Suspended monorails are a common mode of transportation for materials and personnel in underground mines. The goal of the EU-funded project “Innovative High Efficiency Power System for Machines and Devices, Increasing the Level of Work Safety in Underground Mining Excavations (HEETII)” is to introduce a single-wire energy transmission system combined with a capacitive-coupling-based wireless transmission system to power the suspended tractor, along with a monitoring system that will monitor the energy network and additional environmental parameters of the mine. Additionally, the monitoring system acts as the wireless communication backbone, allowing for data transmission to surface headquarters, where the data are processed and logged in a central database. This enables operators to detect and take preemptive measures to prevent potential hazards in the mine, improving the overall efficiency of the energy transmission system. This paper describes the additional considerations required for electrical systems in underground mines with potentially explosive atmospheres, as well as the design of the energy transmission system and the monitoring system.

In this study, a bidirectional CL3C full-bridge resonant converter was developed using a bidirectional active bridge converter as the main framework to improve conventional LLC resonant converters. A resonant inductor and resonant capacitor were installed at the secondary side of the developed resonant converter. The bidirectional operation of this converter enables zero-voltage switching at the supply-side power switch and zero-current switching at the load side. The aforementioned phenomena enhance the overall circuit efficiency and enable the resonant tank voltage to be increased in the reverse mode, which cannot be achieved with conventional bidirectional LLC resonant converters. The electrical equipment isolation function provided by a transformer made electricity usage safer, and digital control technology was adopted to control electrical energy conversion and simulate bidirectional energy conversion. Specifically, the experiment and simulation emulated how the developed converter enables energy transmission from a DC grid to a battery energy storage system through constant current–constant voltage charging and energy transmission from a battery energy storage system to a DC grid through constant power discharging.

As transmitters of the New Paradigm and psychospiritual templates that the planet needs in this time of transformation, extreme-state experiencers are the key to our evolution, and thus we need to honor them as such. Radical humanism is an expansion and deepening of our empathy, a call-to-action, and a way of telling the story differently. We are asked as therapists to be nothing less than liaisons to the oracular. We look to Jung, Laing, Rogers, and contemporary lineage holders in these synergistic and co-catalytic ways of holding and working with extreme states to shine light upon the potent and often misunderstood or pathologized realms of the chaotic and ecstatic, the devastating, blissful, and the overwhelming contact with the gnosis, beings, and energies that lie therein. We carry forth the work in our sessions that are part confessional, part energy transmission, and always opportunities for us to expand what we think we know about what is happening and how we feel about ourselves, these times, and our role in healing on all levels that is being offered in each moment that we are in our role as Sacred Witness and midwife to soul rebirth.

The general dynamic characteristics of the acoustic cavity with multiple partial partitions are presented in this thesis. A theoretical model has been developed for predictions, and several configurations are analyzed. To describe the apertures on the interface of subcavities, the virtual air panel assumption is introduced into the improved Fourier series system. The governing equations of the coupling system are derived by using the energy principle. The results obtained with the proposed model are firstly compared with the numerical calculations based on the finite element method (FEM). Subsequently, a configuration made up from a rigid cavity partitioned by a partial steel panel has been specifically built, and the forced responses of the coupling system have been measured for comparison and model validation. The present results are excellent over most of the studied frequency range. Furthermore, the visualizations of the interior sound intensity field of the acoustic cavity with three partial partitions under different frequencies are researched to illustrate the energy transmission paths and vibro-acoustic coupling mechanism of the complicated system. The obtained results are believed to be helpful in the optimal design of the vibro-acoustic coupling system with optimal sound insulation capacity.
