Project schedule management is an important part of prefabricated construction project management. General contracting is an effective way to promote the development of prefabricated construction. However, at present, from the perspective of general contracting, the risk factors affecting the project progress of prefabricated buildings are not clear, and the relationship between risks is not known. The purpose of this study is to study the composition, hierarchical structure and transmission path of schedule risk factors of prefabricated construction in general contracting mode, so as to help the general contractor formulate effective schedule risk avoidance measures. This study uses grounded theory to obtain 22 risk factors that affect the progress of assembly building projects, and the data are from expert interviews. Using Delphi method and interpretative structural modeling (ISM), these factors are divided into seven levels, and the ISM model of schedule risk factors is constructed. The research shows that there are 60 progress risk transmission paths, and four progress risk transfer chains are obtained. This paper also further analyzes and puts forward suggestions to avoid risks for each level. Doi: 10.28991/CEJ-2022-08-01-010 Full Text: PDF

In order to achieve more efficient management of BIM technology in the field of tunnel construction, this paper took Zhuhai Dahengqinshan No. 1 Tunnel as the project background and studied the visualization management technology of tunnel construction process based on BIM technology. Firstly, we created the 3D geological model and tunnel BIM model by using Revit, 3dsmax, and other software. Secondly, the detailed design was carried out, and there was no gap in the model after the detailed design was checked by ABAQUS software. Then, we checked the problems between disciplines and conducted collision inspection in the model. Finally, we carried out the 4D construction progress simulation to solve the conflict between time and space in the whole life cycle of tunnel construction. The results revealed that the deepening design could optimize the design scheme of tunnel construction engineering. Collision inspection directly exposed problems such as unscientific site layout. 4D construction schedule management could not only realize the visualization of field construction process but also improve the quality of project management compared with traditional means. The research results provide technical experience for the visualization management of tunnel construction.

The increasing complexity and enormity of construction projects, as well as the fact that the actual operation of construction schedule management still mainly relies on traditional manual management methods, have led to low efficiency of construction schedule management and caused many construction projects to have cost overruns and legal disputes due to schedule delays. Existing 3D reconstruction algorithms often lead to significant voids, distortions, or blurred parts in the reconstructed 3D models, while the machine learning-based 3D reconstruction algorithms are often only to reconstruct simple separated objects and represent them as 3D boxes. A novel architecture of semisupervised 3D reconstruction algorithm is proposed. The algorithm iteratively improves the quality of the original 3D reconstruction model by training a generative adversarial network model to a converged state. Only the prior observed 2D images are required as weakly supervised samples, without any dependence on prior knowledge of the 3D structure shape or reference observations. Experimental results show that this algorithmic framework has significant advantages over the current state-of-the-art 3D reconstruction methods on the standard 3D reconstruction test set.

The purpose of Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) general contracting project schedule management is to ensure that the project meets its deadlines, and it plays a critical role in contract performance. In comparison to the domestic general contracting model, project management and coordination are more complex for the general contractor of international EPC projects. As a result, scientific project schedule process control is critical to effectively ensuring project duration, saving project costs, improving project management level, and project quality, and ensuring that the project achieves the promised advantages for both the contractor and the owner. Through the research and analysis of the status of the schedule management of the Indonesia B Project Phase II cement project, corresponding optimization measures are proposed for the project schedule process control.

The arrangment of teaching schedule at Yayasan Perguruan Harapan Stabat is still not effective as it is done manually. The scheduling process is less accurate, takes a long time in terms of scheduling and delivering information to teachers and students. There are a number of teaching schedules for teachers that are not suitable and clashes occur. In this research, an Android and web application-based system is designed to solve these problems. The system is designed using Android Studio to build Android-based applications, while on the backend for schedule management a web-based system is provided using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The new system designed can be accessed online by teachers and students so that the delivery of teaching schedules is more effective, fast and accurate.
