Abstract Multi-qubit graph states generated by the action of controlled phase shift operators on a separable quantum state of a system, in which all the qubits are in arbitrary identical states, are examined. The geometric measure of entanglement of a qubit with other qubits is found for the graph states represented by arbitrary graphs. The entanglement depends on the degree of the vertex representing the qubit, the absolute values of the parameter of the phase shift gate and the parameter of state the gate is acting on. Also the geometric measure of entanglement of the graph states is quantified on the quantum computer ibmq athens. The results obtained on the quantum device are in good agreement with analytical ones.

In this paper, various notions of chaos for continuous linear operators on Fréchet spaces are investigated. It is shown that an operator is Li–Yorke chaotic if and only if it is mean Li–Yorke chaotic in a sequence whose upper density equals one; that an operator is mean Li–Yorke chaotic if and only if it admits a mean Li–Yorke pair, if and only if it is distributionally chaotic of type 2, if and only if it has an absolutely mean irregular vector. As a consequence, mean Li–Yorke chaos is not conjugacy invariant for continuous self-maps acting on complete metric spaces. Moreover, the existence of invariant scrambled sets (with respect to certain Furstenberg families) of a class of weighted shift operators is proved.

Bergman space theory has been at the core of complex analysis research for many years. Indeed, Hardy spaces are related to Bergman spaces. The popularity of Bergman spaces increased when functional analysis emerged. Although many researchers investigated the Bergman space theory by mimicking the Hardy space theory, it appeared that, unlike their cousins, Bergman spaces were more complex in different aspects. The issue of invariant subspace constitutes one common problem in mathematics that is yet to be resolved. For Hardy spaces, each invariant subspace for shift operators features an elegant description. However, the method for formulating particular structures for the large invariant subspace of shift operators upon Bergman spaces is still unknown. This paper aims to characterize bounded Hankel operators involving a vector-valued Bergman space compared to other different vector value Bergman spaces.

In this paper, we investigate topological transitivity of operators on nonseparable Hilbert spaces which are similar to backward weighted shifts. In particular, we show that abstract differential operators and dual operators to operators of multiplication in graded Hilbert spaces are similar to backward weighted shift operators.

PurposeThe paper aims to build the relationship between an entire function of restricted hyper-order with its linear c-shift operator.Design/methodology/approachStandard methodology for papers in difference and shift operators and value distribution theory have been used.FindingsThe relation between an entire function of restricted hyper-order with its linear c-shift operator was found under the periphery of sharing a set of two small functions IM (ignoring multiplicities) when exponent of convergence of zeros is strictly less than its order. This research work is an improvement and extension of two previous papers.Originality/valueThis is an original research work.

Abstract For the rational quantum Calogero systems of type A1⊕A2, AD3 and BC3, we explicitly present complete sets of independent conserved charges and their nonlinear algebras. Using intertwining (or shift) operators, we include the extra ‘odd’ charges appearing for integral couplings. Formulæ for the energy eigenstates are used to tabulate the low-level wave functions.

UDC 517.9 In this article, a hybrid family of three-variable Legendre – Laguerre – Appell polynomials is explored and their properties including the series expansions, determinant forms, recurrence relations, shift operators, followed by differential, integro-differential and partial differential equations are established. The analogous results for the three-variable Hermite – Laguerre – Appell polynomials are deduced. Certain examples in terms of Legendre – Laguerre – Bernoulli, –E uler and – Genocchi polynomials are constructed to show the applications of main results. A further investigation is performed by deriving homogeneous Volterra integral equations for these polynomials and for their relatives.
