AbstractFor finding a common fixed point of a finite family of G-nonexpansive mappings, we implement a new parallel algorithm based on the Ishikawa iteration process with the inertial technique. We obtain the weak convergence theorem of this algorithm in Hilbert spaces endowed with a directed graph by assuming certain control conditions. Furthermore, numerical experiments on the diffusion problem demonstrate that the proposed approach outperforms well-known approaches.

"In this paper, we introduce the notion of Osilike-Berinde-G-nonexpansive mappings in metric spaces and show that every Osilike-Berinde-G-nonexpansive mapping with nonempty fixed point set is a G-quasinonexpansive mapping. We also prove the demiclosed principle and apply it to obtain a fixed point theorem for Osilike-Berinde-G-nonexpansive mappings. Strong and \Delta-convergence theorems of the Ishikawa iteration process for G-quasinonexpansive mappings are also discussed."

The present paper seeks to illustrate approximation theorems to the fixed point for generalized α -nonexpansive mapping with the Mann iteration process. Furthermore, the same results are established with the Ishikawa iteration process in the uniformly convex Banach space setting. The presented results expand and refine many of the recently reported results in the literature.

AbstractIn this article, Δ-convergence and strong convergence of the modified Ishikawa iteration process with errors are established for continuous mappings of asymptotically nonexpansive type in CAT(0) spaces. Our results extend and improve the previous results given by many authors.

In this article, we study the approximate fixed point sequence of an evolution family. A family E=Ux,y;x≥y≥0 of a bounded nonlinear operator acting on a metric space M,d is said to be an evolution family if Ux,x=I and Ux,yUy,z=Ux,z for all x≥y≥z≥0. We prove that the common approximate fixed point sequence is equal to the intersection of the approximate fixed point sequence of two operators from the family. Furthermore, we apply the Ishikawa iteration process to construct an approximate fixed point sequence of an evolution family of nonlinear mapping.

Abstract In this paper, we introduce an iteration process for approximating common fixed points of two nonself asymptotically nonexpansive map- pings in Banach spaces. Our process contains Mann iteration process and some other processes for nonself mappings but is independent of Ishikawa iteration process. We prove some weak and strong convergence theorems for this iteration process. Our results generalize and improve some results in contemporary literature.
