An Extreme Learning Machine Based Adaptive VISMA for Stability Enhancement of Renewable Rich Power Systems

Maintaining power system stability in renewable-rich power systems can be a challenging task. Generally, the renewable-rich power systems suffer from low and no inertia due to the integration of power electronics devices in renewable-based power plants. Power system oscillatory stability can also be affected due to the low and no inertia. To overcome this problem, additional devices that can emulate inertia without adding synchronous machines can be used. These devices are referred to as virtual synchronous machines (VISMA). In this paper, the enhancement of oscillatory stability of a realistic representative power system using VISMA is proposed. A battery energy storage system (BESS) is used as the VISMA by adding an additional controller to emulate the inertia. The VISMA is designed by using Fruit Fly Optimization. Moreover, to handle the uncertainty of renewable-based power plants, the VISMA parameters are designed to be adaptive using the extreme learning machine method. Java Indonesian Power Grid has been used as the test system to investigate the efficacy of the proposed method against the conventional POD method and VISMA tuning using other methods. The simulation results show that the proposed method can enhance the oscillatory stability of the power system under various operating conditions.

Analysis Sentiment Based on IMDB Aspects from Movie Reviews using SVM

A movie is a spectacle that can be done at a relaxed time. Currently, there are many movies that can be watched via the internet or cinema. Movies that are watched on the internet are sometimes charged to watch so that potential viewers before watching a movie will read comments from users who have watched the movie. The website that is often used to view movie comments today is IMDB. Movie comments are many and varied on the IMDB website, we can see comments based on the star rating aspect. This causes users to have difficulty analyzing other users' comments. So, this study aims to analyze the sentiment of opinions from several comments from IMDB website users using the star rating aspect and will be classified using the support vector machine method (SVM). Sentiment analysis is a classification process to understand the opinions, interactions, and emotions of a document or text. SVM is very efficient for many applications in science and engineering, especially for classification (pattern recognition) problems. In addition to the SVM method, the TF-IDF technique is also used to change the shape of the document into several words. The results obtained by applying the SVM model are 79% accuracy, 75% precision, and 87% recall. The SVM classification is also superior to other methods, namely logistic regression.

A note on machine method for root extraction

The present investigation deals with the critical study of the works of Lancaster and Traub, who have developed $n$th root extraction methods of a real number. It is found that their developed methods are equivalent and the particular cases of Halley's and Householder's methods. Again the methods presented by them are easily obtained from simple modifications of Newton's method, which is the extension of Heron's square root iteration formula. Further, the rate of convergency of their reported methods are studied.

Particle Swarm Optimization-based Support Vector Machine Method for Sentiment Analysis in OVO Digital Payment Applications

Sentiment analysis is used to analyze reviews of a place or item from an application or website that then classified the review into positive reviews or negative reviews. reviews from users are considered very important because it contains information that can make it easier for new users who want to choose the right digital payment. Reviews about digital payment ovo are so much that it is difficult for prospective users of ovo digital payment applications to draw conclusions about ovo digital payment information. For this reason, a classification method is needed in this study using support vector machine and PSO methods. In this study, we used 400 data that were reduced to 200 positive reviews and 200 negative reviews. The accuracy obtained by using the support vector machine method of 76.50% is in the fair classification, while the accuracy obtained by using the support vector machine and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method is 82.75% which is in good classification.

WhatsApp Chat Fraud Analysis Using Support Vector Machine Method

Fraud is one of the most cyber crime on social media. One of the popular social media in Indonesia is Whatsapp. Cases of fraud through chat on Whatsapp application often occur in Indonesia, its due to lack of information. The research conducted related to the detection of words containing fraud in WhatsApp chat application. The methods in this research applies the literature study method to find secondary data in the references theories and relevant research. The data collection is carried out by collecting chats that lead to fraud cases and then processing them using RapidMiner application with SVM (Support Vector Mechine) method. The results of this research can be concluded that this research succeeded in implementing SVM algorithm for whatsapp fraud chat analysis with an accuracy rate of 84.21%

SENTIMENT ANALYSIS OF THE LARGE PRIEST OF FPI’S RETURN USING SUPPORT VECTOR MACHINE WITH OVERSAMPLING METHOD

At the end of 2020, Habib Rizieq's return to Indonesia drew criticism from the public for causing crowds during the Covid-19 pandemic. News and opinions about Habib Rizieq fill internet platforms, including Twitter. The researcher wants to classify the opinion text data of Habib Rizieq's return from Twitter into positive and negative sentiments using the Support Vector Machine method. Opinion data comes from Twitter, so the data is analyzed by text mining through the preprocessing stage. The SVM classification of unbalanced data between positive and negative classes resulted in 95.06% accuracy with a negative class precision value of 84% and better than 72% recall, in the positive class the precision value was 96% less than 2% of recall 98%. While the SVM classification with the oversampling method gets 100% accuracy, precision, and recall. The results of positive sentiments are known that the public will always support and want freedom for Rizieq, for negative sentiments it is known that many people are disappointed with Rizieq regarding the lies of his swab test results.
