nonrelativistic quantum mechanics and obtain the solutions in terms of the Gauss hypergeometric functions. Then we determine the solutions for scattering and bound states. By using these states we calculate the reflection and transmission coefficients for scattering states and achieve a correlation that gives the energy eigenvalues for the bound states. In addition to these, we show how the transmission and reflection coefficients depend on the parameters which describe shape of the GAMAR type potential and compare our results with the results obtained in earlier studies.
