The purpose of the article is to determine the features of the color component of interior design and to identify the aesthetic and artistic features of the color scheme of a modern work area on the example of the capital's coworking centers. Methodology. Art and art analysis in the aspect of design creativity is applied; structural-semiotic analysis, which involves the identification of symbolic, differentiating functions that are embedded in the color of the interior of the coworking center; the method of structural analysis, which contributed to the study of sign systems of the color of the interior of coworking centers with the decoding of the meanings embedded in them; method of comparative analysis, which establishes common features in the perception of color by modern man, identified the characteristics of the role of color in the interior design of the workspace. Scientific novelty. The semantic significance of color in the interior design of a coworking space is studied; the informativeness of color is analyzed on the basis of three parameters (tone, saturation, and brightness); the compositional and decorative function of color is considered; the aesthetic and artistic features of the color scheme of the modern work area are revealed on the example of Kyiv coworking centers and the priority color scale is determined, which contributes to the increase of working capacity. Conclusions. The basis of color perception – physiological, psychological, and aesthetic factors that determine color associations, semantics, and symbolism of color – are ancient archetypes formed under the influence of socio-economic and sacred factors. A variety of color harmonies are widely used in modern workspaces, in the process of organizing production processes, to create psychological accents that improve performance and reduce fatigue. In the context of coworking center design, the approach to color interior design is based primarily on the desire to create an atmosphere that promotes positive emotions, inspires workers to cooperate and productivity. The study found that the rich creative source of the artistic image of the interior of the coworking center is played by archetypes, which involve the image-associative thinking of designers. The color component is not limited to the characteristic scales that meet the latest trends – it is much wider and demonstrates the diversity of design searches. Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) is a robust descriptor which is widely used in many real-life applications, including human detection, face recognition, object counting, and video surveillance. In order to extract HOG descriptor from color images whose information is three times more than the grayscale images, researchers currently apply the maximum magnitude selection method. This method makes the information of the resulted image is reduced by selecting the maximum magnitudes. However, after we extract HOG using the unselected magnitudes of the maximum magnitude selection method, we observe that the performance is better than using the maximum magnitudes in several cases. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a novel approach for extracting HOG from color images such as Color Component Selection and Color Component Fusion. We also propose the extended kernels in order to improve the performance of HOG. With our new approaches in the color component analysis, the experimental results of several facial benchmark datasets are enhanced with the increment from 3 to 10% of accuracy. Specifically, a 95.92% of precision is achieved on the Face AR database and 75% on the Georgia Face database. The results are better more than 10 times compared with the original HOG approach.

The relevance of the problem under study is due to the multicultural situation in the modern society, as well as the need in understanding between peoples. The object of the study is to analyze the factors that cause the development of phraseological units with the component of color in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian. The methods used in the work include the descriptive-comparative methods, as well as the method of analysis. The results of the article allow to see the zero equivalence of phraseological units with this or that color component and to understand the reasons of it. The materials of the work can be useful for the further comparative, typological, linguistic-cultural and ethnic-linguistic studies of the other languages, for making of various phraseological dictionaries of color terms, etc.

Image hashing has attracted more and more attention in the field of information security. In this paper, a novel hashing algorithm using cool and warm hue information and three-dimensional space angle is proposed. Firstly, the original image is preprocessed to get the opposite color component and the hue component H in HSV color space. Then, the distribution of cool and warm hue pixels is extracted from hue component H. Blocks the hue component H, according to the proportion of warm hue and cool hue pixels in each small block, combined with the quaternion and opposite color component, constructed the cool and warm hue opposite color quaternion (CWOCQ) feature. Then, three-dimensional space, opposite color, and cool and warm hue are combined to obtain the three-dimensional space angle (TDSA) feature. The CWOCQ feature and the TDSA feature are connected and disturbed to obtain the final hash sequence. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has good security and has better image classification performance and shorter computation time compared with some advanced algorithms.
