The aim of this study is to examine the structure, tasks, and resources of distance education centers of Turkey universities to determine the changes occurring in the centers during the pandemic process by interviews with center employees and to create the framework for the tasks and responsibilities of centers. For this purpose, the organizational structure, tasks, and resources of distance education centers were examined by websites and a variety of documents by content analysis. Then, new tasks, problems, and solutions in the COVID-19 pandemic process were examined with semi-structured interviews with center employees, and changes in the structuring of center were determined. According to results, it is seen that there are more support requests coming to the assessment and evaluation unit than the normal process, communication problems with instructors, slowing and delayed question checks, and technical problems.

This chapter studies the rules governing the enforcement of the duties imposed on directors, distinguishing between private and public enforcement. Directors owe their duties to the company and so the company is responsible for enforcing these duties. The law prefers such litigation decisions to be taken by the company through its normal process. The courts only interfere if that process cannot be made to work independently of the wrong-doers. It is unlikely for a derivative claim to succeed against the wishes of an independent majority and so it is right to observe that the shareholders are the main focus of the law. But here too the law is more nuanced and integrates the interests of minority shareholders and creditors. The duties of the directors are also enforced through the means of public law. The chapter then shows that public law sanctions particularly attach in relation to duties that enhance the interest of third parties interacting with the company. This leads to the conclusion that these interests are at least formally better protected than those of the shareholders.

The scratches on an optical surface can worsen the performance of elements. The normal process method is removing scratches entirely. However, it is a tough and high-cost requirement of removing extremely deep scratches and maintaining all the other excellent indicators at the same time. As the alternative of removing, we propose the method of scratch morphology transformation to diminish the drawbacks induced by scratches. We measure the morphology of scratches, establish the transformation models and transform them to the needed shape. In engineering applications, transformation can solve scratch drawbacks or limitations in an efficient and effective way. Then, residual scratches become acceptable. The transformation can also be amalgamated into the error figuring processes. Typical scratch transforming examples are experimented and AFM measurement is conducted. We explore the rule of scratch morphology transformation by two typical fabrication means: magnetorheological finishing (MRF) and HF etching. This morphology transforming method is an economical alternative for current defect-free fabrication. That will significantly decrease fabrication time, cost and risk, while the optical quality maintain.

The devasting pandemic covid 19 that has stricken the worldwide population induced an unprecedented influx of sever ARDS patient dramatically exceeding ICU bed capacities in several areas of many countries. the devasting pandemic covid 19 that has stricken the worldwide population induced an unprecedented influx of sever ARDS patient dramatically exceeding ICU bed capacities in several areas of many countries. A public health emergency, such as a surge of person seeking health care as Wall as critically ill patient with covid 19 or another severe respiratory illness, disrupts normal process for supporting ethically sound patient care.

Since most countries have an extensive forest resources, there are often, if not constantly, fires that erupt in these countries from these causes. The majority of vulnerable areas are found in warm climates. Since its highest elevation is a hundred and theta, this piece of infrastructure enables substantial vegetation, but since summers are hot and arid, the risks an overload. When global warming gets more intense, these types of disasters will become more frequent and worse. Much more land in the seasonal forest fires have been lost each year due to a destructive cutting practises, the old forestry, as well as assets, such as private residences and other structures. Additionally, it puts firefighters and the general public at risk, who on an equal scale suffer from a lot of death and illness each year. this sensor, microprocessor, and network technology] developed greatly expanded our] so we are now able to reliably detect the current spread of forest fires and begin to respond quickly to their progression. After natural timberland fires are set, which are frequent in remote regions where trees have not been selectively logged, they burn down into tinder, then new trees grow from seeds in their ashes, the older ones' fuel die and that spread. These pieces are particularly susceptible to being set on fire, which is an excellent location for matches and pyrotechnics. Although many a midsummer's day can cause a flame to erupt, the wick to expand, it can also be stoked by the normal process of human activities like smoking or using a heat source. Start running the process just as soon as the components are ready to go up in the flame. As the breeze expands the flame, the basic element of the vapour gets built up.

Mosaic inactivation of CCM2 in humans causes cerebral cavernous malformations (CCMs) containing adjacent dilated blood-filled multi-cavernous lesions. We used CRISPR-Cas9 mutagenesis to induce mosaic inactivation of zebrafish ccm2 resulting in a novel lethal multi-cavernous lesion in the embryonic caudal venous plexus (CVP) caused by obstruction of blood flow by intraluminal pillars. These pillars mimic those that mediate intussusceptive angiogenesis; however, in contrast to the normal process, the pillars failed to fuse to split the pre-existing vessel in two. Abortive intussusceptive angiogenesis stemmed from mosaic inactivation of ccm2 leading to patchy klf2a over-expression and resultant aberrant flow signaling. Surviving adult fish manifested histologically-typical hemorrhagic CCM. Formation of mammalian CCM requires the flow-regulated transcription factor KLF2; fish CCM and the embryonic CVP lesion failed to form in klf2a null fish indicating a common pathogenesis with the mammalian lesion. These studies describe a zebrafish CCM model and establish a mechanism that can explain the formation of characteristic multi-cavernous lesions.

Abstract The goal of this paper is to model the pulp properties fiber length, shives width and freeness. This will be done utilizing specific energy, flat zone inlet consistency and the internal variables, consistencies and fiber residence times estimated from refining zone soft sensors. The models are designed using more than 3600 hours of data from a RGP82CD refiner. The pulp properties are sampled using a measurement device positioned after the latency chest. Such measurements are noisy and irregularly sampled which opens for a number of challenges to overcome in modeling procedures. In this paper it is shown that the models for shives width and fiber length are capable of predicting most of the major dynamics. However, for freeness no reliable linear models can be derived. When estimating fiber length, the specific energy together with flat zone inlet consistency, fiber residence times and the consistency in the conical zone were the dominant inputs. For shives width it was found that a similar set of inputs resulted in the best models, except that the consistencies during normal process conditions did not significantly influence shives width. Furthermore, fiber residence times were shown to have considerably more pronounced impact on fiber length compared with shives width estimates.

There are many factors leading to construction safety accident. The rule presented under the influence of these factors should be a statistical random rule. To reveal those random rules and study the probability prediction method of construction safety accident, according to stochastic process theory, general stochastic process, Markov process and normal process are respectively used to simulate the risk-accident process in this paper. First, in the general-random-process-based analysis the probability of accidents in a period of time is calculated. Then, the Markov property of the construction safety risk evolution process is illustrated, and the analytical expression of probability density function of first-passage time of Markov-based risk-accident process is derived to calculate the construction safety probability. In the normal-process-based analysis, the construction safety probability formulas in cases of stationary normal risk process and non-stationary normal risk process with zero mean value are derived respectively. Finally, the number of accidents that may occur on construction site in a period is studied macroscopically based on Poisson process, and the probability distribution of time interval between adjacent accidents and the time of the nth accident are calculated respectively. The results provide useful reference for the prediction and management of construction accidents.
