Abstract The general particle transfer (GPT) potential generates not only the Yukawa-type potential but also the 1⁄r^n-type potential in the hadron system, where the mass dependence of the transferred particle is clarified. The GPT potential from the atom-molecular system to the quark-gluon system was transversally studied, where the pico-meter physics could be highlighted. It was found that the long range three-body Efimov potential is connected with the short range three-body force potential.

The effects of uniform rotation on a relativistic scalar particle that interacts with a Cornell-type potential in background space–time described by the Kaluza–Klein theory are analyzed and the gravitational analogue of the Aharonov–Bohm effect is observed. Furthermore, linear confinement of a relativistic scalar particle was also discussed. We see a coupling between the angular velocity of the rotating frame [Formula: see text] and the angular momentum eigenvalue [Formula: see text] which shows the Sagnac-type effect.

AbstractWe propose a new mechanism for rendering dark matter self-interacting in the presence of a massive spin-2 mediator. The derived Yukawa-type potential for dark matter is independent of the spins of dark matter in the leading order of the momentum expansion, so are the resulting non-perturbative effects for the dark matter self-scattering. We find that both the Born cross section and relatively mild resonance effects assist to make the self-scattering cross section velocity-dependent. We discuss how to evade the current indirect bounds on dark matter annihilations and show that the model is marginally compatible with perturbative unitarity in the ghost-free realization of the massive spin-2 particle.

In this study, an approximate solution of the Schrdinger equation for the q-deformed Hulthen-quadratic exponential-type potential model within the framework of the NikiforovUvarov method was obtained. The bound state energy equation and the corresponding eigenfunction was obtained. The energy spectrum is applied to study H2, HCl, CO and LiH diatomic molecules. The effect of the deformation parameters and other potential parameters on the energy spectra of the system were graphically and numerically analyzed in detail. Special cases were considered when the potential parameters were altered, resulting in deformed Hulthen potential, Hulthen potential, deformed quadratic exponential-type potential and quadratic exponential-type potential. The energy eigenvalues expressions agreed with what obtained in literature. Finally, the results can find many applications in quantum chemistry, atomic and molecular physics.
