The human life aspect’s is concerned with measure activities that geometry context, such as study of plane, space, size and position. Students’ faced the difficulty in understanding concept and interpreting of direction of a transformed geometry object. To solved this difficulty students’ need mathematics learning media which able to clarify transformation context. The aim of this research to know the characteristics and description of mathematics learning media of based computer on geometry transformation context which is should be preliminary research phase. This research was using Plomp model. This model consist to preliminary research phase. This research found that mathematics learning media of based computer on the geometry transformation context was preliminary research phase.

The development of the world of education in Indonesia can not be separated from the influence of globalization, science and technology are always growing rapidly give a comprehensive impact on all aspects of human life, including the sector of education. Resilient and competitive human resources are needed to meet these challenges. Thus, the need to know about Adversity Quotient of a person to know how far a person can survive and overcome the difficulty. Mathematics which is a universal science underlies the development of modern technology and has an important role in various disciplines. The development of problem-solving abilities is also one of the most important aspects in the objectives of mathematics learning, especially on sequence materials and arithmetic series. Arithmetic sequences and series became a very important mathematical concept because of its wide application, so widely used in daily life. So this qualitative research is done with the aim to describe the process of solving the problem of rows and arithmetic series of junior high school students based on Adversity Quotient climber category. Technique of data collection is done by giving of Problem Solving Task (TPM) sequence and arithmetic series and job-based interview. Based on the analysis of research data that has been done, it is concluded that climber students in understanding the problem trend to read the problem twice. In plotting problem solving, climber students have an alternative solution to solve a given problem. At the implementation stage, climber students solve existing problems based on the most appropriate appropriate problem-solving plan and clearly disclose the truth information from the solution of the problem that has been done. The process of re-examining the problem solving, it is clear that the climber's students are re-checking and also trying to find alternative ways to solve the problem by first making an illustration of the drawing before doing the calculation process.   Key Word: Problem  Solving, Arithmetic Sequences and Series, Climber

Education plays a role in human life to prevent people from poverty, underdevelopment, and ignorance so that it is necessary to change the way of thinking of humans themselves to overcome these problems. The progress of the human mindset is a form of change and cannot be separated from the achievement of creativity. This article aims to describe and explain the use of mind maps in mathematics learning from a progressivism point of view through the learning process carried out from the primary and secondary education levels to produce creative products that can help students improve learning achievement through the role of the teacher as a facilitator and students as a learning center. This article uses literature study method, data is collected and analyzed as secondary data including books, journals and proceedings relevant to the topic. The results showed that the mind map method could be used by teachers and students to change the concept of thinking through active student involvement through the making of mathematics learning materials, addition and building space and the area of a circle in an attractive graphic form. Progressivism views that progress in thinking is a process of change and through the mindmaping learning method the concept of subject matter can be visualized in the form of a graphic infrastructure that can stimulate the right and left brains so that it can be useful to free students from the snare of rules when starting to learn. The conclusion of this study is a change in mindset that is in line with the viewpoint of progressivism philosophy is through a mind map learning model that can produce student creativity products and the role of the teacher as a facilitator can occur.

Seeing how big the role of mathematics in human life, even the future of a nation, then as a teacher in elementary schools who teach the basics of mathematics feel called to always try to improve learning and learning outcomes of mathematics. Reality in the field shows that mathematics learning outcomes are always at lower levels compared to other subjects. This can be seen from the results of daily mathematical tests on the basic competencies of calculating the building area of many facets only reaching an average of 67.9 or 54.5% of students achieving a value of 70. This study aims to prove and know the Concrete Media and the STAD Model can improve student learning outcomes in class VI-A. The subjects of this study were grade VI-A students of SD Negeri 62 / III Mukai Mudik in the 2017/2018 Academic Year. The number of research subjects was 22 students consisting of 14 male students and 8 female students. The study was carried out from 18 September to 16 October 2017. The research took place in class VI-A of SDN 62 / III Mukai Mudik, Siulak Mukai District, Kerinci Regency. While the research time is held in the first semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. Data were collected using student observation sheets, final cycle assessment / test sheets, and teacher activity questionnaires. Data collection time is at each end of learning in each cycle. The results of data analysis and discussion in this study can show some progress achieved during learning. So it can be concluded that learning using concrete media through the STAD model of student learning outcomes has increased, namely the first cycle achieving an average grade of 69.5, increasing in the second cycle reaching an average grade of 76.8. The completeness of the first cycle class is 72.7% and then increases in the second cycle reaching 83.6%.Keywords: extensive learning outcomes, constructive media and STAD

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang valid, praktis dan efektif dengan model Genius Laerning Strategi (GLS) pada materi barisan dan deret untuk siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 4 Golewa. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri atas 3 fase yaitu: (a) Penelitian Awal (Preliminary Research), (b) Fase pengembangan (Prototyping Phase) (c) Fase Penilaian (Assessment Phase). Perangkat yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembalajaran tersebut Valid. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh dua validator yang berbeda. Kepraktisan didapat dari hasil observasi keterlaksanaan aktivitas guru dan menunjukkan kriteria baik. Sedangkan keefektifan dinilai dari tiga hal, yaitu observasi aktivitas siswa dan hasil respon siswa dengan kategori baik dan positif.  Kata Kunci: Perangkat Pembelajaran, Genius Learning Strategy, Barisan Dan Deret Abstract This research aimed at developing Mathematics learning devices which valid, practical, and effective with Genius Laerning Strategi (GLS)model  in line and series materials of class IX SMP Negeri 4 Golewa. The research design used was Plomp development model design consisted of three phases, which were: Preliminary Research, Prototyping Phase, and Assessment Phase. The devices developed in this research were Students Worksheet. The result of research showed that the learning devices were valid. This indicated by the result of validation which done by two different valuators. The practicality was obtaining from the result of observing the implementation of the teacher activities and showed good criteria. Whereas the effectiveness was judged by three things namely the observation of students activity and the result of students responds in good and positive category. Keywords: learning devices, genius learning strategy, line and series materials

The focus of this research was to develop a syntax model for Mathematics learning using open-ended problem solving that can develop students’ creativity. The emphasis on creativity development was done since the curriculum and the experts also emphasize it. This can be understood since someone with high creativity can quickly make innovations or new breakthroughs. The design research used in this study followed Plomp’s design research (2007), which consisted of: (1) preliminary research phase; (2) prototyping phase; and (3) assessment phase. The syntax model produced in this research has five phases, namely: (1) introduction; (2) concept tracking; (3) open-ended problem presentation; (4) presentation of work; and (5) closing.
