Abstract A fundamental plane frictional receding contact of a thin layer pressed onto a substrate is solved with the insertion of distributions of dislocations. The new formulation overcomes the restriction of standard contact analysis with the distributed dislocation technique, which requires the distributions to be square root bounded to zero or square root singular at the ends of the area of insertion. This new formulation opens up a range of plane frictional receding contacts to theoretical study. Solutions are obtained for the basic plane receding contact problem of a homogeneous linear elastic semi-infinite layer pressed by a line load onto a half-plane of the same material with a Coulomb friction interface. The frictional dependence of receding contact behavior is identified and discussed.

Aspects of evil are revealed as the aesthetic inspiration of art, mainly of literature, and of the natural necessity of the existence of evil as the basic plane of being. It is explored the idea of death as a manifestation of evil and the need for death to develop life. G. Bataille discloses the philosophy of death through a system of sacrifice of the best achievement in accordance with the religious beliefs of ancient peoples. The Christian model of rejecting the death of an innocent victim and the Protestant ethic of accumulating wealth are defined by the philosopher as an unnatural phenomenon and a threat to life. It is stated that man perceives death through the prism of exclusively evil and, unlike an animal, scrolls death through the process of knowing good and evil. Attention is paid to identifying evil as the primary need for good. The question of suffering, the creator of which the philosopher defines God, is explored. In the same context, the essence of God is revealed as well as the role of the Devil in becoming God as the absolute of good. Evidence has been shown to be a necessary value that promotes communion with God.

Our reasoned sense of obligations to others can arise from at least three possible sources: cooperation, having caused harm, and effective power to improve suffering. The last source, this chapter argues, is particularly important in considering our obligations to future generations. It draws on a line of reasoning that takes us well beyond contractarian motivations to the idea of the “impartial spectator” as developed by Adam Smith. The interests of future generations come into the story because they are important in our attempt to be impartial spectators. The obligation of power contrasts with the mutual obligations for cooperation at the basic plane of motivational justification. In the context of climate concerns and intergenerational justice, this asymmetry-embracing approach seems to allow an easier entry for understanding our obligations.

The purpose of this work is to reveal the influence of the location of the product grown upon roughness during shaping at prototyping. To achieve the goal specified there were chosen plates with dimensions 10x10x3mm, and the surface investigated – a plane 10x10mm. Some sets of plates were printed on a 3D printer Envision Ultra 2 of high-temperature photo –polymeric resin NTM 140 according to Direct Light Projection (DLP). The plates made of NTM 140 after extraction from a printer have temperature durability of 140°C. For more exact and deep researches of the phenomenon mentioned there was used a method of atomic – power microscopy (APM) for the definition of the surface micro-relief in samples under investigations. As a basic tool for the analysis of surface micro-relief a scanning microprobe microscope Solver Pro, and program package WSxM allowed obtaining 3D images of a surface layer of samples. It is evident from the results presented that at the formation of a flat by means of the quick prototyping method according to a DLP type technology the most optimum scheme of location is that at which the angle of basic plane slope makes 8°.

172 basic Cessna plane in the process of operation, the production of equipment failure is random, so the evaluation of equipment performance and to predict its failure time to improve the safe operation of the 172 basic plane has important application value. On the plane this complex system, the grey theory combined with 172 basic Cessna plane, the collection of 172 basic aircraft fault information centralized data processing, analysis, prediction model GM (1, 1), through the calculation of the GM model data, and the error precision fitting test, better realize the basic 172 aircraft equipment failure time prediction.

In this paper we consider historical genesis of trifocal curve as an optimal curve for solving the Fermat?s problem (minimizing the sum of distance of one point to three given points in the plane). Trifocal curves are basic plane geometric forms which appear in location problems. We also analyze algebraic equation of these curves and some of their applications in architecture, urbanism and spatial planning. The area and perimeter of trifocal curves are calculated using a Java application. The Java applet is developed for determining numerical value for the Fermat-Torricelli-Weber point and optimal curve with three foci, when starting points are given on an urban map. We also present an application of trifocal curves through the analysis of one specific solution in South Stream gas pipeline project.

Abstract The two-dimensional interface problem of statics of elastic mixtures is investigated when differences between displacement vectors and stress vectors are given on the contact curve. For this problem special potentials with complex densities are constructed and by means of them the contact problem is reduced to a system of integral equations of Fredholm type. Analysis of the equations obtained is given.
