The objective of the work is to design and analysis of a press tool for component clamping plate which is used in automobile to meet the production requirement of 2,00, 000 components for an automobile. To achieve this press tool having combination of operations like blanking, piercing and bending is designed for producing a clamping plate in a single stroke in two stages and to optimize production rate and manufacturing cost. Based on features in the component, compound die is designed which can perform blanking and piecing operation in first stage followed by bending operation in the second stage. The structural analysis was carried out for the forming dies and punches which shows that both the deflections and the stresses are well within the limits.

Additive manufacturing is proposed as a novel alternative to coin blank’s production routes based on rolling, blanking and edge rimming. The presentation draws from laser powder bed fusion of cylinders, slicing into individual coin blanks by electro discharge machining and surface preparation by polishing, to coin minting in a laboratory press-tool system. Special emphasis is given to material deposition and coin minting due to the originality of producing coin blanks with complex intricate contoured holes and to the necessity of subjecting the additive manufactured coin blanks to extreme compressive stresses that are typical of coin minting. Numerical and experimental results confirm the excellent performance of the additive manufactured coin blanks. The new design layouts included in the additive manufactured coin blanks open the way to produce high value-added singular collector coins, which are disruptively different from those available in the market nowadays.

AbstractThe development of internet-based technology has become a media for spreading information which is faster and more efficient than other media, such as print and electronic media. It is what drives a number of business owners to start exploring the digital world by opening websites and social media to promote their businesses. Multi Jaya Press is a company in Banyumas Regency which is engaged in the sale of motorcycle press tool and workshop installation services. In the marketing process,, Multi Jaya Press uses media in the form of a website which is located at www.superbengkel.co.id. The use of the website is still not optimal for searching several targeted keywords, thus the website is difficult to be found by the google search engine organically. Generally, a website owner will make a quick decision to solve this problem using paid Google ads. Although it can appear on the top page of google search, the use of paid Google ads will cost a lot of money. It is clearly seen when a website uses google ads, it will be labeled as an "advertisement". Therefore, a suitable strategy is needed to increase the position of keywords on the website www.superbengkel.co.id on the Google search page or the Search Engine Results Page (SERP). One of that strategy is the use of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Multi Jaya Press merupakan salah satu perusahaan di Kabupaten Banyumas yang bergerak dalam bidang penjualan alat press sepeda motor dan jasa instalasi bengkel. Dalam pemasarannya, Multi Jaya Press menggunakan media berupa website yang beralamat di www.superbengkel.co.id. Penggunaan website ini pun masih belum optimal, terutama dalam pencarian beberapa kata kunci yang ditargetkan. Hal ini menyebabkan website sulit ditemukan oleh mesin pencari google secara organik. Umumnya, seorang pemilik website akan mengambil keputusan secara cepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan iklan berbayar dari google. Meskipun dapat tampil di halaman teratas pencarian google, akan tetapi penggunaan iklan seperti ini akan memakan biaya yang tidak sedikit. Terlebih ketika sebuah website menggunakan iklan dari google, maka akan dilabeli ‘iklan’ yang memungkinkan pengguna google lain tidak mau mengunjungi website tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang cocok untuk menaikkan posisi kata kunci pada website www.superbengkel.co.id di halaman pencarian google atau Search Engine Results Page (SERP), salah satunya dengan menggunakan Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Press working is defined as a non -chip removal manufacturing process by which various components are made from sheet metal. There are various types of components are produced from sheet metal operation. The main aim of this project is to "Design and fabrication of drawing die used in the fly press”. The design aspects of drawing die is accomplished in CATIA v5 and ansys 15.0 software. As coming to the manufacturing of drawing die, drawing die are manufactured in hot-chamber process which has the capacity to cast high melting point materials. The press tool leads to different operations namely blanking, drawing, trimming, bending, lancing, perforating, curling and shaving operations. Generally, drawing operation is the process of producing cylindrical objects. There is a vast use of press tools in industries like defense, textile, automobile, aircraft and food processing. The press machine is of the hand-operated fly press.

Press tools can produce products in bulk with uniform quality and short time. The automation system applied to this press tool is a system to help channel metal plates to the press tool automatically called a feeder so that it can be called an automatic press tool. The technique that will be applied in this press tool is blanking technique. Blanking is a product of forming results that is used and is produced from one single cutting process with all forms of contour being cut in full, or the result of gradual cutting with the press tool. This research aims to design and prototype an automatic press tool to produce cake mold blanking using a pneumatic system that can work more effectively and efficiently. The research method was carried out in several stages, namely the design phase, the manufacturing stage, the assembly stage and the data analysis. The results obtained from this study produce automatic press tool blanking cake molds with a pneumatic system that is given a maximum compressive strength of 8 bars and a pressure force of 6280 N. This tool is able to produce aluminum blanking results on average of 17 to 18 pieces per minute without requiring a load high operator work.

Scattred industrial trash on mechanical company’s workshop will be dangerous for operator and employee. The aims of this research are to design, analyze and compare the function of automatic press tool of machining trash to a manual process. Method of this research are designing, manufacturing and testing. A tool was designed using inventor software, assembled and manufactured, then tested. As results, trash becomes neater, smaller, thus easier moved to the recycle process. It can operate with 2 ton maximum pressure and dimention 28,6 cm x 28,6 cm with 25 cm depth. Press tool  produces an average pressing time with an automatic system 21.89 sec and reduction in space volume 7.670,7 mm3,whereas manual process, average pressing time 34,38 sec, space volume reduction 5.887,3 mm3.

Pekerjaan pembentukan logam (metal forming) pada industri permesinan maupun pabrikasi las saat ini sangat banyak permintaan khususnya pada pekerjaan yang memerlukan proses bending. Proses bending merupakan pembentukan logam yang umumnya menggunakan lembaran pelat atau batang, baik dari bahan logam ferro maupun logam non ferro dengan cara ditekuk, yang mana dalam proses pembengkokan akan menyebabkan terjadinya pemuluran atau peregangan pada sumbu bidang netral sepanjang daerah bendingan dan menghasilkan garis bending yang lurus. Penggunaan teknologi tepat guna telah banyak digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi, dan efektivitas dalam proses produksi pada industri permesinan maupun pabrikasi las berskala kecil dan menengah. Salah satu teknologi tepat guna yang memungkinkan diterapkan dalam proses produksi khususnya pekerjaan bending pelat yaitu mesin atau alat press bearing dengan cara menambahkan dengan press tool yang dilengkapi punch dan die penekuk. Press tool adalah salah satu jenis alat bantu pembentukan, pemotongan dan penekukan produk dari bahan dasar lembaran pelat yang operasinya menggunakan mesin press. Dari penelitian telah diciptakan press tool yang dilengkapi punch penekuk dan die berbentuk V air bending. Adapun spesifikasi press tool ini yaitu: sudut punch sama dengan 85o, radius punch sama dengan 1.5 mm, panjang punch sama dengan 300 mm, sudut die sama dengan 85o, lebar bukaan die sama dengan 33 mm, jarak langkah sama dengan 19 mm.
