Air Conditioner is part in a car to achieve safety and security in driving. The purpose of this study was to determine the current of the air conditioner electrical system, identify the electrical circuit and analyze the electrical circuit of the air conditioner system. This research used experimental method. The air conditioner system simulator show current and voltage generated at blower speed 1: current 15.1 A, produces a temperature of 26 ℃, blower speed 2: current 15.2 A, produces a temperature of 25 ℃, blower speed 3: current 15.5 A, yields a temperature of 24 ℃. Whereas in the car the current and voltage generated by blower speed 1: current 17.4 A, produces a temperature of 21 ℃, blower speed 2: current 17.7 A, produces a temperature of 20 ℃, blower speed 3: current 17.9 A, produces a temperature of 19 ℃. So, the higher the current has an effect on the resulting performance of the air conditioner system. And the lower the current generated, the blower, magnetic clutch and extra fan performance is not optimal when the AC system is running. Sistem Air Conditioner merupakan bagian dari mobil untuk mencapai keyamanan dan keamanan dalam berkendara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui arus sistem kelistrikan air conditioner, mengidentifikasi rangkaian kelistrikan dan menganalisis rangkaian kelistrikan sistem air conditioner. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental. Hasil pengujian arus dan tegangan yang dihasilkan pada simulator blower speed 1: arus 15,1 A, menghasilkan suhu 26℃, blower speed 2: arus 15,2 A, menghasilkan suhu 25℃, blower speed 3: arus 15,5 A, menghasilkan suhu 24℃. Sedangan pada mobil arus dan tegangan yang dihasilkan blower speed 1: arus 17,4 A, menghasilkan suhu 21℃, blower speed 2: arus 17,7 A, menghasilkan suhu 20℃, blower speed 3: arus 17,9 A, menghasilkan suhu 19℃. Jadi, semakin tinggi arus berpengaruh pada kinerja yang dihasilkan sistem air conditioner. Dan semakin rendah arus yang dihasilkan membuat kinerja blower, magnetic clutch dan extra fan menjadi tidak maksimal pada saat sistem AC bekerja.

The paper focuses on the metallographic analysis of the damaged inner shaft of a centrifugal pump with a magnetic clutch. This pump was used for the pumping of viscous suspensions. The damaged part of the centrifugal pump was made of stainless steel and transmitted power from the magnetic clutch to the impeller of the pump. The pump was overhauled by the Manufacturer after ten years of routine work. Slightly worn parts of the pump, including the inner stainless steel shaft, were replaced by the Manufacturer according to the preserved documentation. The overhauled pump failed after two days of running in the original conditions. The problematic is solved by an analysis of three used inner shafts with the aid of a metallographic analysis of the microstructure of the material, using light microscopy and scanning electron microscopy, and an EDS microanalysis of the chemical composition and hardness measurements.

An addition of centrifugal pump on the engine of automatic motorcycles is expected to become one of the solutions for fire incidents in densely populated areas in big cities. Many cases of fire-related incidents have not been handled properly due to limitations of access for fire engines such as narrow alleys. The effectiveness of the centrifugal pump for firefighter motorcycles is determined by the optimum function of the pump performance according to the desired specification. The repair of the brackets and the clutch mechanism for the pump in the engine of automatic motorcycles may assist to the full effectiveness of the pump. The repair is based on the stability of the number of cycle on the centrifugal pump during the cycle of the motorcycle engine without any load. There is no disruption to the motorcycle cruise control or an increase of load due to the addition of centrifugal pump in the motorcycle’s engine. By using the magnetic clutch which uses the electrical energy in the connection and disconnection of the joint, this model will be useful since it does not disrupt the motorcycle cruise performance and does not add an extra load to the motorcycle torso.

The production of one ton of rice straw will produce 250 kg of dry hay (Isni, 2011). A sizeable amount, straw as one of the ingredients that are very effectively used as raw material for biogas. Straw into biogas conversion value reaches 250-350 liter / kg dry weight (Arati, 2009). For a perfect straw metabolism, staw should be cut first. Enumeration is done manually is less efficient because the enumeration is done by using a knife to cut hay will produce a piece of straw that are not uniform. Good hay cutting measure is about 2-5 cm. If the straw enumeration is done by machine, then it takes the feeder to the cutting machine tool that can feed the straw so that the resulting size of 2-5 cm. To make the necessary feeder, conveyor, DC motors, magnetic clutch and infrared sensors. Conveyor serves as a carrier of straw, DC motors as actuators, magnetic clutch as conveyor control and infrared sensor as a measure of pieces of straw. After testing, show that it works and works well.

This paper presents design concept and implementation of a micro actuating mechanism that uses a single drive to operate many degrees of freedom. The challenge of this research is to reduce the complexity of the multi-dof actuator mechanism in order to optimize its size and weight so that it is small and light enough to be implemented on other robots or automatic systems where mobility is needed. For example, on the development of the automatic tuning system of multi-string music instruments like piano or harp, instead of implementing one actuator to tune each string, this paper proposed an actuator mechanism that uses a single motor to tune several strings at a time. In the proposed actuator mechanism, a new tiny magnetic clutch is designed to control the direction of the rotation. The worm gear trains are selected to hold the position of the rotation with self-locking ability, which helps prevent rotation when the clutch is disengaged. The size and weight of the mechanism are optimized to fit properly on the musical stringed instrument. In this paper, the prototype and analysis of performance of the proposed mechanism is presented.
