This study aims to describe the application of the purchasing accounting system in the company and evaluate the internal control system in the company's purchasing accounting system. This research utilizes qualitative methods. The scope of research conducted in this study is an evaluation of internal control in the purchasing system at PT. Mulia Safety Service, which is located at Jl. Eastern Silver No. 232, Surabaya. Total respondents were determined using the snowball sampling technique—respondents who were selected to be key informants from the information manager of PT. Mulia Safety Service, then continued to other respondents based on recommendations from key respondents with assumptions related to the research conducted. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and analyzing data. The results showed that the internal control system for the purchasing accounting system at PT. Mulia Safety Service Surabaya is still not comprehensive. This is due to the dual function of the purchasing department (purchase function and receiving function) and the lack of document distribution (goods receipt form), which should also be accepted by the accounting department. Therefore, some improvements are needed. First, by creating a separate receiving section as a reception function or by giving this authority to the inventory section, and secondly, the receiving function also creates documents (goods receipt forms) so that not only the purchasing and inventory departments receive them but also the accounting department. This improvement is expected to optimize the purchasing accounting system at PT. Mulia Safety Service Surabaya.

Abstract This study aimed to investigate the associations between clinical severity of COVID-19 and general characteristics of the subjects using epidemiological data of 5,601 patients with confirmed COVID-19 in Korea. The subjects of this study were diagnosed with COVID-19 from January 20 to April 30, 2020. The subjects of this study acquired information on patients with confirmed COVID-19 from the Korea Disease Control & Prevention Agency, National Medical Center and the Health Information Manager in hospitals. We found that severity of COVID-19 was greater among patients aged > 60 years, with obesity, clinical symptoms, respiratory diseases, kidney disease, and other diseases (chronic liver disease, rheumatism/autoimmune disease, and dementia). Among the variables, women had reduced clinical severity of COVID-19. Therefore, people with these factors are more susceptible to COVID-19, and they require special attention.

Technical documentation is evolving from static contents presented on paper or via digital publishing to real-time on-demand contents displayed via virtual and augmented reality (AR) devices. However, how best to provide personalized and context-relevant presentation of technical information is still an open field of research. In particular, the systems described in the literature can manage a limited number of modalities to convey technical information, and do not consider the ‘people’ factor. Then, in this work, we present a Context-Aware Technical Information Management (CATIM) system, that dynamically manages (1) what information as well as (2) how information is presented in an augmented reality interface. The system was successfully implemented, and we made a first evaluation in the real industrial scenario of the maintenance of a hydraulic valve. We also measured the time performance of the system, and results revealed that CATIM performs fast enough to support interactive AR.
