The phenomenon of digitization has changed human civilization at a very massive level in various aspects of life. In line with the advancement of ICT, so have the development of innovation and the software and digital content industry. Competition in the software industry is starting to develop. The ability to increase the company's production is starting to show significant changes. Industry competition in the globalization process requires existing companies to be able to develop industrial capabilities with all industrial models and policies. The role of government is still an important factor in creating an environment in which the domestic telematics industry can gain a competitive advantage. This study aims to map the potential of the digital content and software application industry in Indonesia. This study was conducted qualitatively through literature studies. The output of this study produces a mapping of the potential for the software and digital content industry in Indonesia. The results of this study can support recommendations for policies related to the development of the software application industry and digital content in Indonesia

Although building information modeling (BIM) has been widely adopted in the building industry for several decades, the use of BIM in the context of transportation infrastructure has been slow in terms of both adoption and application. Industry and academia are increasingly making efforts to adopt BIM for other non-building civil infrastructure but, so far, there has not been a comprehensive review of these efforts specifically regarding transportation. This paper explores BIM implementation in an infrastructure design project. An Autodesk ® BIM-based tool, Civil 3D, is proposed as a potential BIM tool platform. This paper also focuses on modeling specific road elements not editable from the standard library, such as guardrails and retaining walls, as well as proposing different solutions using Revit and Subassembly Composer and analyzing the interoperability among BIM-based tools.

In this study, some approaches have been proposed to establish an alternative and option of brand-new compounds by using green sources that can minimize the environmental threat in the engineering application industry. Tannin, a chemical component extracted from plant origin, has the potential to bind with proteins and other polymers. The description of tannin can be amplified to cover a complete mass of constituents which give typical phenolic reactions, and hence, it has the properties to interact with the aqueous solution. The potential of tannin to associate allows its usability in the oil and gas industry. The aim of this review in this particular context will be emphasized the use of tannin in the implementation of drilling fluid, mercury removal, wastewater treatment, and corrosion inhibitor.

Internet of Things is an intelligence devices that can connect to any other devices. Based on that ability to connect and its intelligence, it makes people to create an intelligence device and capable to learn like human brain. To accomplish that goal, machine learning is the solution. Combination between machine learning and IoT generate a revolution in human life and application industry. The combination also generate new trend in market. Therefore, in this paper will be discuss about machine learning including machine learning technique and algorithm and also discuss about IoT including architecture and elements. Then in this paper will discuss about some researches that have already done that combine IoT with machine learning approach, including issue and challenge in those researches.

University-industry partnerships are common in the Sciences, but less so in the Humanities. As a result, there is little understanding of how they work in the Humanities. Using the Implementing New Knowledge Environments: Networked Open Social Scholarship (INKE:NOSS) initiative as a case study, this paper contributes to this discussion by examining the nature of the university-industry partnership with libraries and academic-adjacent organizations, and associated benefits, challenges, measures of success, and outcomes. Interviews were conducted with the collaboration’s industry partners. After several years of collaboration on the development of a grant application, industry partners have found the experience of working with academics to be a positive one overall. Industry partners are contributing primarily in-kind resources in the form of staff time, travel to meetings, and reading and commenting on documents. They have also been able to realize benefits while negotiating the challenges. Using qualitative standards, measures of success and desired outcomes are being articulated. This work developing the partnership should stand the larger INKE:NOSS team in good stead if they are successful with securing grant funding.
