A technology for the manufacture and production of reference material (CRM) of the composition of magnesium alloys of the VML20 and VMD16 grades has been developed. In FSUE «VNIIOFI» tests of CRM material were carried out in order to approve their type, as well as metrological examination. Conclusions were drawn up on checking the results of CRM testing for the composition of the indicated alloys and certificates of type approval of reference materials were issued. CRM sets of the approved type of state standard samples of high-strength magnesium alloys of VML20 and VMD16 grades have a relative error of the certified values of the mass fraction of elements in the range from 0.5 to 5% (by weight) no more than 5% rel.

The article contains the results of the metrological examination and research of the accuracy indicators of a method for diagnosing aircraft gas turbine engines of the D30KU/KP family using an ultra-high-frequency plasma complex. The results of metrological examination of a complete set of regulatory documents related to the diagnostic methodology, and an analysis of the state of metrological support are provided as well. During the metrological examination, the traceability of a measuring instrument (diagnostics) – an ultrahigh-frequency plasma complex – is evaluated based on the scintillation analyzer SAM-DT-01–2. To achieve that, local verification schemes from the state primary standards of the corresponding types of measurements were built. The implementation of measures to eliminate inconsistencies identified during metrological examination allows to reduce to an acceptable level the metrological risks of adverse situations when carrying out aviation activities in industry and air transportation. In addition, the probability of occurrence of errors of the first and second kind in the technological processes of tribodiagnostics of aviation gas turbine engines is reduced when implementing a method that has passed metrological examination in real practice. At the same time, the error in determining ratings and wear indicators provides acceptable accuracy indicators and sufficient reliability in assessing the technical condition of friction units of the D-30KP/KP2/KU/KU-154 aircraft engines.

The article presents the experience of development and application of enterprise standard samples (ESS) of monolithic and dispersed materials for spectral and chemical methods of steel analysis. The procedure for the development of ESS is described in detail: development of technical specifications for ESS in accordance with the requirements of GOST 8.315, preparation of ESS material, study of the uniformity of ESS material, establishment of metrological characteristics of ESS, preparation of a report on the development of ESS, verification of technical documentation for ESS and metrological examination of documentation, approval of ESS and its registration.

During the recent decade, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) have been widely implemented in practice of the aerial survey for the purposes of inventory and mapping. This led to a variety of aerial survey results in terms of both aerial survey parameters and accuracy. Under these conditions, the task of assessing the accuracy of the final product obtained from aerial photographs with a UAV, for example, an orthophoto or a digital elevation model becomes urgent. The Federal State Budgetary Institution “Federal Scientific-Technical Center of Geodesy, Cartography and Spatial Data Infrastructure”, having a metrological service accredited by Rosstandart for the right to conduct metrological certification of measurement methods and metrological examination of documents, makes research tests of hardware and software for digital aerial survey and photogrammetric processing, which determine the values of metrological qualities of hardware and software complexes. The authors present the results of such tests as applied to hardware-andsoftware complexes based on the Geoscan 101 UAV and the Geoscan 201 UAV equipped with Sony DSC RX-1 and Sony DSC-RX1RM2 cameras. The accuracy indicators were obtained for orthophotos, digital surface and relief models, coordinates of targeted and non targeted points of land boundaries and building contours for all land categories and permitted uses of land parcels in accordance with the requirements of the Order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russia from 01.03. 2016 No 90.

Analytical and computer models of false failure and undetected failure (error functions) were developed with tolerance control of the parameters of the components of the measuring technique. A geometric interpretation of the error functions as two-dimensional surfaces is given, which depend on the tolerance on the controlled parameter and the measurement error. The developed models are applicable both to theoretical laws of distribution, and to arbitrary laws of distribution of the measured quantity and measurement error. The results can be used in the development of metrological support of measuring equipment, the verification of measuring instruments, the metrological examination of technical documentation and the certification of measurement methods.
