Academic writing plays a pivotal role in developing research proposals. The present study aimed to explore the grammatical errors that M.Phil/PhDs scholars commit in academic writing. The present study employed a qualitative case study designed to explore the challenges in the English language faced by the M.Phil and PhDs scholars. The 20 Ph.D. and 36 M.Phil scholars were selected by busing purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by using two self-developed semi-structured interviews protocol. Thematic analysis approach was employed for data analysis. The findings revealed that all the participants reported that correct use of tenses was a big hurdle that entailed the other grammatical mistakes and reduced the report quality because all the lexical aspects are linked with these mechanics. The study recommended that English language courses be offered to postgraduate, M. Phil and Ph.D. scholars to learn the technical aspects of the language and provide students with online interactive programming.

This research was conducted in order to improve the teaching material in the form of an educational CD for class VII SMP with material on physical and chemical changes (chemical reactions). The stages of research and improvement carried out include: (1) needs analysis, (2) product improvement stage, (3) feasibility study and trial stage. Analysis of the needs of class VII students of SMPN 8 Jakarta with 39 respondents was carried out with the results that 100% of respondents had used computers at relatively frequent intervals (79.92%). More than half of the respondents (66.67%) stated that the seventh grade science (chemistry) subject was quite difficult. The product improvement stage begins with a literature study to create teaching material content, and the production of teaching materials in the form of interactive CDs. Educational materials are made using Macromedia Flash interactive programming facility which includes animation of chemical reaction applications, chemical reaction processes, and practice questions with multiple choice questions. The time required for the contents of this learning CD is 15-20 minutes. The feasibility test phase carried out by material experts, media and teachers showed that the learning CDs developed were suitable for practical use. Meanwhile, small and large group experiments with class IX students of SMPN 8 Jakarta and SMP Terpadu Widya Duta Jakarta gave very good interpretation results, so it can be concluded that CD is used for learning materials on physical and chemical changes.


Exploratorydata analysis is a method to summarize main characteristics of data, and also to understand data more deeply using visualization techniques. This paper focuses on defining systematic approach in the form of well-defined sequence of steps to explore data in various aspects. Every organization produces lot of data. Organization needs to analyze this data very carefully to extract hidden patterns in the data. Task Centric EDA[2]produces actionable insights as outcome to improve business process.This uses Pythonprogramming language and Jupyter Notebook for data analysis. Python is an object oriented and interactive programming language, which contains rich sets of libraries likepandas, MATplotlib, seaborn[10]etc. We have used different types of charts and various types of parameters to analyze retail dataset and to improve sales using precision marketing.

Data need to be analyzed so as to produce good result. Using the result decision can be taken. For example recommendation system, ranking of the page, demand fore casting, prediction of purchase of the product. There are some leading companies where the review of the customer plays a great role to analyze the factor which influences the review rating. We have used exploratory data analysis (EDA) where data interpretations can be done in row and column format. We have used python for data analysis. it is object oriented ,interpreted and interactive programming language. it is open source with rich sets of libraries like pandas, MATplotlib, seaborn etc. We have used different types of charts and various types of parameter to analyze Amazon review data sets which contains the reviews of electronic data items. We have used python programming for the data analysis
