The considerations made in this article justify the conclusion that a paraphilic assesses the marriage from a selfish perspective, because everything he does is aimed at satisfying his pleasure. He does not consider the other person or the possibility of treating him objectively - in other words, a parafilik treats his partner as a thing to satisfy his selfish need for pleasure. Meanwhile, in the marriage relationship, closeness and realization of the good of the other party are sought as an equal partner. On the other hand, paraphilism, which is a sexual impulse, destroys not only the marriage but the spouse and, to a greater or lesser extent, the paraphilic himself. In a marriage with a paraphilic, there is no stability, no realization of the spouse's good, no realization of the community of life and love, only instinctive satisfaction, which is also unnatural. Nevertheless, regardless of the definition of paraphilia in medical sciences and psychology, when conducting a trial in an ecclesiastical court, it should be verified in the light of the concept of Christian anthropology, proper to canon studies. The paraphilia itself does not nullity it, it all depends on the severity of the disorder in question and its impact on the functioning in marriage.

This chapter explores the influence of Schopenhauer on the contemporary French author Michel Houellebecq. After surveying some biographical similarities between the two authors, it considers the significance of Schopenhauer’s thought, both his metaphysics of the Will and his moral philosophy, for Houellebecq’s literature. It is shown how Houellebecq reaffirms Schopenhauer’s Buddhistic diagnosis of “life as suffering,” but goes further to imagine possible worlds where the human condition has been overcome by techno-scientific interventions. In doing so, Houellebecq carries out a devastating critique of the present age from the standpoint of various post-human futures. Another theme explored is the omnipresence of desire and the sexual impulse with which both Schopenhauer and Houellebecq are deeply preoccupied.

Sexual impulse will begin to appear in a person when entering adolescent age. The adolescent does different things to fulfill their sexual impulse such as holding hands, hugging, kissing, touching and even having sex. Because this is a new experience to them, they need a lot of information about sexuality such as the reproductive system, sexually transmitted diseases, and others. They can get it in school, the internet, or discuss it with others. The way they deal with their sexual impulse is largely determined by their individual characteristics, knowledge, and discussion partners. This study aims to determine the effect of individual characteristics, knowledge, and information sources on adolescent sexual behavior. This study uses data from the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (SDKI) in 2012 with a unit of analysis adolescence age of 15─19 years and is never married. The method of analysis uses multinomial logistic regression with adolescent sexual behavior as response variables divided into three categories; quiet (ignore it), minor sexual activity, and serious (touching the sensitive area and or having sex). The conclusion is the individual's background, sexual knowledge, and sources of information influence sexual behavior both in boy and girl. Serious sexual behavior tends to occur in adolescents who do not attend school, a man who understands about contraception, girls who misunderstand about pregnancy, and those who discuss sexuality with friends.

The article analyzes the image of the Minotaur in the work of Pablo Picasso where the painter identifies himself with this mythological being. Such an identification dates back to the time of Picasso’s relationship with Marie-Thérèse Walter, at which point the painter takes up his old bullfighting theme, which will culminate in his epic Guernica. At that time Picasso also becomes interested in surrealism and Freud’s theories. In addition, the artist maintained a relationship of reciprocal admiration with the surrealist intellectuals and writers, who influenced him as well. Minotaur is a symbol of the instinctive force of the subconscious, and Picasso appropriates it to express the criminal and sexual impulse that ends up dominating the most entrenched conventions of the human being. All the characters of the Minotauromaquia represent Picasso himself in various dimensions of his mind. Minotaur is a human and an animal at the same time, a synthesis of the two main antagonists of the bullfight, which Picasso was so fond of; the human part of the Minotaur is also endowed with consciousness. The bullfight as a national holiday is a national tragedy as well, and in Picasso’s symbolic vision, the death is the only winner there. The influence of his relations with the beloved women in the imaginary of his painting is accentuated likewise, particularly in Picasso’s portraying of himself as a blind Minotaur which lets himself be carried away by a girl, and the presence of the bullfighter woman. The evolution of the bullfighting theme in the painter’s future facilitates the better understanding of the symbolism of his Guernica painting. For Picasso, ancient myths are not only an invented fable, but a source of inspiration for life impulses, which, as he feels, influence his personality.

Objective. To survey cigarette behaviors and nicotine dependence among Chinese MA users, explore risk factors for high nicotine dependence, and analyze the relationship between nicotine dependence and MA-related euphoria and sexual impulse.Methods. A cross-sectional study, applying a self-designed questionnaire with the Fagerström Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND) and Visual Analog Scale (VAS), was performed among 391 MA users in Beijing and Guangdong, China.Results. Most MA users were smokers, including 159 having high dependence on nicotine (HD users,FTND>5)and 197 low or medium dependent (LMD users,FTND≤5). Men or married users were more likely to be highly dependent than women or unmarried users. Higher MA dose and ever-use of ketamine or alcohol were associated with higher likelihood of high nicotine dependence. HD users reported significantly higher euphoria and stronger sexual impulse after using MA, indicated by higher VAS scores.Conclusions. Potential risk factors for high nicotine dependence among MA users may include male gender, being married, higher MA dosage, and ever-use of ketamine or alcohol, which should be taken into consideration in individualized health promotion on smoking cessation. Severe nicotine dependence was associated with stronger MA-related euphoria and sexual impulse and it should be confirmed by further studies.
