As a result of the analysis of the work on rock destruction by cutters of milling of machines, it was found that the existing developments do not allow us to proceed to the derivation of calculation d dependencies for determining fracture resistance, or can be used only in preliminary calculations of the known by design parameters of milling machines. To eliminate these disadvantages, a combined physical and mathematical model of the process of interaction of a single milling cutter with a spherical tip with the rock has been developed. Consideration of the physical picture of the action of forces and stresses acting from the cutter with spherical tips on the separating rock element in the limiting condition allowed to describe analytically the components of total resistance, which are the mathematical part of the physical and mathematical model of rock destruction by cutters. Analytical dependences for determining the tangential and normal components of fracture resistance of rocks of medium hardness have been obtained. The adequacy of the physical and mathematical model to the physical process of destruction of rocks of different hardness by cutters on a universal stand was tested both in the field and in the laboratory conditions. Technical evaluation of the results of experimental studies confirms the reliability of the developed physical and mathematical model.

There are shown the features of the development process of the digital engine regulator RDTs-450M-S-500 for the MS-500V-02S turboprop engine as another modification in the family of regulators for engines of helicopter and aircraft (including unmanned aerial vehicles). These regulators are developed and serially produced by Element JSC since 2014 year, when the Appliance Design Approval of the aviation equipment component was received for RDTs-450M type. The creation of a new regulator is described as a modification of the basic design with the simultaneous refinement of a specially developed aircraft engine universal stand-imitator, which provides adjustment and verification of the parameters of the regulator. Information about the requirements differences for the rotor vibrations control compare the previous regulator modifications is given. It is shown that during the development process the need for a significant engine mathematical model correction was revealed. Element JSC specialists corrected this model originally provided by the engine developer Motor Sich JSC. The results of this correction performed based on experimental data are reflected. The results of using a new engine mathematical model, including the metering pump mathematical model, are presented. It is shown that the integration of a new mathematical model into a universal stand-imitator provided RDTs-450M-S-500 regulator adjustment and subsequent successful tests of RDTs-450M-S-500 as engine part, which confirmed the adequacy of the model. During this test, ensuring of the turbocharger rotor acceleration given level was confirmed too. There is provided here information on the regulator qualification in the Aviation Register of the Interstate Aviation Committee, based on the results of which Supplement to Applliance Design Approval for the component were received and information on the preparation for certification as part of the MC-500V-02S engine at the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine. It is mentioned that the experience of JSC "Element" specialists forces them to note the need to strengthen the methodological support of the aviation equipment components developers from the State Aviation Service.

This article discusses the problem of using touch screens in the crew cockpit as part of a general trend optimizing the humanmachine interface of the cockpit in order to improve the safety and quality of flights. The aim of the work is to develop a promising cockpit information and control field of a transport category aircraft based on touch screens and to analyze the feasibility of using this technology on board the aircraft. Based on the analysis of current research and trends, as well as regulatory documentation in the field of building a perspective cockpit using touch screens, a conclusion is made about the feasibility of using touch screens in the cockpit and the concept of a perspective cockpit is developed. As important elements of the concept, such interactive display pages as normal and emergency checklists, a navigation page with a flight plan, and pages of the aircraft navigation system are considered. Given the well-known problem of using touch displays in turbulence, a backup display and reconfiguration control loop is proposed. On the basis of the above-mentioned concept, an intelligent information system is being developed for prototyping a promising cockpit, taking into account the application of the ARINC 661 standard, with subsequent integration into a universal stand for prototyping the cockpit and testing the results with the participation of flight experts. The practical significance of this study is due to the significant optimization of the elements of the cockpit information and control field, as well as the potential increase in the reliability of the complex by replacing the electromechanical display controls, reducing the cost of developing the information and control field and making improvements, reducing weight by decreasing the number of wires and equipment, reducing the complexity of installation.

While studying the designs of threshing devices and threshing methods, we revealed the main factors that have a significant effecting the threshing process. It has been established that the primary method of seeds threshing is blow with subsequent wiping. Deformation of sunflower heads makes the threshing process easy and reduces seeds damage. When working, all the threshing and separating devices, acting as control objects, are subject to external influences that are caused by numerous and diverse factors requiring constant monitoring and adjustment of the control system. Such factors are moisture, physical and mechanical properties and varietal qualities of the threshed crop. After analyzing the material of the review of copyright certificates and patents, we concluded the new thresher should perform the following operations: compression, vibration, wiping, and blow. The developed stand allows exploring all methods of sunflower heads threshing and studying the impact of each factor on the characteristics of the obtained seed material.
