The article presents a detailed description of the transformation of the terrain relief due to long-lasting underground and surface mining activity in the Wielka Kopa massif at Rudawy Janowickie (the Western Sudetes mountains). It includes both the anthropogenic forms and secondary transformations of these forms due to natural land-shaping processes, ongoing after mining had been discontinued. The location deserves special attention, as it shows particularly significant mining-induced relief transformations, whose scale can be compared to those of the Walbrzych hard coal basin and the Turoszow lignite basin. The presented object is also an important historical heritage and deserves special attention due to its high research, didactic and tourism potential. The article offers a description of the characteristics and a classification of the anthropogenic forms in the area of Wielka Kopa, which are hoped to serve as an aid in planning future actions related to the revitalization of the area and also as an example for future descriptions of other closed mining facilities.

Special interest tourism is one of the efforts to provide alternative tourist attractions and sustainable tourism development in Bali. Visits of both domestic and foreign tourists to Bali in the last 4 years (2015-2019) have increased by an average of 8%. Now the tourism sector in Bali, especially in Bangli Regency, is starting to investigate or explore the possible development of tourist attractions through the development of tourist villages. In this case, the development of special tourism, including the tourist village of Bayung Gede, Bangli is very dependent on the architectural components of traditional settlements and the traditions of the residents in it as a source of attraction and main attraction for tourists. However, the influence of tourism has led to the transformation of traditional settlements. In this case, the transformation has given rise to a paradoxical phenomenon where on the one hand traditional housing attracts tourists, on the other hand the presence of tourists has led to a transformation of the traditional settlements of an area. The purpose of this study is to examine the architectural components of the Bayung Gede Village settlement as a tourism potential based on special interest tourism and then to find out how far the tourism architectural potential is found and how strong the Bayung Gede Village settlement icon is as a special interest DTW. The method used is a qualitative-exploratory and descriptive method. The results show that the traditional settlement of Bayung Gede Village contains elements of special interest tourism such as elements of novelty seeking, quality seeking, enriching, rewarding, adventuring and learning, so that it has the potential as religious tourism (the existence of four types of graves), culture (settlement and residential layout) and citrus plantation sector agro-tourism in improving the economic sector of the community. Investigation and inventory of Bayung Gede traditional housing is an effort to find a village icon that has prestige that can attract tourists to visit and be able to compete with other tourist villages.

The varied natural potential makes Bogor Regency has a lot of natural tourism potential. Its location in the highlands adds to the attraction of tourists to visit. One of the natural tourist destinations in Bogor Regency is Cipamingkis waterfall, the location of this waterfall is in Wargajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency. Sukamakmur district actually has several tourist attractions, such as the Kahyangan villa and the Ciherang waterfall. However, the existence of this tourist attraction has not had a significant impact on the villagers, most of the villagers still rely on agricultural fields as their livelihood. In addition, the village youth have not played a role in the management of tourism objects. They prefer to work outside the village rather than develop their village. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide training in managing and developing tourism objects in Sukamakmur district, the concept of community-based tourism management or better known as Community Based Tourism (CBT). The training was carried out in three stages, including program socialization, group discussions, and the last stage was tourism management planning. The results of these activities, in the socialization stage, the youth of Sukamakmur district actually have the motivation to manage and develop tourism objects in Sukamakmur district. However, it is constrained by limited knowledge about the management of tourism objects. The second stage of activity tries to dig up information on the existence of the tourist attraction, so that several alternative tourism development plans are obtained. In the last stage, it is activated to try alternative tourism objects that can be developed in Sukamakmur district with the hope that Sukamakmur district becomes a Tourism Village and residents get a positive impact.

There are different methodologies to assess landscape preferences, however there is no consensual methodology that can be replicated to identify their tourism potential. Recent studies have focused on agricultural landscape preferences due to their cultural characteristics. Although agricultural activity conflicts with the management models of natural protected areas, traditional models and sustainable practices reveal opportunities to boost tourism in this area, both for their aesthetic value, and for the opportunity to preserve biodiversity and maintain “lively landscapes”. The present study focuses on a double approach to collect data to measure the preferences for landscape typologies to realize outdoor/recreative activities in Tagus International Nature Reserve (TINR), among them, agricultural landscapes, such as the agro-silvopastural system “Dehesa/Montado” or olive grove. The preference of the landscapes were evaluated through photographs with pairwise comparison and without photographs observation, in which 174 respondents were consulted with. The different methodologies applied allowed for the extraction of different results, which led to the assumption that in fact there is no single methodology to assess preferences. However, the application of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) methodology with photographical pairwise comparison allowed for the extraction of more robust results when considering attractions with tourism typologies, revealing that “Cultural tourism/Rural mixed” and “Agritourism” were the most valued. This information is pertinent to support TINR managers and local tourism promoters to plan and structure products and services based on button-up methodologies.

Ngesrepbalong Village (Kendal) is considered feasible to be developed as a UNNES Assisted Village because it has various natural, social, economic, infrastructure, and institutional potentials. However, information about these potentials is still lacking. This community service activity aims to map the potential of the Ngesrepbalong Village area to be used for various interests, especially for development planning in the village. This service activity is carried out with a group-based approach (participatory mapping). The activities consist of socialization, increasing understanding and competence, implementing mapping activities, and handover mapping results. Mapping results show that the prominent potential in Ngesrepbalong Village is tourism potential. However, the problem of accessibility is one of the inhibiting factors for the development of this potential. The data and information obtained from the mapping of the potential of Ngesrepbalong Village can be used as material for consideration in preparing development plans or as the next target object for the implementation of further community service activities.

The aim of the study is to reveal Gaziantep Airport qualifications by applying the SWOT method. Qualitative research method was used in this study. SWOT analysis of Gaziantep Airport has been done. According to the results, although the airport has significant strengths and opportunities, it has some weaknesses and threats. The usability of the cargo terminal, having more destinations, being an international airport are determined as the strong dimensions of the airport. The insufficiency of the passenger terminal and parking area, the inefficiency of the instrument landing system were determined to be the weakness of the airport. However, investments made to overcome these deficiencies can be considered as opportunities. In addition, population growth, tourism potential due to the city of gastronomy, and the increase in the trade volume of the city have been identified as the opportunities of the airport. The proximity of the airport to the Syrian border, where the war has been going on since 2011, can be seen as a threat.
