Pengenalan Dasar-dasar Investasi bagi Ibu-ibu PKK Kelurahan Babakan, Setu, Tangerang Selatan

Investment is an important thing to do given the uncertainty in the future. Babakan Village is located in a position that makes it easy for people to be tempted to shop because of easy access to shopping centers. Through the PKK Mobilizing Team which is a government partner as well as a social organization that functions as a facilitator, planner, executor, as well as controller and with the aim of improving the welfare of the community, this PKM is held by providing counseling on the fundamentals of investment. PKM was attended by approximately sixty (60) participants of PKK ladies, the Secretary of the Village of Babakan and student representatives. Penyiapan Pondasi dan Lantai Bangunan Utama Pengolahan Sampah di Dukuh Ngipikrejo II, Desa Banjararum, Kabupaten Kulonprogo

Banjararum village does not have solid waste processing facility (“tempat pengolahan sampah” atau TPS) yet. The community service activity program aims to design TPS area site plan, TPS building (especially foundation and floor), and carry out the construction work. The building is located at village property site and includes area of 1000 m2. The work activities include location survey, surveying, site plan preparation, review and finalizing of site plan by team and village government partner, land clearing, bouwplank fixing, cut work, foundation construction, soil filling for floor levelling, construction of other building elements (column, wall, roof), tile fixing, and reporting. Technical data are consisted: floor area by dimension of 11´6 m, three maturity pools by dimension 3.5´4 m per pool, continuous river stone foundation (by dimension of height, base width, and top width of 0,6´0,6´0,3 m) and a layer beneath foundation made by river sands and stones. Village government partner assists team work through labor and material procurement and carry out daily supervising.

PESANTREN; AKAR TRADISI DAN MODERNISASI

Islamic Boarding school is an islamic education institution which has an identical tradition in indonesian muslim societuy. This institution has emerged long before the colonialism era in Indonesia. In its long history since years to pursue the concept of modernism, islamic boarding school, sometimes ,has also been perceived negatively because of transnasionalism ideology which is adopted in recent years. In that case, this paper aimed to describe the existence of islamic boarding school in indonesian social life. By argumenting and comparing some previous studies in this case to gain an accurate result. Moreover, this paper is intended to answer some western perception about islamic boarding school in Indonesia, and finally emphasize the role of islamic boarding school as a government partner and its function in creating democracy.
