Manual recognition of the cerebrum tumor for malignant growth determination from MRI pictures is a troublesome, repetitive and tedious assignment. The precision and the power of cerebrum Tumor discovery in this way, are significant for the determination, treatment arranging, and treatment result assessment. Generally, the programmed cerebrum tumor location techniques use hand structured highlights. Correspondingly, customary strategies for profound learning, for example, ordinary neural systems require a lot of commented on information to learn from, which is frequently hard to acquire in clinical area. Here, we portray another model two-pathway-bunch CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) design for cerebrum tumor recognition, which misuses neighborhood highlights and worldwide relevant highlights at the same time. This model implements equivariance in the two-pathway CNN model to decrease dangers and over fitting parameter sharing. At last, we implant the course engineering into two-pathway-brunch CNN in which the yield of an essential CNN is treated as an extra source and connected at the last year. Approval of the model on BRATS2013 and BRATS2015 information collections uncovered that inserting of a gathering CNN in to a two pathway engineering improved the general execution over the as of now distributed best in class while computational multifaceted nature stays alluring.

A method to evaluate a library’s government information collection using OCLC’s WorldCat is described. By searching material type codes for government publications, and limiting the search to an owning library, it is possible to find the number of cataloged government publications in a library’s collection. The system can be used to identify the age of government publications in a library, the number of items on a given subject, and find publications on a topic from a specific time period. This method of analysis is especially useful for analyzing government information collections when publications are cataloged into a library’s main collection. The search technique can be used to generate statistics on government publication collections which can be used to prepare reports on library collections and materials.

The Lean Kitchen is based on the Japanese TPS (Toyota Production System) system that increases productivity, efficiency and effectiveness within the kitchens. One of the principles of this philosophy is to identify the problem, optimizing resources to reduce waste, that is, lean manufacturing, in terms of eliminating bottlenecks and gaps. This article brings the theme of Lean Kitchen, to increase productivity, efficiency and effectiveness within the kitchens, as well as the concept of value, in terms of how much the customer is willing to pay. Therefore, the objective is to apply the lean concept within its outsourced industrial restaurants. Restaurants respond to variations in demands and varieties of service, however, as in any process, there are several problems that need to be meticulously detected in order to heal them. Literature based on Lean philosophy and the case study and metrics were used, such as: Visit to the Gemba reports; information collections; check-list application; problem identification; Brainstorming (team and leadership); Dynamics of engagement with team and leadership; visual communication application, feedback schedule with customers; Tools (5s; Pareto, Ishikawa, 5W2H; PDCA).

Abstract The combination of morphometrics, phylogenetic comparative methods, and open data sets has renewed interest in relating morphology to adaptation and ecological opportunities. Focusing on the Caviomorpha, a well-studied mammalian group, we evaluated patterns in research and data sharing in studies relating form and function. Caviomorpha encompasses a radiation of rodents that is diverse both taxonomically and ecologically. We reviewed 41 publications investigating ecomorphology in this group. We recorded the type of data used in each study and whether these data were made available, and we re-digitized all provided data. We tracked two major lines of information: collections material examined and trait data for morphological and ecological traits. Collectively, the studies considered 63% of extant caviomorph species; all extant families and genera were represented. We found that species-level trait data rarely were provided. Specimen-level data were even less common. Morphological and ecological data were too heterogeneous and sparse to aggregate into a single data set, so we created relational tables with the data. Additionally, we concatenated all specimen lists into a single data set and standardized all relevant data for phylogenetic hypotheses and gene sequence accessions to facilitate future morphometric and phylogenetic comparative research. This work highlights the importance and ongoing use of scientific collections, and it allows for the integration of specimen information with species trait data.

Graph-structured data is used to represent large information collections, called knowledge graphs, in many applications. Their exact format may vary, but they often share the concept that edges can be annotated with additional information, such as validity time or provenance information. Property Graph is a popular graph database format that also provides this feature. We give a formalisation of a generalised notion of Property Graphs, called multi-attributed relational structures (MARS), and introduce a matching knowledge representation formalism, multi-attributed predicate logic (MAPL). We analyse the expressive power of MAPL and suggest a simpler, rule-based fragment of MAPL that can be used for ontological reasoning on Property Graphs. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first approach to making Property Graphs and related data structures accessible to symbolic AI.
