The “Doppler boosting / de-boosting” relativistic effect increases / decreases the apparent luminosity of approaching / receding sources of radiation. This effect was analyzed in detail within the Special Relativity framework and was confirmed in many astronomical observations. It is however not clear if “Doppler boosting / de-boosting” exists in the framework of General Relativity as well, and if it exists, which equations describe it. The “Einstein’s elevator” and Einstein’s “Equivalence principle” allow to obtain the formula for “Doppler boosting / de-boosting” for a uniform gravitational field within the vicinity of the emitter/receiver. Under these simplified conditions, the ratio ℳ between apparent (L) and intrinsic (Lo) luminosity can be conveniently represented using source’s spectral index α and gravitational redshift z as ℳ(z, α) ≡ L/Lo=(z+1)^(α-3). This is the first step towards the complete set of equations that describe the gravitational "Doppler boosting / de-boosting" effect within the General Relativity framework including radial gravitational field and arbitrary values of distance h between emitter and receiver.

Abstract Mutations of legendary Galileo falling bodies experiment with non-living objects in a non-isolated environment demonstrate that the recoverable internal motions of falling bodies can bind and polarize gravity over conventional Newtonian mass inertia. Bio quantum path experiments further interpret the binding mechanism and reveal the isolated logic restriction of Einstein’s equivalence principle. Mutations of the Cavendish experiment unveil 109 levels of gravitational differences between living and dead states. Mutations of the Galileo falling body experiments for living beings confirmed that such differences come from recoverable internal motion surface tension gravitational binding that can be calibrated as a measurable bio-inertia. We then calibrated the falling height difference for human in vivo bio-inertia on a commercial 10m diving platform and verified 98% of populations on Earth can safely be tested in this way with enough preparation training. In vivo lifetime gravitational binding curve that governs all biological parameters and reveals life evolutionary mechanisms becomes technologically feasible. These results, along with various facts, modulate the gravitational multi-surface tension region resonating model of in vivo bio quantum path inversion superposition. Photoelectric effect, PCR, GPCR, ancient CSF-ligament human Kungfu training systems, music harmonics, and board observations physically sustain this model. Newtonian Third Laws of motion are therefore evolved into Basic Laws of Evolution originates from surface tension non-unitary time inversion superposition that is different from the mathematical superposition in quantum mechanics; original memory negentropy is also disciplinarily integrated.

AbstractEinstein’s Equivalence Principle implies that the Lorentz force equation can be derived from a geodesic equation by imposing a certain (necessary) condition on the electromagnetic potential (Trzetrzelewski, EPL 120:4, 2018). We analyze the quantization of that constraint and find the corresponding differential equations for the phase of the wave function. We investigate these equations in the case of Coulomb potential and show that physically acceptable solutions do not exist. This result signals an inconsistency between Einstein’s Equivalence Principle and Relativistic Quantum Mechanics at an atomic level.

ABSTRACT The observed time delays between photons with different circular polarizations from an astrophysical object provide a new, interesting way of testing the Einstein Equivalence Principle (EEP). In this paper, we constrain the EEP by considering both Shapiro time delay and Faraday rotation effects. We continue to search for astronomical sources that are suitable for testing the EEP accuracy, and obtain 60 extragalactic radio sources with multiwavelength polarization angles in three different radio bands (20, 8.6, and 4.8 GHz) and 29 brightest stars within our own Milky Way galaxy with multicolour linear polarimetric data in five optical bands (UBVRI). We apply the Metropolis–Hastings Markov Chain to simulate the fit parameters. The final results show that the values of the parametrized post-Newtonian parameter γ discrepancy (Δγp) are constrained to be in the range of 10−26 − 10−23 for 60 radio sources and in the range of 10−23 − 10−20 for 29 optical polarization stars. Compared to previous EEP tests that based on the single polarization measurement in the gamma-ray band, our results have profound superiority that nearly a few tens of astrophysical sources with multiwavelength polarization observations commonly in the optical and radio bands are available. It ensures that these sources can give more significantly robust bounds on the EEP. Although the presented method is straightforward, the resulting constraints on the EEP should be taken as upper limits as other more complex astrophysical effects affecting a polarization rotation are hardly considered.

It is a tantalising possibility that quantum gravity (QG) states remaining coherent at astrophysical, galactic and cosmological scales could exist and that they could play a crucial role in understanding macroscopic gravitational effects. We explore, using only general principles of General Relativity, quantum and statistical mechanics, the possibility of using long-range QG states to describe black holes. In particular, we discuss in a critical way the interplay between various aspects of long-range quantum gravity, such as the holographic bound, classical and quantum criticality and the recently proposed quantum thermal generalisation of Einstein’s equivalence principle. We also show how black hole thermodynamics can be easily explained in this framework.

We review our recent theoretical results about inequivalence between passive gravitational mass and energy for a composite quantum body at a macroscopic level. In particular, we consider macroscopic ensembles of the simplest composite quantum bodies — hydrogen atoms. Our results are as follows. For the most ensembles, the Einstein’s Equivalence Principle is valid. On the other hand, we discuss that for some special quantum ensembles — ensembles of the coherent superpositions of the stationary quantum states in the hydrogen atoms (which we call Gravitational demons) — the Equivalence Principle between passive gravitational mass and energy is broken. We show that, for such superpositions, the expectation values of passive gravitational masses are not related to the expectation values of energies by the famous Einstein’s equation, i.e. [Formula: see text]. Possible experiments at the Earth’s laboratories are briefly discussed, in contrast to the numerous attempts and projects to discover the possible breakdown of the Einstein’s Equivalence Principle during the space missions.
