At present, mobile devices are a medium of learning in school that is enjoyable with educational content. They are becoming as a part of daily life with new software games, which are considered as entertainment. As we all know, a word search game has been implemented on mobile devices for decades. It facilitates English vocabulary acquisition of students. The word search game on mobile devices allows education to be delivered in a more flexible way, anytime and anywhere at the students’ own place. To this paper, a survey is conducted to target Thai students at Bangkok University, Thailand. Therefore the word search game on smart phones embedded with the English dictionary, which helps Thai students to memorize the words is developed. Additionally, the process in developing the word search game on smart phones has been presented. It is expected that our research findings in English learning on mobile devices for Thai students will be further shared in the future.

The purpose of the research is to find out whether there is any significant effect of the word search game compared to the board game towards the students’ vocabulary mastery at the fourth grade SD Swasta Karya Tani Kandis. The design used in this research is experimental research. The location for this research was at SD Swasta Karya Tani Kandis. The vocabulary test was used to find out the students’ ability in vocabulary. The result of this research shown that the data obtained from the students’ pre-test to find the homogeneity to see the equal ability from both classes.  and post-test scores of experimental classes 1 and 2 to know the different scores of two experimental classes. The test was to answer the questions based on the vocabulary test. Before treatment, the researcher gave the pre-test to IVA (experiment class 1) and IVB (experiment class 2). The researcher taught within 6 (Six) meetings including pre-test and post-test.  Based on the data analysis it can be seen that Sig < 0,000. The value of sig (2-tailed) was 0.03 and it was lower than significant probabilities 5% (P< 0.05) in post-test experimental classes 1 and 2. Furthermore, there is a significant effect of using Word Search  Game toward students’ vocabulary mastery fourth grade SD Swasta  Karya Tani Kandis between experimental groups 1 and 2. In conclusion, there was a significant effect of using Word Search  Game toward students’ vocabulary mastery.

This research was aimed to find out the effectiveness of Memory Tricks game in teaching grammar. The research was experimental research and the design that was used was pre-test and post-test design. The population of the study was the first grade students of SMKN 1 Kuripan especially in TKJ (TeknikKomputer and Jaringan) course which consisted of three classes. Two classes were chosen as the samples, those were TKJ 1 Class as experimental group consisted of thirty five students and TKJ 3 Class as control group consisted thirty five students. They were chosen by usingSimple Random Sampling technique. Experimental group was treated by Memory Tricks game and control group was treated by Verb Search game. The instrument that was used objective test in forms of completion items test. Then, the scores were analyzed by using statistical analysis. It showed the mean score of experimental group was 76 while the mean score control group was 69.2 and the value of t (t test) = 2,7922 was higher than the value of  (t table) = 1.9955 at the significance level of 0.05% and the number of degree freedom (68). Therefore, according to the result of the analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between student’s grammar scores taught by Memory Tricks game and taught by Verb Search game. In other words, Memory Tricks game is effective in teaching grammar.

We consider a differential simple search game without phase constraints on the plane. Each pursuer from the team chooses an initial position and piecewise constant strategy. As an example, the game of simple search of immobile hider (evader) on the plane is considered, and the necessary conditions for detection are found. For cases with two and three pursuers, a comparison of the detection time of the evader was made and approximate information sets numerically constructed.
