Facilitated transport membranes obtained by coupling polyvinylamine with highly charged carboxymethylated nanocellulose fibers were studied considering both water sorption and gas permeation experiments. In particular, the effect of the L-arginine as a mobile carrier was investigated to understand possible improvements in CO2 transport across the membranes. The results show that L-arginine addition decreases the water uptake of the membrane, due to the lower polyvinylamine content, but was able to improve the CO2 transport. Tests carried on at 35 °C and high relative humidity indeed showed an increase of both CO2 permeability and selectivity with respect to nitrogen and methane. In particular, the CO2 permeability increased from 160 to about 340 Barrer when arginine loading was increased from 0 to 45 wt%. In the same conditions, selectivity with respect to nitrogen was more than doubled, increasing from 20 to 45. Minor improvements were instead obtained with respect to methane; CO2/CH4 selectivity, indeed, even in presence of the mobile carrier, was limited to about 20.

AbstractWith the advent of 5G technology, the enhanced Mobile Broadband technology is translating 5G-based Internet of Things (IoT) such as smart home/building into reality. With such advances, security must mitigate greater risks associated with faster and more accessible technology. The 5G-based IoT security analysis is crucial to IoT Technology, which will eventually expand extensively into massive machine-type communications and Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communications. This paper analyses the countermeasures and verification methods of eavesdropping vulnerabilities within IoT devices that use the current 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) network system. The network hierarchical structure of 5G-based IoT was evaluated for vulnerability analysis, performed separately for 5G Access Stratum (AS), Non-Access Stratum (NAS), and Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). AS keystream reuse, NAS null-ciphering, and IMS IPsec off vulnerabilities were tested on mobile carrier networks to validate it on the 5G NSA network as well. A countermeasure against each vulnerability was presented, and our Intrusion Detection System based on these countermeasures successfully detected the presented controlled attacks.

An integrated navigation system as part of an inertial navigation system corrected by signals from a satellite navigation system is researched. The integrated navigation system is installed on a mobile carrier is arranged. The organization of the experimental study, the design of the stand used to install the equipment on a mobile carrier, and the measurement processing technique are considered. When the signals of the satellite system disappear, signal prediction algorithms are used. The results of assessing the positioning accuracy of the integrated navigation system in case of discontinuities in the reception of navigation signals, assessing the forecast accuracy by using the presented algorithms and conclusions drawn from the analysis of the results are presented. Keywords inertial navigation system; satellite navigation system; predictive model; positioning accuracy; trends; self-organization; identification

This research examines contextual meaning contained in the mobile operator’s advertisement in Indonesia. It focuses on how the form of cohesion and coherence, the form of word choice, and the grammatical element found in mobile operator’s advertising discourse in Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative method with the content analysis technique is used as the methodology in this study. Using these methods, the researcher can give a wider understanding of the linguistic lessons through the theory of critical discourse analysis. The data is taken from mobile operator’s advertisement and some books and journals. As a result of this study, the researcher found a form of word choice, cohesion and coherence as well as grammatical elements that emerged in mobile operator’s advertisement discourse including non-standard variety. The advertisement language replicates from competitors that feature cheap phone rates. Moreover, there is a contextual meaning in word choice of Indonesian discourse in mobile carrier advertisement. Keywords: Advertisement, Mobile Operator, Critical Discourse Review.

Background/Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of SNS characteristics on brand attitude and purchase intention as the importance of SNS marketing is increasing recently.Methods/Statistical analysis: The subjects of this study were consumers who have visited SNS of domestic mobile carriers in recent years. Data collection was conducted online. A total of 31 questions were included, including 6 general characteristics and 25 questions on the Likert 5-point scale. The collected data was utilized by SPSS Ver.22 statistical package for empirical analysis. The main analyzes were frequency analysis, validity, reliability, and multiple regression analysis.Findings: This study examined the effect of mobile carrier SNS characteristics on the purchase intention and empirically analyzed whether the brand attitude had a mediating effect on the relationship between SNS characteristics and purchase intention. The empirical results show that the measured variables correlate with each other. First, SNS characteristics have a positive effect on purchase intention. As a result of multiple regression analysis, the standardization coefficient (β) showed that information providing had the highest influence on purchase intention as .355***. The explanatory power (R2) of the relationship between SNS characteristics and purchase intention was .485 (48.5%). Second, SNS characteristics have a positive effect on brand attitude. Benefit had the highest impact on brand attitude of .418***. The explanatory power (R2) of SNS characteristics on the influence of brand attitude was .538 (53.8%). Third, brand attitude affects purchase intention. Finally, Brand attitude was partially mediated between SNS characteristics and purchase intention. The characteristics of SNS are important to increase purchase intention, and the mediating effect of brand attitude is verified.Improvements/Applications: This study emphasizes the importance of SNS characteristics through brand attitude to increase purchase intention. It will be an important resource for suggesting SNS marketing methods that effectively utilize SNS characteristics.
