Appropriate Distraction Strength For Metatarsophalangeal Joint Arthroscopy

This study is to investigate the natural metatasophalangeal joint (MTP) distance, the appropriate degree of distraction and the associated factors including age, gender, body mass index(BMI). Regarding natural MTP joint space size, the MTP-2 joint had the largest joint size (2.39 ± 0.37 mm). The MTP-5 joint had the smallest joint size (1.59 ± 0.34 mm). In MTP joint arthroscopy, traction power of 10 lbs is sufficient for appropriate distraction for all MTP joints while traction power of 5 lbs is an appropriate power for distraction of the MTP-2 joint. Manual traction is generally not appropriate for distraction because it is not consistent or sufficient. Less distraction power is required for males than for females, especially for MTP-1, MTP-3, and MTP-4 joints.

STREAMER MODE OF POSITIVE CORONA

One cycle of quasi-periodic streamer mode of positive corona at constant voltage is considered. The calculation results for the streamer propagation at a voltage near to threshold of the streamer mode and for the stage of partial release of the gap from the ions are presented. The simplified model of ionization development near the anode before the start of the next streamer is considered and it is estimated the ionized space size, from which the streamer propagation begins.

The human life aspect’s is concerned with measure activities that geometry context, such as study of plane, space, size and position. Students’ faced the difficulty in understanding concept and interpreting of direction of a transformed geometry object. To solved this difficulty students’ need mathematics learning media which able to clarify transformation context. The aim of this research to know the characteristics and description of mathematics learning media of based computer on geometry transformation context which is should be preliminary research phase. This research was using Plomp model. This model consist to preliminary research phase. This research found that mathematics learning media of based computer on the geometry transformation context was preliminary research phase.
