Objective: This study aimed to contribute to understanding the mechanisms underlying the association between empowering motivational climate in physical education and social responsibility among high school students, and have important implications for interventions aimed at improving social responsibility among high school students. Methods: Through the quota sampling, 802 students (average age = 17 years, SD = 0.97 years) that complied with the requirements were surveyed from Anhui Province in China. Empowering motivational climate in physical education, social responsibility, interpersonal disturbance, and general self-efficacy were assessed using standard scales. For data analysis, Pearson’s correlation analysis, structural equation model test, and bias-corrected percentile Bootstrap method were carried out in turn. Results: (1) Common method biases can be accepted in this study, and the correlation among empowering motivational climate in physical education, social responsibility, interpersonal disturbance, and general self-efficacy are all significant; (2)Empowering motivational climate in physical education, interpersonal disturbance and general self-efficacy can all predict social responsibility significantly; (3) Structural equation modeling indicates good fit: χ2/df = 2.86, RMESA = 0.068, CFI = 0.92, NNFI = 0.91, NFI = 0.90, GFI = 0.93. It indicates that interpersonal disturbance and general self-efficacy can play mediating roles between empowering motivational climate in physical education and social responsibility, respectively. After that, interpersonal disturbance as well as general self-efficacy in turn plays the chain mediating effect in the relationship between empowering motivational climate in physical education and social responsibility. The effect size of the mediating effect of interpersonal disturbance and general self-efficacy in the relationship between empowering motivational climate in physical education and social responsibility is 0.048 and 0.148, respectively, and the effect size of the chain mediating effect is 0.031.Conclusion: Empowering motivational climate in physical education not only has a direct effect on social responsibility among high school students, but also influences social responsibility by the chain mediating effect of interpersonal disturbance and general self-efficacy.

IntroductionOpium dependence is a worldwide problem, that has developed beyond the health - care border line.ObjectiveThere are a lot of foreign studies about psychiatric disorders in the opium dependent families. But those are a few in our culture and geographic area.AimsThe aim of this study is comparing of psychiatric disorders between opium dependent and non dependent families in Arak-Iran in 2010.Materials & methodThis is a case - control study that carried on 230 families of 87 opium dependent subjects attending to the withdrawal clinics as case group and 420 families of 174 opium nondependents as control group who attended to the blood transfusion center in Arak -Iran by using SCL-90 Questionnaire. Then analyzed data by using Spss 15 in order for comparing different psychiatric disorders in them.ResultDepression, Generalized anxiety disorder, hostility and paranoia were significantly different in three pathological types such as borderline, disorder and combined disorders (Pvalue < 0.05) in opium dependent and non-dependent families, but there were not Significantly different between other disorders such as somatization, Obsessive-compulsive, interpersonal disturbance, phobia and psychotic disorder in that questionnaires SCL90-R were measured (P value > 0.05). Psychiatric disorders as overall were significantly differences in opium dependent and non-dependent families (p < 0.05).ConclusionAccording to our finding a number of psychiatric disorders are more common in opium dependent families. Therefore further studies in this area and families with other substance dependence subjects were suggested.

AbstractPeople with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) typically experience their relationships with others with a high level of trepidation and bring their anxieties into their work with professionals. We have written this paper to describe experiences of working with people with diagnoses of OCD and the impression that we have formed about the kinds of relationship that builds up in the early stages of this work. We believe that it is important to consider the quality of these professional relationships because of their impact on the patient's ability to benefit from whatever intervention we propose. Here, we place particular attention on the roles of magical thinking, disturbed relationships and the fear of rejection. The perspective presented here is designed to complement those of other approaches to OCD – including the neurological, behavioural and cognitive-behavioural. The following themes relating to the social and interpersonal experiences of people with OCD are examined here: (a) their general tentativeness and uncertainty in social interactions, (b) their fear of being damaged by others in social interactions, (c) their magical thinking relating to damaging others.

Two preceding investigations in this series studied the ideational and motoric dimensions separately. The current study dealt with the motoric-ideational interactions and the four derived expressive styles. It was hypothesized that Ss more highly developed in both the ideational and motoric spheres (HIHM) should show the least emotional, social, and interpersonal disturbance of the four stylistic groups while those low in both (LILM) should show the greatest disturbance. Those high in ideational but low in motoric (HILM) should rank second to the HIHM stylistic group in social and interpersonal effectiveness while the low ideational, high motoric (LIHM) should be more effective than the LILM but less than both the HIHM and HILM styles. Ss for the quadrants were drawn from a total sample of 971 prison inmates. The instrument used for measurement and classification of the motoric-ideational styles was the MIAPS. The hypotheses for the most part were confirmed, the exception being that LIHM showed the poorest adaptiveness and effectiveness in a number of measures. Characteristics of these stylistic groups in relation to vocational preference and intellectual and academic achievement were also presented. These results were discussed in relation to theoretical formulations as well as empirical findings from other studies pertaining to the ideational and motoric dimensions.
