Green Productivity is integrated for enhancing the profitability of the organization by improving productivity and environmental performance for overall socio-economic development. It considered the win-win situation of uplifting the quality of life in the form of generating profits to the business and considering the less impact to the environment from the business processes which leads to the greener business practices. The objective of this research paper is to review the existing literature about the practical application of the GP to identify the business areas which are influenced by the GP methodology. This is Qualitative research in nature. Nineteen existing research papers from reputed Journals are considered for the study. The content analysis method is used to analyze the research papers. The analysis results highlighted that GP methodology could be applied to any organization regardless of nature and size, and it will generate a significant contribution to the overall profitability of the organization by creating a competitive advantage in the market. GP will contribute to the organizations in two areas, (1) Productivity through reducing manufacturing cost, cycle time, risk, waste and increasing competitive advantages through social productivity, labour, and capital productivity of the business, (2) The environment in the form of reducing waste with many environmental concepts such as 3R, 5R Concepts and releasing less carbon emission to the environment. It is clear that this GP Methodology practice will enhance the development of socioeconomic and sustainability, which uplifts the living standard of all living beings in the natural environment.

Abstract. Research on knowledge discovery in the geospatial domain currently focuses on semi-structured, even on unstructured rather than fully structured content. The attention has been put on the plethora of resources on the Web, such as html pages, news articles, blogs, social media etc. Semantic information extraction in geospatial-oriented approaches is further used for semantic analysis, search, and retrieval. The aim of this paper is to extract, analyse and visualize geospatial semantic information and emotions from texts on climate change. A collection of articles on climate change is used to demonstrate the developed approach. These articles describe environmental and socio-economic dimensions of climate change across the Earth, and include a wealth of information related to environmental concepts and geographic locations affected by it. The results are analysed in order to understand which specific human emotions are associated with environmental concepts and/or locations, as well as which environmental terms are linked to locations. For the better understanding of the above-mentioned information, semantic networks are used as a powerful visualization tool of the links among concepts – locations – emotions.

Since contemporary learning theories, strategies and models offer the interdisciplinary approach, educators need new pedagogical alternative ways to attain it in practicum. For this reason, the current research aimed to illustrate how to intertwine mathematical modeling with an environmental issue that recruits waste management (e.g., reuse-recycle-reduce) to live an environmentally friendly lifestyle. Through a case study research, 6 seventh-grade students (3 females and 3 males; aged 13-14) voluntarily participated in the research. The researchers videotaped and analyzed all interactive learning processes to elicit the students’ environmental dialogues. The results indicated that the interdisciplinary mathematical modeling afforded the students to acquire the targeted environmental concepts/issues and somewhat supported their arguments. Since the current research illustrates an alternative pedagogy to integrate science/environmental education into mathematics, it may be used to facilitate dissemination and applicability of the STEM education. Keywords: environmental issues, interdisciplinary approach, mathematical modeling

Purpose This study aims to investigate the effects of green brand equity (GBE) on green brand attachment (GBA), green self-brand connection (GSBC), green brand attitude (GBAT) and green word of mouth (GWOM). Moreover, the mediating role of three main factors, namely, GBA, GSBC and GBAT. Design/methodology/approach Through an in-depth review of the relevant literature, a conceptual model was developed and a questionnaire was designed. Out of 600 distributed questionnaires among customers of disposable tableware brands in Tehran, 265 questionnaires were returned. Data were analyzed for measuring the proposed model using the structural equation modeling technique. Findings The obtained results showed that GBE has positive impacts on GBA, GSBC, GBAT and GWOM. GBA, GSBC and GBAT have positive impacts on GWOM. Also, GBA, GSBC and GBA partially mediate the relationship between GBE and GWOM. Research limitations This study has been done in the context of Iran, so caution should be taken to generalize the results. Practical implications This study provides a clear insight for brand managers and marketers about the mechanism of enhancing green signals, which a brand can transfer to consumers through GBE. Also, the study suggests that companies should design their advertisement in a way that demonstrates the environmental responsibility of the brand and environmentally friendly features of products to increase consumer awareness of environmental concerns. Social implications The obtained results might increase green awareness among the people which is hoped other industries, particularly manufacturing ones make necessary efforts toward promoting the implementation of green manufacturing. Originality/value The results provide important environmental concepts in the field of green marketing and use sustainable development and signaling theories to enhance the attraction of disposable tableware in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer contexts. This study also adds a new concept of GSBC to the marketing literature.

There has been significant interest in the values and benefits of early childhood nature experiences on children’s well-being and development. One aspect of studying the exposure of children to nature that requires more focus is the role played by early childhood educators. In particular, there is a need for early childhood environmental education training for pre-service educators. This study will explore the use of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve as an outdoor classroom for early childhood environmental education pre-service professionals. Exploratory quantitative and qualitative descriptive data from a series of three short surveys (pre/post/delayed post) provide a basic overview of pre-service teacher perspectives, experiences, and outcomes of an environmental education intervention. The results indicate that the participating pre-service educators had little to no familiarity with the environmental concepts or the biosphere reserve site before participation in the intervention. The post-intervention and delayed post-intervention results show that pre-service educators perceived that their understanding of the concept had improved. The results also show a perception of the positive role that biosphere reserve sites can play in early childhood education. Three critical implications emerged from the overall quantitative and qualitative results: (1) specific support should be given for early childhood environmental education training; (2) biosphere reserve functions provide support for efforts to improve connections to nature; (3) early childhood education has the potential to support the broadening of the biosphere reserve audience.

Increased global concerns about climate change and environmental degradation have attracted attention to sustainable development strategies. Sustainability involves maintaining ecological balance, requiring organizations to integrate social, political, economic, and environmental concepts in their business models. This research chapter aims to explore the new business models associated with increased awareness of sustainability. Literature review methodology was used as the primary data collection method. Four main new business models were identified, including sustainable business model innovation (SBMI), triadic business model (T-Model), circular business model, and Web 2.0-based business model. Despite the differences in definition and implementation of these modern frameworks, innovation and sustainability remain the central concepts of enhancing value creation and capturing. While these business models aim to enhance organizations' capabilities to optimize new opportunities and overcome challenges, they also aim to improve society and protect the environment.

Research background: From the world point of view, we are continually struggling with the opinion that economic growth must be connected with the deterioration of the environment and the quality of people´s lives. If we talk about environmental policy based on globalization changes, the discussion is more about mitigating the negative impacts of industrial production. Most products are not made in the way they can be reused in production, so the company is not ready to deal with the waste that is accumulated in various legal and illegal landfills. The priority of the circular economy is globally considered as save and efficiency in the use of limited natural resources, constantly streamlining the production of individual products associated with high efficiency and low consumption of low-emission resources. These are the main reasons why it is essential to focus on this area and bring innovative options on how to inform the public about this issue. The aim of the article: Our paper aims to point out, from the perspective of globalization, how important is the application of individual tools of marketing communication in the circular economy, through which the general public gets acquainted with the application of innovative environmental concepts. Methods: Main research from the dissertation thesis, the results of which we also used in this paper, consisted of more parts – analyses of findings, quantitative research, statistics methods. Findings and value-added: From a summary of gained findings is possible to prepare a general knowledge model for the mentioned areas.
